"Madman! You really are a madman!" Tianmeng Ice Silkworm muttered. But then, a sense of uncontrollable excitement filled its voice as it continued. "But... hehe, it seems... quite thrilling! Bibi Dong is indeed very strong, but with my million year spirit ring, your strange spirit abilities, and that Ring Explosion move you just learned from someone... you might actually have a chance!"

"Those two big guys look like they are about to die, which makes them perfect for us to take," the silkworm added. "Their power and quality are definitely the best among Hundred Thousand Year Spirit Beasts! They would be the perfect starting spirit rings for your Second Spirit!"

"This is much better than looking around the Extreme North Land for no reason! After all, it is very hard to find even one Spirit Beast like this normally, let alone finding two at the same time that are both almost dead!"

Just as Tang Chen was about to move, Tianmeng Ice Silkworm seemed to get worried. It suddenly remembered a big problem and shouted in his mind, "Wait! Tang Chen! Don't go yet! I just thought of a big problem!"

"You don't have your Second Spirit yet! You have the spot for it, but you don't have a specific spirit form, so how can you take spirit rings? Even if you steal those two big guys from that woman, you will just be standing there with nothing to do! Spirit rings disappear after they leave a body for a short time!"

The silkworm felt that Tang Chen was too excited and forgot this basic rule. Without a spirit to hold them, even the best spirit rings would just fade away. However, Tang Chen's reaction was not what it expected.

"Who told you I was going to take their spirit rings right now?" Tang Chen's voice was calm and steady, as if he had already thought of everything. "My plan is to rescue them from Bibi Dong first."

"Rescue them?" Tianmeng Ice Silkworm was shocked.

"That's right. With their injuries, they will surely die if no one helps them. But I can make them stable first," Tang Chen explained while moving quickly toward the fight. "I still have several high-quality herbs I got from the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. Keeping them alive for a while will not be a problem at all."

"When the time is right, I will put them in a safe place," he continued. "Then, we will go straight to the Extreme North Land so you can help me get my Second Spirit. Once I have it, I will come back and take these two spirit rings that are already waiting for me. Wouldn't that be a safer way to do it?"

This plan sounded like a perfect series of steps. It solved the problem of not being able to take the rings right now while making sure no one else got them.

Tianmeng Ice Silkworm was quiet for a moment, surprised by Tang Chen's smart plan. It thought about it carefully, and then a very bold idea came to its mind.

"Tang Chen, maybe... maybe we don't even need to hunt them," the silkworm said with excitement. "I have a very bold idea. Maybe I can try... to talk them into sacrificing themselves to you?"

"Sacrifice?" Even Tang Chen was surprised by this, and he slowed down for a second. He knew what sacrifice meant. It was when a Spirit Beast willingly gave up its life and soul to give all its power, spirit rings, and spirit bones to a Spirit Master.

When a Spirit Master took a sacrificed spirit ring, there was almost no danger, and the power they gained was at its very best. But getting two proud, dying Hundred Thousand Year Spirit Beasts to sacrifice themselves to a human they just met sounded impossible. It sounded even harder than taking them from Bibi Dong.

"You... can really talk them into that?" Tang Chen asked, feeling doubtful.

Tianmeng Ice Silkworm's voice sounded mysterious. "The reasons for this are hard to explain, and I can't tell you everything right now," it said. "The most important thing is that you must save them from that mean woman first! As long as they are alive, we have a chance! Hurry!"

The silkworm seemed to really believe it could work. But first, they had to save them.

"I understand." Tang Chen stopped asking questions. His eyes turned sharp, and he let out all his spirit power as he shot toward the battlefield.

At the center of the fight, the loud explosions and energy began to fade away. Er Ming, the Titan Giant Ape, and Da Ming, the Sky Azure Bull Python, were once the kings of the Star Dou Great Forest. Now, they lay in a huge hole in the ground, barely alive.

Er Ming's chest was moving very slowly. His dark fur was covered in blood and poison. Da Ming's tail had stopped bleeding because he had almost no blood left. His large eyes were half-closed, with only a tiny bit of fight left in them.

Bibi Dong looked at the two beasts and smiled coldly. Her Death Spider Emperor form moved forward slowly. Her eight long legs made a scary sound as they walked over the broken ground.

Chrysanthemum Douluo and the other four Titled Douluo felt a bit better now. They spread out, staying careful in case the beasts tried one last attack.

However, right then, a bright golden light suddenly filled the sky above the forest. The light was not painful to look at, but it felt very pure and powerful. It quickly cleared away the evil feeling in the air.

"An enemy attack?!" one shouted. "Get ready!"

The five Titled Douluo moved very fast and stood together to defend themselves. They let out their spirit power and looked toward the light with worried faces. Even Bibi Dong stopped her attack and turned around. She felt a very strong power that made her feel a bit nervous.

In the middle of this tense moment, a calm and powerful voice spoke to everyone. "It is me."

As he spoke, the golden light faded, and a man appeared in the air. He wore a simple gold robe and had long gold hair. His face looked like he was middle-aged, but his eyes looked very old and wise.

He did not have any spirit rings showing, and he did not seem to be trying to look scary. He just stood there, looking like the most important person in the world. He was the High Priest of Spirit Hall, Angel Douluo—Qian Daoliu.

"Greetings, High Priest!" the five Titled Douluo said together. They stopped being tense and showed him great respect, bowing low. They were afraid of him and did not want to be disrespectful.

At this moment, Bibi Dong looked very upset. She had planned for everything, but she never thought this Qian Daoliu would be a fake.
