"System, tell me how these stats match the average person in this world?" Klaus asked

[Your stats are slightly higher than a regular adult]

"Hmm, is that so... that's good. Can you open the slave management?"

[Slave management]

[Slaves: 2 of 10]

1. [Lv 3 Dire Wolf]

2. [Lv 3 Dire Wolf]

"So I can have a max of ten. Is it possible to increase the cap?"

[Yes, as you get stronger, so shall you limit]

"Alright...but I think before I move on, I should name these guys," Klaus said, looking at his two wolves.

"Hmmm, okay, I will name you Luna and you Dusk, " Klaus said, pointing to each wolf respectively.

As he named them, he felt a wave of tiredness overcome him as he saw a blue light envelop both of the wolves. With the light completely covering their bodies, Klaus watched as they began to grow, becoming slightly bigger than their previous forms.

"What's happening to them?" Klaus asked, confused by the sudden events

[They are becoming named monsters]

[In this world, giving a name to a monster is a very delicate task. That's why your mana was drained to do so.]

"That was the wave of tiredness I felt," Klaus wondered as he checked to see that all his mana had been drained.

[Correct]

As the light slowly began to weaken and fade away, the two wolves in their new forms were seen. Dusk had changed from a grey wolf to a wolf with pitch black fur and star-crossed eyes that glowed with a white hue. While Luna's fur became peral white, and her eyes also bore the same crossed star iris that glowed with a pale blue hue.

[Lv. 10 Elite Wolf: Luna]

[Lv.10 Elite Wolf: Dusk]

"... Whoa, you guys shot up all the way to level ten...I see what you meant now," Klaus said with a small laugh of surprise as he petted the two.

"Now moving on from that, can you open the golden gacha?"

[Golden Gacha]

"That's quite the difference, and if I had to guess, that makes them all the harder to get," Klaus sighed as he closed the system tabs.

"Alright, enough sitting around. I need to find a village before it gets too late," Klaus said, standing up and continuing down his path.

With Luna and Dusk walking beside him like guard dogs, the three made their way through the forest, not running into many creatures. They did meet a few wolves, but they all ran away at the sight of Luna and Dusk.

It was only when they reached a small clearing that they ran into creatures that did not run. It was a group of small, humanoid creatures holding crude weapons and wearing only loincloths.

[Lv. 5 Goblin]

[Lv. 2 Goblin]

[Lv. 3 Goblin]

[Lv. 3 Goblin]

"Luna, Dusk, I don't have the skills to fight, so I'm going to leave this to you two. Can you handle it?" Klaus asked, looking at the two as they growled at the goblins

Barking, they both charged at the goblins at full speed. Before the goblins could even get a chance to charge at them, the wolves were already at the necks of two of them. Biting deep into their necks, Luna and Dusk dropped the two limp bodies before clawing the remaining goblins that were frozen in shock by the strength and speed of the wolves.

[Your Slaves have Killed 5 Low-Level Goblins: +75 exp./+5 Copper]

[Lv. 10 Luna: +25 exp]

[Lv. 10 Dusk: +25 exp]

"Hmm, most of the experience is gained by me...that will he very helpful in the beginning. If I can get more wolves and let them go hunting freely, I can get passive experience," Klaus began thinking as Luna and Dusk walked up to him, Dusk holding a goblin arm in his mouth.

"Don't eat that, Dusk. I will buy you two better foods later," Klaus said

"But now that I think about it, I should be able to sell those monster corpses at a guild hall," Klaus said as he walked up to the goblin bodies.

Placing them all in his inventory, he did allow them each a goblin arm since they seemed hungry. Continuing through the forest, Luna and Dusk kept killing all the goblins they ran into, including two wolves that attempted to fight them.

As the sun began to get lower and the morning sky turned an ember color, the three had run into their fourth wolf.

"Luna, Dusk, don't kill this one, just weaken it, I will tame it," Klaus ordered

Giving barks of understanding, the two surrounded the wolf and only gave it shallow slashes and knocked it around until the wolf did not have the energy to fight or run away.

[Low-level dire wolf detected]

[Would you like to tame: Y/N]

"yes," Klaus confirmed

With that, the same process of the magic circle, taming collar, and their marking appeared on Kluas' arm.

Looking down at the now fully healed wolf, Klaus petted its head and spoke.

"Sorry about having to hurt you like that, but I promise I will treat you well from now on. These two are your elders, so you must listen to them if I am not around," Klaus ordered

With that, the group of four continued through the sunset and the start of the night, walking through the forest. Keeping pace with the killing of goblins and most of the wolves they ran into, Klaus tamed three more wolves, ordering two to follow Luna and two to follow Dusk's command.

Soon enough, Klaus had reached level five from all the experience he was getting from the goblin kills.

"I hope to find a Village or town soon. I am getting quite tired. I know you guys need more rest and food, too," Klaus said, looking at his pack of six wolves.

As they walked further, Klaus could not help but grin as he saw the lights in the distance. Picking up his pace, he stepped closer to the lights, and to his joy, it was a small town in the distance.

"Alright, all of you, make sure to behave. Don't attack anyone unless they have bad intentions," Klaus ordered the pack.

Walking up to the town, Klaus was stopped by two men standing as gate guards.

"Halt, this is the town of Gresha. Who are you and what is your business?" one of the guards and an older gentleman spoke.

"My name is Klaus, I just want a place to rest for me and my companions and a guild," Klaus replied, jesting to his wolves.

"Sorry, but while animals are not allowed within the town,' the other younger guards said, taking out his sword.

"They are not wild animals. They were all tamed by me. And please put your weapons away, you're putting them on edge," Kalus said with a smile and closed eyes as he held his hands out to stop his growling wolves.

"Calm down, Henry. We have seen tamers with weirder animals come through. Sorry about my partner, he is new. The price to enter the town is ten copper coins," the older guard spoke.

"Very well, here you are," Klaus said, reaching into his pocket and pulling ten copper coins from his inventory.

As the two guards gave the okay to a man atop the wall, the gates opened, and Klaus walked into he town.

"Hold on, kid, if you're looking for a pet-friendly inn, go to Silverden Inn, a good friend of mine runs it with his wife. There will be a pen for your wolves, tell him Billy sent you," the guard said.

"Silver Den...Got it, thank you, sir," Klaus replied with a genuine smile as he walked deeper into the town.

"Man, that kid was dressed weird," Henry said

"Yeah, and you better learn to control your actions. The boy and other wolves may seem weak, but those two different wolves that stood next to him could probably kill you before you knew it," Billy sighed.

"Really!?... What about you? Could you take them?" Henry asked.

"Maybe...but with all six wolves and him. I will have a tough time with that,"
