Chapter 1. The Last Words
Nemato Yusi was an ordinary person. In his youth, he lost his family and was raised by his grandfather. But when he reached the age of 25, his grandfather passed away as well. From that moment on, his life was filled with emptiness.
Years passed. Yusi lived as an ordinary office worker until the age of 37. No friends, no lover… life had never smiled upon him.
One day, there was a celebration at his workplace. That night, he met a girl. For the first time, a tiny spark of hope flickered in his heart.
But… this joy didn't last long. While returning from the celebration, a car suddenly veered off the road and hit him.
Lying on the ground, covered in blood, Yusi's entire life flashed before his eyes: losing his family, his grandfather's death, the lonely years… And just when he thought he could finally be happy, fate knocked him down again.
His lips barely moved as he whispered:
"If I were given one more chance… This time, I would do everything in my power to live happily."
The heavens, watching him from above, heard his final words… and granted him another chance.
Yusi opened his eyes. Around him was an old, small house. Two unfamiliar people were looking at him with joy.
Where… is this? he thought to himself.
He raised his hands and looked at them. Small hands, tiny feet… He didn't recognize this body.
"Am I… a baby?"
Yes, he had been reborn in a new world!
The family lived a simple life—neither rich nor poor. They had two daughters: the elder, Ella, and the younger, Elika. Now, they were his sisters.
His father, Flip, was a master swordsman. His mother, Kera, was a sorceress skilled in basic magic. The girls, meanwhile, had yet to choose their path—whether to follow the way of the sword or the way of magic.
Baby Yusi lay quietly, but in his heart, those words echoed once more:
"This time, I will definitely live happily!"
