Chapter 1 – The Celestial Seed

Darkness.

When Su Ron opened his eyes, there was nothing but a vast, endless void. No sky, no ground, no stars—only the faint outline of colossal planets drifting silently around him. Their light shimmered like distant lanterns in the abyss, yet when he looked down, his body was nowhere to be found.

"W–where am I?"

His voice echoed weakly, but there was no answer. He tried to move, and realized with horror—he was nothing but a soul, a formless consciousness wandering in the infinite blankness.

Just as panic began to stir in his chest—

Ding!

A crisp, mechanical chime rang directly in his mind.

"Congratulations, Host, for successfully time travelling into the world of Swallowed Star."

Su Ron's thoughts froze.

"…Swallowed Star?!"

His eyes widened as memories from his past life surged up. Swallowed Star… the terrifying cultivation universe where beings beyond immortality shattered star systems like glass. Where godlike entities clashed, destroying galaxies, and some even possessed the power to annihilate entire universes.

"This… this is the world I've landed in? Are you kidding me!?" His jaw dropped.

He took a deep breath. No matter how outrageous this was, despair wouldn't help. If he had a system… then maybe—just maybe—he could survive.

The voice chimed again.

Ding!

"Daily sign-in complete. Congratulations, Host, you have received the [Celestial Seed]—from the Marvel Universe."

Su Ron blinked. His soul trembled.

"…Wait. A Celestial Seed? From Marvel?"

Images of towering cosmic giants appeared in his mind—the Celestials, clad in armor, wielding power on a scale incomprehensible to mortals. Beings who forged suns, judged civilizations, and shaped galaxies.

Before he could even process this miracle, another notification echoed:

Ding!

"Congratulations, Host, for obtaining the [Scathan the Approver Template]."

Su Ron felt his soul go numb.

"…Scathan the Approver…? The strongest Celestial…?"

He remembered the legends. Scathan—the silent judge among Celestials. In the comics, it was whispered that he had once stood against the Living Tribunal, the entity capable of erasing multiverses with a thought.

"That's… beyond universe-level. That's… multiversal."

For a long moment, he just floated there, dumbfounded.

"…What the hell kind of broken luck is this!?"

Ding!

"Congratulations, Host, for unlocking [System Inventory]."

Two items materialized in front of him. A radiant sphere of energy, pulsing like a miniature sun—that was the Celestial Seed. And a golden card, engraved with the majestic figure of Scathan the Approver.

Before he could touch them, both items dissolved into streams of light and merged into his soul. His formless essence burned, transformed, reshaped—until he felt his consciousness dragged downward, pulled toward one of the planets nearby.

The orange wasteland stretched beneath him. Lifeless. Barren. Cold.

"Mars…"

His voice trembled with both awe and excitement. The Celestial Seed had taken root here. This would be his new birthplace—his cocoon. His body would slumber and grow here until he awakened as a true Celestial.

And with Scathan's template bound to him, every stage of his growth would carry unfathomable power.

Su Ron let out a shaky laugh.

"In the Swallowed Star universe, even Immortals can fall like ants… but with this system, with Scathan's power… I might one day stand above them all."

The thought of Immortal Kings, Universe Masters, and Domain Lords no longer filled him with dread. Instead, he felt a rising hunger.

The hunger… to dominate.

---

Time lost meaning.

Years slipped by like grains of sand in an eternal hourglass. Ten years, a hundred years, a thousand years… Su Ron's consciousness drifted between slumber and awakening. Every time the system chimed, new rewards awaited him.

Ding! "Congratulations, Host, for acquiring [Heavenly Star Cultivation Manual]."

Ding! "Congratulations, Host, for acquiring [Death Eyes]."

Ding! "Congratulations, Host, for acquiring [Omega Beams]."

Ding! "Congratulations, Host, for acquiring [Dark Sword of Knull]."

Ding! "Congratulations, Host, for acquiring [Buddha Palm – Suppressing Thousand Worlds]."

Treasures, techniques, and skills from countless mythologies and universes filled his inventory. At first, he was exhilarated. Later, he grew… lonely.

Sometimes the system even granted trivial mortal items—magazines, televisions, game consoles—things to distract his mind during the endless solitude of cosmic incubation.

But amidst the loneliness, his template slowly grew. Ten percent… that was all. Yet with just ten percent, he realized something terrifying.

He could already kill Immortals with a single thought. Even Immortal Kings would crumble before him like insects.

And yet—he also realized that the stronger his template became, the harder the progress would be. To reach even one percent more would take countless years.

---

One day, a ripple of energy pierced his meditation.

A spaceship descended upon Mars, its hull torn and scarred. Su Ron's divine sense swept over it and found a lone figure inside—an armored being, grievously wounded, blood staining the metal floor.

Su Ron's eyes narrowed. He recognized this man.

"Hu Yan Bo… the Immortal Marquis."

In the Swallowed Star story, Hu Yan Bo would one day become Luo Feng's teacher. And now, Su Ron watched silently as the dying Immortal used the last of his strength to seal Earth's coordinates, hiding humanity from cosmic predators.

Hu Yan Bo suddenly paused, his eyes flicking up. He had felt it—a gaze vast and suffocating, staring down upon him from beyond comprehension.

But he said nothing. He knew. If that being wished to kill him, he would already be dead.

Moments later, the Immortal Marquis drew his final breath. His body slumped into his ship's command chair, lifeless.

Su Ron's soul remained silent. He did not interfere. Not yet.

---

More millennia passed.

He watched humanity's Nirvana Era, the rise of cultivation, the struggles of survival. He waited patiently, silently growing, biding his time.

Until finally… the year 2056 arrived.

The main story began. Luo Feng entered the Elite Training Camp under the guidance of teacher Jiang Feng.

And somewhere in Base City 09, a man named Su Ron was living quietly.

Not his true Celestial body—only an avatar he had cultivated through the system. Through this avatar, he had found love. He had met a gentle woman named Jiang Feng, married her, and built a peaceful life amidst the chaos of the new era.

From endless loneliness to the warmth of family—

For the first time in countless years, Su Ron truly smiled.
