Most Pokémon fanfic gets repetitive after a region or two, or even before that. So, to make it more interesting, I had this idea. As per this idea, this Pokémon fanfic will have many things chosen randomly.
Thus,
1. The region- The main character would choose a region at random and would not follow the typical Ash route. [A/N: I have chosen the region where he will be born and complete his first journey randomly, and will also do so for future journeys.]
2. Pokémon- The main character randomly chooses a Pokémon type he will catch for that particular region. He will catch 9 types of Pokémon when he completes his journey, but 420 Pokémon have dual typing, so the type will not be limited to those 9 types. [A/N: The typing for the first region has been chosen.]
3. Ability: The ability of the chosen Pokémon will also be random.
4. Cheat-There isn't a system or anything like that, but his Pokedex will transform and will have the information that the Pokedex apps and website in our world have. For example, stats, abilities, moves, location of Pokémon and items, and so on.
Lastly, for background and starter Pokémon of the MC in the Pokémon world, give me suggestions because I am not satisfied with the one that came out when doing the random. If you guys can't give me any suggestions, then I will have to proceed with the Pokémon that was chosen randomly.
After choosing one of the regions at random. The region I got was Alola. So, the MC is either going to be born in Alola or come to Alola. He must be related to Alola like his mom or dad can be Alola, but he may be born in different region. Just give a reason for the MC to start from Alola. As for the Pokémon type, it is Ground.
Also, suggest a name for the MC. Otherwise, I would go with Milo. Apparently, it is a tree, so it will go well with the theme of Alola and Pokémon in general.
