The five elders of the Clear Sky Sect stood their ground against the three Titled Douluo from Spirit Hall. The air felt heavy with a killing intent that could freeze the blood. Even though they felt the massive pressure of their enemies, the elders did not run. They knew there was no way out of this fight. They had to fight to the very end or die trying.

The Second Elder looked at his brothers and shouted with a voice full of iron. He told them to use the Five Pointed Star Returns. This was the famous joint combat formation of the Clear Sky Sect. It was a secret technique that allowed several people to combine their spirit power into one. By using this formation, they could briefly become much stronger and fight enemies that were normally far beyond their level.

The other four elders shouted back in agreement. They moved like lightning, each taking a specific spot to form the star. They all raised their Clear Sky Hammers at the same time. The hammers were different sizes, but they all glowed with the same deep black light. As their spirit power flowed together, a huge and heavy aura rose from them. It felt like a massive mountain had appeared. For a moment, this combined power actually stopped the pressure coming from the Spirit Hall elders.

Azure Luan Douluo looked down at them with cold eyes. He did not care about their struggle. To him, they were just being stubborn. He decided to strike first. A black spirit ring, his sixth one, began to glow brightly under his feet. He pointed his fingers like a sword toward the formation.

He used his Sixth Spirit Ability called Azure Shadow Sky Split. Suddenly, the air was filled with countless wind blades. They were thin and pale green, looking as delicate as a cicada wing, but they were incredibly sharp. These blades seemed to have a mind of their own. They flew from all directions, cutting through the air at high speeds to hit the formation from every angle. It looked as if the wind itself was trying to tear the world apart.

The Second Elder and Third Elder were at the center of the star. They shouted for everyone to defend. The black light of the formation shifted and turned into a solid shield that looked like a dome. When the wind blades hit the shield, they made a terrible screeching sound. The shield shook and flickered as the blades cut deep into the black energy.

Some of the wind blades managed to curve around the front. They headed straight for the Fourth and Seventh Elders on the sides. These two elders quickly changed how they held their hammers. They used the Quake Art, one of the famous Clear Sky Nine Absolutes. They swung their hammers to create vibrations that broke the wind blades apart. It worked, but it was hard work. Their faces turned pale from the effort of blocking such a powerful Titled Douluo.

Lion Douluo started laughing loudly. He thought the defense was interesting and wanted to break it himself. He did not even bother to fully show his spirit form. He just stepped into the air and made a fist. Dark golden spirit power gathered around his hand, looking like hot, glowing magma.

He used his Fifth Spirit Ability, Lion Shakes the Mountain. He threw a single punch. There was no bright flash of light, just a ball of dark golden energy that looked like a falling star. It hit the front of the shield with a sound like a giant hammer hitting a massive bronze bell.

The ground of the palace shook as if there was an earthquake. The black shield of the elders bent inward where the punch hit. Cracks started to spread across the shield like a spiderweb. The Second Elder and Third Elder felt the shock go through their bodies. They both spat out blood and the ground under their feet cracked into pieces.

Guangling Douluo saw this and smiled. He was a man who moved with a strange, feminine grace. He raised his hand and pointed two fingers. A bright ice-blue light gathered at his fingertips. It grew longer until it looked like a crystal arrow made of ancient ice.

He used his Sixth Spirit Ability called Army Breaker. With a soft flick of his finger, the arrow vanished. It moved so fast that it seemed to skip through space. A second later, it appeared right where the cracks in the shield were the worst. The arrow was freezing cold and had a piercing power that was hard to stop.

The Second Elder saw the arrow coming and realized the danger. He screamed for everyone to put all their power into the defense. But the arrow was too fast and hit the weakest spot. It punched through the broken shield easily and flew straight toward the Fifth Elder inside the circle.

While this was happening, another battle was raging in the side hall near the Emperor's room. The room was a mess of broken stone and dust. The smell of blood filled the air, and the noise of spirit abilities exploding was constant.

Tang Xiao was covered in blood. He was swinging his Clear Sky Hammer with everything he had. He was lucky to have Ning Fengzhi behind him. The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda was giving him six different buffs, making him stronger and faster.

Because of this help, Tang Xiao was able to use the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer Method to fight against two Titled Douluo at once. He was fighting Thousand Jun Douluo and Snake Lance Douluo. He was barely holding on, but he refused to give up.

But then, a third Titled Douluo dressed in black moved in for a sneak attack. He saw a gap in Tang Xiao's defense and lunged forward with sharp, black claws. Tang Xiao felt the danger and roared, turning his hammer to block the claws.

He broke the attack, but the move left him open. Thousand Jun Douluo took the chance and slammed his staff into Tang Xiao's shoulder. Tang Xiao groaned and stumbled back, spitting more blood. His defense was falling apart, and it looked like he was about to lose.

Nearby, Sword Douluo Chen Xin was doing a bit better, but not by much. He was a level 97 Titled Douluo, which was higher than Tang Xiao. With the help of Ning Fengzhi's pagoda, his Seven Kill Sword was incredibly sharp and dangerous.

However, he was fighting three people at once: Demon Subduing Douluo, Porcupinefish Douluo, and another Titled Douluo. Even though he was strong, his hand had started to shake from the constant clashing of blades. He was like a small boat in a massive storm. He hadn't sunk yet, but the next big wave could be the end.

The battle was slowly going in favor of Spirit Hall. The main reason the defenders were still alive was Ning Fengzhi. Even though he wasn't swinging a sword, his pagoda was the heart of the team. It kept giving Tang Xiao and Chen Xin the power, speed, and defense they needed to survive. Without those buffs, Tang Xiao would have died long ago, and Chen Xin would have been overwhelmed.

Qian Renxue, who was disguised as the prince, watched the fight from the side. She was losing her patience. She looked at Ning Fengzhi and muttered about how annoying that pagoda was. She decided she would finish him off herself.

As she spoke, her entire aura changed. The calm and gentle feeling of the prince disappeared. In its place was a noble and terrifying pressure that felt both burning hot and freezing cold. She turned into a streak of golden light. She was so fast that most people couldn't even see her move. She charged straight at Ning Fengzhi. Since he was a support spirit master, he had no way to fight back in close combat.

As she flew through the air, a beautiful golden sword appeared in her hand. It looked like it was made from the essence of the sun, and it was covered in holy flame patterns. The moment she held the sword, a powerful intent filled the room. It felt like a god was coming to judge everyone.

Sword Douluo saw the golden light and the sword out of the corner of his eye. He recognized it as the Angelic Sacred Sword. His heart sank. He tried to go help Ning Fengzhi, but the enemies he was fighting wouldn't let him leave.

Tang Xiao also saw the attack. He screamed for Ning Fengzhi to be careful and tried to break away from his own opponents. But Thousand Jun Douluo attacked even harder, forcing Tang Xiao to focus on staying alive. He could only watch and roar in frustration.

Ning Fengzhi looked up just as the golden light reached him. The sword wasn't even there yet, but the heat and the holy pressure had already locked him in place. He couldn't move, and the light from his Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda began to fade as the attack closed in.
