"Run! We can't stop it, we can't stop it at all!"
Charlotte Linlin's roar tore through the battlefield, shaking the very air. The entire World Allied Forces fell into chaos. Soldiers scattered in panic, desperate to escape the catastrophe about to descend upon them.
But Thorne Ashveil's terrifying strike gave them no such chance.
A vast blade of golden Conqueror's Haki split through the sky, crashing toward the frozen sea below. The impact was apocalyptic. A mushroom cloud of searing light burst from the water's surface, followed by a shockwave that ripped across the battlefield with unstoppable force.
Kaido and Big Mom—standing near the heart of the explosion—were frozen in terror. The ocean around them vaporized in an instant. The spreading waves of energy twisted and warped everything they touched, merging heat, light, and gravity into a destructive storm that defied reason.
At ground zero, the Saint Mars and Saint Nusjoro, still unconscious, were the first to be erased. Their bodies disintegrated under the torrent of Conqueror's Haki, shredded from the inside out.
Those farther away watched in horror. Even they, the mighty Gorosei, knew they could do nothing but flee. The three who survived ignited the last sparks of their Haki, forcing their battered bodies into motion as they retreated into the sky.
The battlefield descended into madness. Queen, Cracker, and the rest of the Big Mom Pirates ran for their lives. Queen, despite his enormous size, moved with shocking speed, transforming into his Brachiosaurus form to gain ground. He glanced back once, and his massive face twisted with terror.
No matter how far they ran, the storm was faster.
Katakuri, sprinting beside Cracker, could already see their fate. His Observation Haki glimpsed a future drenched in annihilation. "Cracker… no matter how far we go, we can't escape this."
He saw the truth—the United Army would be swallowed whole.
The energy radiating from Ashveil's attack moved faster than thought itself. Even Admiral Kizaru, usually unbothered and aloof, was drenched in sweat as he pushed his Glint-Glint Fruit to its limits. His body blurred into pure light as he muttered in disbelief, "We're done for… that man is too terrifying!"
Around them, countless powerhouses were consumed by the storm. Fujitora and Ryokugyu, new to the Marine ranks, were caught by a surge of golden energy and slammed into the sea, bones cracking under the pressure before the waves swallowed them whole.
Kaido and Linlin, though powerful enough to rule the New World, were helpless before the chaos. Even Kaido's massive Azure Dragon form and Linlin's thundercloud Zeus couldn't save them. Tornadoes of mixed elements—fire, ice, lightning, and tremor energy—raged around them. Kaido's scales seared away as molten magma scorched his face, forcing him to revert to human form with a pained howl. Linlin's right leg shattered under the force of tremor energy, her body twisting in agony as she screamed.
The two Emperors of the Sea—once feared as gods—were reduced to wretched silhouettes within the storm.
Linlin's mind raced with regret. She had no real grudge with Ashveil. It had been greed that brought her here—greed for the Sea Stones of Fish-Man Island and the treasures of Wano. Kaido had convinced her this war was worth it. Now, she realized how foolish that had been.
Kaido, clutching his bleeding face, roared in despair. He finally understood—he should have been thankful that Ashveil once spared his life. To stand against that man was pure suicide. Thorne Ashveil was a being who had surpassed the Pirate King himself.
Far above, Vice Admiral Garp dashed through the sky with Moonwalk, his steps cracking the air beneath him. He looked back at the cataclysm below: tornadoes twisting with lightning, ice shattering like glass, and Marines scattering like ants. His weathered face darkened. "To think the justice of the Marines could be reduced to this… by one young man."
"Garp! You idiot! Stop talking and run!" Sengoku's voice thundered nearby. The Fleet Admiral's face was pale, his golden Buddha form flickering as he strained to stay aloft. All his pride, his belief in the invincibility of Marineford—shattered. Now, survival was all that mattered.
Aokiji, gliding on a massive ice bird, tried to maintain altitude. Seeing him, Vice Admiral Tokikake shouted, "Aokiji! Take me with you!"
Aokiji sighed and lowered his ice bird, catching Tokikake midair. But the golden shockwave caught them moments later. Both men were hurled downward, blood spraying from their mouths before they vanished beneath a collapsing glacier.
One by one, the Vice Admirals fell, coughing blood, their bodies broken. Even Garp, the Hero of the Marines, couldn't escape. He clenched his fist, muscles swelling as his Armament Haki flared to its limit. He hurled a devastating punch into the storm. The air cracked like thunder.
"This old man once flattened mountains with a single strike! I won't lose to you, brat!"
His Iron Fist met the golden wave head-on—and vanished without a trace.
Garp was truly shaken. "Thorne Ashveil… are you even human?"
The sea answered him with silence. The light of the Golden Conqueror's Haki consumed everything.
