"Are you up?"
A soft voice fills her ears, slow to an echo of a woman's voice.
"Oh dear, that won't do."
It hurts. She thought to herself.
The rhythmic pounding in her head left her unfocused, lying on rubble that came from the impaired building.
Or what was left of it.
The girl heard a soft gasp from the woman's voice.
"You're a…"
She didn't finish her sentence, only laying a gentle top on her head. Crusted with crimson and debris.
The girl's head felt lighter. Like she could think clearly again.
"Now that you're able to hear me clearly."
"Get up."
