Ficool

LITTLE BIRD.

CHAPTER THREE

THEO'S POV.

"Hmm," I sighed, stepping out of the car, luggage in hand, as I made my way towards the apartment assigned to me.

Modest yet refined. Polished wooden floors stretched beneath sleek, modern furniture. It wasn't the luxury I was used to before I moved here but it would do.

I unpacked in silence, each item I placed a reminder that I wasn't supposed to be here. But when your Beta vanishes without a word on a high-level mission, you don't sit and twiddle your thumbs, you infiltrate the only place likely to hold the answers: Prescott College.

No one knew who I was here. And that's exactly how it needed to stay.

After brooding for far too long, I decided to step out of the apartment for fresh air and use the opportunity to get to know the school grounds.

I might need this knowledge later in the future. As I stepped out, I noticed it was already dark, so I looked at my watch to check the time, only to see it was past 8pm.

I tucked my hands inside my pockets and began strolling. Come to think of it, I didn't even bother to undress and freshen but I guess that doesn't matter now.

At first, my surroundings were so quiet and dark till I took some further steps forward, only to see a dim light from afar, and with my super hearing, I caught the whispers of people, or should I say students?

I inched closer, wanting to peek but only got my jaw dropping as I saw right in front of me, a large bonfire with students dancing around it in merry, twirling, and singing as beautiful fireflies clouded the moment.

Before I could stop myself, a smile formed at the corner of my lips and I began to get closer.

'Finally something interesting to catch my attention.' I thought, glancing around only to notice someone sitting alone by the corner of the bonfire, still facing it.

She looked like she was trembling, her hands wrapped around herself.

'Was she cold or sick?' I pondered, and without thinking, my legs brought me closer to her, only to catch the sounds of her sniffling and crying.

"And what are you doing out here all alone, in tears?" I found myself asking and she shook like I had startled her, before swinging her head to face me.

My eyes widened in shock at the beauty in front of me. I watched as she took in a sharp breath due to our faces being almost so close to one another.

Her hair was long, wavy, and white in color, beautiful and cascading down her back, with her eyes as red as those of a vampire, followed by her cherry-red lips that surprisingly looked swollen.

'Did she just get kissed or is she waiting to be kissed?' I found myself wondering and hid a chuckle.

"Kill me." She whispered, and I wanted to recoil in shock, but just furrowed my brows at her in disbelief.

First, she was crying. Her tear-stained face, incredibly tempting. I suddenly felt this urge to make her cry more.

So she looks sad and wants me to kill her. Was she contemplating suicide? Who hurt her that much?

For some unknown reason, my heart skipped a beat at that moment so I decided to sit beside her after she ignored me.

As I talked, asking about the bonfire because it brought back some cherished memories, I watched her out of the corner of my eye.

Her little actions, the way she tried not to cry or hide her puffy eyes from me. I was beyond attracted and found myself kissing her, I expected her to remove her lips and slap me like other women would.

But I guess she was not like other women because she reciprocated and even got on my lap, telling me to make her forget.

Forget what? That didn't matter; we made out, and it was in the woods.

We were both just too needy to care about when and it delighted me so much to find out that I was her first.

Seeing this, I plan to be her last, mate or not. After we were done, I watched as she sat up and slowly got dressed. I tried touching her, but she flinched like I had burned her.

Perhaps she was regretting it now but why does the thought of that make my blood run cold?

"I am sorry." I apologized and she just hummed.

"For what? We both wanted this I guess." She commented and I let out a sigh of relief that I never realized that I was holding.

"Please, can you take me home?" She asked and I raised up my head to see her standing above me, fully dressed, while I was still on the floor, in my shirt, rather unclad.

I noticed her posture wasn't straight and her face was twisted into fatigue. I immediately got dressed and took her into my arms, about to take her home but;

Not before burying my head into her neck to kiss and sniff her body scent again. It calmed my heavy blood, and I wanted to lie her on the ground again, but held myself.

"Where do you stay?" I asked as I brought her into my car.

"The school dorm, not too far from here." She muttered drowsily before closing her eyes to go to sleep, and soon enough, I began to hear cute little sounds of someone snoring.

I parked in front of her dorm, couldn't bear to wake her up for her room number and keys, so I just searched through her purse and luckily I found them.

She felt weightless as I carried her into my arms and into her dorm.

I laid her on the bed, slowly peeling her clothes off, before ransacking her wardrobe for her nightie.

I came across her panties and felt the urge to sniff them, but then reminded myself that I wasn't a pervert, so what exactly about this young lady was sending my blood rushing?

It's a good thing she is a student here, which means it wouldn't be hard to see her again. As I got dressed, I looked around the room, finding it warm, cozy and so like her.

I was about to get up from her bed when she suddenly grabbed my hand tightly, her fingers digging into my flesh.

"P-p-please, d-don't leave me." Happiness crawled into my heart and I thought she was talking to me till;

"David." She called out his name and began to sweat profusely, while wiggling on the bed like some worm.

I used my handkerchief to clean off her face, before giving her a peck and hug to soothe her.

When I saw she was relaxed, I ran to the nearby convenience store to get her water and aspirin for the next morning when she woke up, in case she got a headache.

I also got some cream to rub in-between her thighs or body so she wouldn't feel any more pain or aches from the activity we had earlier.

Finally, I was done and was about to leave her dorm when my eyes caught something on the table. A lecture textbook, one belonging to my class.

Before I could stop myself, a smile began to dance at the corner of my lips.

"We shall meet sooner than expected, little bird."

The next morning, I dressed up for my first day, signed in at my office, and gathered my books for the class.

As soon as I entered, I looked around for her, ignoring the whispers from my students.

Then I saw her.

Middle row. Pale and perfect, eyes wide in confusion as the noise built.

Her jaw dropped so hard I thought it might actually hit the floor. I could see the flush rise to her cheeks and I was pretty sure she was going to combust from embarrassment.

Our eyes met and she quickly looked away, pretending to be fascinated by the scribbles on her notebook.

Ah, yes.

It was HER

The girl who moaned my name at 3 AM.
