What if they got hurt?
Of course, some weren't distracted by their beauty ..... they watched the duel with serious faces.
The girls' mastery of blade techniques, swordsmanship, and movement was all at an advanced level.
Though still a little behind Shen Tian and Luo Feng, those two were freaks and couldn't be compared to.
For anyone else, the girls were undoubtedly geniuses.
Ding ding ding!
With the school bell ringing, the students of No. 3 High School burst out like wild horses, flooding the campus exit.
After a sweaty training session, Shen Tian felt refreshed.
He led Liu Ting and Xu Xin, who had already changed clothes, toward the underground parking lot.
The two girls, now wearing long skirts, stockings, and high-heeled boots .... one in white, one in purple....had pinned their long hair up high.
They now had less girlish innocence and more mature allure, attracting countless stares along the way.
Their heels clacked against the ground, as if stepping on the hearts of the boys watching, making them forget to breathe.
They went straight to the parking lot, tossed their weapons into the trunk.
"Madman, I heard you signed with the Extreme Martial Hall?"
Shen Tian asked Luo Feng, who had just come with Wei Wen, ready to leave.
"Yes!"
"I signed yesterday. I compared the conditions .... Extreme Martial Hall gave me the best deal, a special-level contract."
Luo Feng smiled as he spoke.
Becoming a warrior meant he no longer had to worry about living expenses.
But training was still inconvenient .... he had to go to the martial hall every time.
As for moving out of his rental apartment into a villa .... that would still take time.
In Jiangnan Base City, with nearly 200 million people crammed in, housing was extremely tight.
And with the explosion of low-level warriors over the last sixteen years, good housing was even more scarce.
Ordinary low-level warriors shouldn't even dream of moving into a large villa.
At most, they could get a townhouse.
To live in a detached villa, you'd need several billion Huaxia coins or truly extraordinary talent.
Although Luo Feng had become a warrior, low-level warriors didn't earn that much.
It was only recently, as his strength increased, that he had some real financial freedom.
Shen Tian's path was finally clear.
Thanks to his timely intervention, Luo Feng wasn't just joining the Dojo of Limits as another rookie ..... he was being signed as a special recruit, with privileges most warriors could only dream of.
Instead of the usual Level 1 contract that bound newcomers with meager pay, Luo Feng would begin with double the benefits:
200 million yuan for combat manuals, top-tier weapons, and training resources.
100 million yuan in unrestricted funds .... his to spend however he wished.
And that wasn't all.
Tomorrow, Luo Feng would move his family into Mingyue Community .....a luxury, heavily guarded district where even mid-tier Wargods struggled to buy property.
Compared to the cramped rental apartment they had endured for years, it was another world entirely.
Grinning, Luo Feng clapped Shen Tian on the shoulder.
"Brother Shen, I owe you one! Dinner's on me ....after tomorrow's signing!"
Shen Tian's smile was faint but knowing.
"Don't thank me.
You earned this with your talent. I just gave you a push."
But Luo Feng knew better. Without Shen Tian, he might have been trapped in a poor deal that would have slowed his growth ..... in a world where slow growth meant death outside the city walls.
With a final nod, Luo Feng and Wei Wen left, leaving Shen Tian with two striking women:
Liu Ting, the cold, ex-SWAT officer turned warrior, and Xu Xin, the elegant "Ice Queen" of Jiangnan Investment.
The Night Drive
A sleek black sports car tore down the highway, its engine purring like a hunting beast.
In the back seat, Liu Ting lounged with casual confidence, her silk-clad legs crossed, eyes glinting under the passing lights. Shen Tian's hand rested lazily on her thigh.
"Second Sister left yesterday," Shen Tian said, referring to Jiang Fang ..... the Moon Witch, one of the Dojo's most fearsome warriors, and someone deeply interested in Luo Feng's future as a dual-blade fighter.
"Why don't you both come over tonight?" Shen Tian's tone was smooth, almost casual.
Liu Ting's lips curved. She slid into his lap, her arms wrapping around his neck.
"Took you long enough to ask," she murmured.
At the wheel, Xu Xin caught the scene in the rearview mirror and smirked .... but her grip on the steering wheel tightened.
Then....
SCREECH!
The car swerved violently as Xu Xin slammed the brakes.
Liu Ting cursed as she was thrown off Shen Tian's lap.
"Xu Xin!" she snapped.
"Oops," Xu Xin said with a too-innocent smile. "My foot slipped."
Shen Tian chuckled and helped Liu Ting back up.
"Don't worry. I'll make it up to you."
Before Xu Xin could react, he pulled her into the back seat, sliding into the driver's place in one fluid motion.
The car surged forward, weaving through traffic like a predator chasing prey.
"Shen Tian! Slow down!" Xu Xin's hand gripped the dashboard.
"Why? Even if we crash, I'll protect you."
"You're insane!" Liu Ting growled, but Shen Tian only laughed.
The Sky Breaks
A deafening cry split the night.
They looked up.
A Black-Crowned Golden Eagle .... an emperor-class monster with a forty-meter wingspan ... was plummeting toward the city, its shadow blotting out the moon.
Its scream shattered windows, leaving people clutching bleeding ears as cars spun out of control.
"You dare?!"
The roar came from above.
A man in red-and-blue armor shot skyward .... one of the Dojo's top fighters. His blade flashed like a second moon as he met the eagle head-on.
BOOM!
The clash shook the clouds.
SLASH!
A blinding arc of sword light split the air.
The eagle's scream ended in a crash as it plummeted, smashing through a skyscraper and sending a cloud of debris rolling across the street.
