Tang Chen watched as Chrysanthemum Douluo Yue Guan launched a desperate attack. This strike held all of Yue Guan's power and his deep hatred. A flood of golden petals filled the sky, looking like they would swallow everything in their path.
Tang Chen looked serious as the attack rushed toward him, but he did not try to hit it head-on. He knew his limits. He had just used the explosion of two hundred thousand year spirit rings back-to-back.
While that gave him enough power to badly hurt two Titled Douluo, it also drained his energy quickly. His body felt heavy from the strain. It was not smart to trade blows with a Titled Douluo who had gone completely mad. His real goal was to save the two great Spirit Beasts, not to die fighting the people from Spirit Hall.
Just as the golden storm was about to crush him, a red light glowed on Tang Chen's right arm. In an instant, a solid barrier appeared around him. It was the Paragon Golden Barrier. This was a life-saving Divine Skill from the hundred thousand year Spirit Bone he received from Xiao Wu. It provided him with an absolute defense.

As soon as the change was done, her sixth spirit ring started to glow with a scary red light. She used her sixth Spirit Ability called Eternal Wound. This was one of her strongest attacks. It was famous because the injuries it caused would almost never heal. It could even go right through a person's defense. A green light flashed in her eyes.
She raised her front spider legs, which were now like sharp spears. She crossed them and swung them through the air. Two red energy blades shaped like a cross appeared. They were only as thick as a human arm, but they were packed with power.
They did not make a loud noise, but they were so strong that the air around them seemed to twist. The blades flew through the sky in a strange path. They moved instantly across the distance and hit the Titan Giant Ape and the Sky Azure Bull Python just as the two beasts were trying to stand up.
