Outside the animal-skin shed, Waldo, Liyi Yi, and several hosts waited in tense silence. The air was thick with anticipation, every pair of eyes fixed on the massive rock platform slowly descending in the distance. The enormous slab hovered over the barren beast that served as its mount, lowering with deliberate weight, stirring dust into the dry wind.
"People are coming," one of the original hosts murmured, his voice steady but edged with caution.
"The person controlling that rock platform… must be at least Tier Six," another whispered, his expression grave.
Waldo's brows furrowed. "Be careful. We still don't know what their true intentions are," he warned quietly. His tone carried the authority of someone who had seen cities rise and fall. "If they're here to annex the Tenth-Floor City, or to snatch something from us, we must be prepared."
