Zane picked up the cutlery without any expression on his face.
Zane's lips curved up and his brows arched. "How did you know the doctor recommended eating vegetables for better blood circulation, brain function, and work activeness?"
Lily froze, and her expression changed. She failed. She failed again.
Lily forcibly took a deep breath. Still, it doesn't matter.
Even if the doctor said it was fine, it doesn't hide the fact that Zane doesn't like vegetables.
So even though it will help Zane, in fact, Zane will feel disgruntled in his heart. Lily tried to comfort herself with this thought.
Lily smiled and said haughtily despite that she was shedding a river of tears in her heart. "I listened to Mom, and I'm doing my job like a good wife."
Zane's eyes flickered, and he sneered inwardly. If he hadn't known what type of behavior Lily had, he would have believed it. It was obvious she was lying!
