Night crept in quickly while Emma tried to find Victor. Veyron sat in his lair, spinning his chair around as he watched different feeds from around the world: businesses crumbling, rising, and birthing a new age. He turned to the camera where Victor was on display, his head lowered his body weak, he seemed unconscious.
As Veyron stared at Victor he grew angrier.
"You ruined her. You ruined my creation with your existence. You taught her love, taught her mercy, things she should have never thought of". He spoke to himself gnashing his teeth.
He turned to a photograph of Zyra from her first mission. Her eyes shone cold, dark, conscienceless; she was easy to control and ready to bring men and women to their knees in any way possible.
