"Starting with you?"
Luna quickly smirked, her tail flicking in amusement at his question. She moved one hand to rest against his chest, claws teasingly digging into the fabric of his shirt as she leaned in further, her lips just centimetres from his.
"Oh, yes. Starting with me. I'm here, I'm willing, and—"
She nipped his ear, voice dropping into a purr. "You just happen to be exactly my type~"
A small gasp escaped Luna's lips as Damian's hands quickly wrapped around her waist, the unexpected move catching her off guard. She let out a low, amused chuckle, her cat-like eyes narrowing in a mixture of surprise and desire.
"Oh~ someone's eager~" She nipped playfully at his ear again, her claws tracing a slow path down his chest. Her thighs pressed against his hips, her body flushed with his. Her tone lowered as she continued "Impatient, are we?"
"Your very soft,"Damian commented.
Luna's smirk deepened, her body pressing even closer as her tail playfully wound around his arm. She let out an amused purr, relishing in his touch. Her voice was a breathy whisper, the heat between them increasing.
She leaned in, her breath warm against his skin. "Mmm, and you're quite solid, aren't you? All muscle underneath that shirt…" Her fingers began slowly tracing along his chest, her touch teasing and tantalizing. She continued, the playfulness in her voice mingling with a hint of heat. "I like it."
Then, the door burst opened, Two men came in and wore knightly dress and held swords.
Luna didn't even flinch, she merely sighed in irritation, her ears twitching as she casually turned her head toward the intruders. She stayed comfortably seated on Damian's lap, not bothering to move an inch despite their shocked expressions.
One of the knight's face flushed crimson as he got note of Luna's position. "P-President?! A-And Prime Minister Luna?! What in the gods' name—"
Luna's voice dripped with casual annoyance as she waved a hand dismissively. "Unless this kingdom is literally on fire, get out."
One of the knights sputtered incoherently while the other stammered before bowing hastily and dragging his companion back out, slamming the door behind them.
Luna, Now alone again with Damian, she smirked down at him. "...Where were we?"
"Don't we think we should hear them," Damian said as he slowly removed his hands from Luna's waist. "Don't want to be seen as a bad president."
Luna rolled her eyes, but her smirk remained as she reluctantly moved off Damian's lap. She sighed in mock-exasperation before replying. Though her tail remained curled possessively around his arm.
"Fine, fine. But if they don't have a damn good reason to barge in like that," her eyes narrowed, gaze flickering to the door. "They better be prepared to grovel."
"come in," Damian ordered the knights, with a sigh of relief.
The door creaked open hesitantly, the two knights peering in with nervous expressions. One cleared his throat awkwardly before stepping forward.
One of knights spoke up, still flustered but trying to regain professionalism. "A-Apologies for the interruption, President Damian! But there's urgent news—the eastern border is reporting goblin raiders attacking trade caravans!"
Luna's ears twitched in mild annoyance as she leaned against Damian's desk. "And that couldn't wait five more minutes? Really?" She muttered under her breath."...Goblins. Annoying little pests."
"Their numbers, any details on it?" Damian asked.
The knight straightened up, clearly relieved that Damian was taking the matter seriously despite the... interruption. He cleared his throat again before reporting.
"Our scouts estimate at least fifty raiders—possibly more. They're hitting merchant routes along the Blackpine Pass. Worse yet…" He hesitated, glancing at Luna for a second before continuing. "There are rumors that they have a leader this time."
Luna's ears perked up in interest as she finally pushed off the desk, her playful demeanor shifting to something sharper—more dangerous. "A leader? Since when do goblins organize?" She crossed her arms. "...This reeks of outside interference."
"Outside interference?" Damian said, facing Luna as she still sat on his lap.
Luna's gaze darkened, her eyes narrowing as she nodded grimly. She seemed to be turning something over in her mind, a frown tugging at the corners of her mouth.
"Yes. Goblins are scavengers. Normally, they don't have the intelligence or inclination to organize like this. But if an outside force is behind this…" She paused, then continued with a hint of a growl in her voice. "...We're looking at something much more troublesome than mere raiders. This could be the work of a dark sorcerer or an external faction."
"This is truly worrisome," Damian tapped Luna signalling her to stand up from his lap.
Luna let out a small sigh, her ears flicking slightly in irritation—but she obeyed without complaint. She slid off his lap with fluid grace, her playful demeanor now replaced with something far more serious.
Crossing her arms as she straightened up. "Worrisome indeed. Goblins acting under someone's orders means this isn't just about petty theft anymore." Her tail lashed once behind her. "Someone wants to destabilize our trade routes—maybe even our border security."
She turned to the knights, sharp authority back in her voice. "Mobilize the local garrison at once. Send word to the Blackpine settlements—tell them to fortify and prepare for more attacks until we handle this."
"Luna," Damian called out. "I should have a security council? Or any equivalent."
Luna nodded, understanding the need for a more organized response. She turned back to face Damian, her expression still serious.
"You're right. This is a matter that requires a united front. In Luminaris, we have the Security Council—it's essentially our 'cabinet' for defense and national security." She gestured absently as she spoke. "They'll need to be notified of this development and coordinate our response to the goblin raids. I can arrange a meeting if you wish."
"Arrange a meeting at once," Damian said. "And who are in the council and the position they hold?"
Luna's tail flicked as she mentally ran down the council's membership, her voice turning brisk and businesslike. "Our Security Council currently consists of five members: the Minister of Defense, the Head of Intelligence, the Commander of the Imperial Guard, the Head of the Magic Council, and the Minister of Logistics."
She paused, thinking for a moment before continuing. "It's a balanced mix of military, magical, and logistical expertise—all necessary for effectively addressing a situation like this."
She turned back to Damian, her expression serious. "Shall I send word for them to assemble?"
"Yes please, do."
Luna gave a firm nod, her businesslike tone remaining as she turned toward the door. Before leaving, she glanced back at Damian with a smirk.
"I'll have them gathered within the hour. Though... I imagine they'll be quite curious about their new president." Her smirk deepened. "Try not to flirt with any of them—the Defense Minister is particularly prickly."
With that, she slipped out the door—leaving Damian to prepare for his first Security Council meeting.
