Rebecca gulped; she has to watch the whole documentary type presentation on it for more than 3 times till now. She probably has beef with that screen by now.
"As for you, Hina." Miss Lucy said as her gaze went to me. "Would you enlighten me on why your late?"
I smiled awkwardly as she asked that. "Well…uhh…the children…uhh, Yame's [1] friends asked me to braid my hair and well…." I pointed at my 3 braids. "This is the result…"
Miss Lucy looked at the braid before sighing. "You both are insufferable, ones bad at stealth and gets easily distracted while the other likes to slack off." She looked at as if we were the reason she is getting headaches every single time. [2]
"Rebecca, get back here. You're not fooling anyone and not sneaking out from your presentation." Miss Lucy called out to Rebecca who had almost escaped.
"You mean 'Torture' right?" She said, her tone having clear dislike to that presentation. It's probably been 5 times or so. No wonder she has such dislike to that. Even I would crash out on that.
"If that's 'torture' for you then start hiding better." Miss Lucy retorted back and Rebecca frowned, it's not really any surprise that she's bad at hiding or stealth at this rate.
"Come on, teach. Just this once, pretty pleaseeee." Rebecca whined a bit, I guess.
Miss Lucy shook her head a no. "You know what; you both are assigned on a mission from tod-"
"Excuse me, WHAT?!" both me and Rebecca almost yelled at the same time. "You can't just send us to a mission! Heck, it's our first one ever!" Rebecca told and I aggressively nodded my head, agreeing with her.
"…sigh... Listen here you br- I mean, students. You both agreed that you will go on a mission or so. I see no issues." Miss Lucy simply told as if she didn't crack our brains.
Rebecca frowned and I just sighed, no way going out now. "What even is this mission?" I asked.
"Nothing too hard, it utilizes both your skills that you both exceed at. Rebecca's acting and Hina's stealth works perfectly!" She replied.
"What even is it though?" Rebecca asked as Miss Lucy didn't tell what the actually was.
"Just some mere information collecting for this guy…" She paused and took out her phone, seems like she forgot about who was the client. "Guy named…Lucien? Whatever the name is, the one that the client wanted information from is hosting a banquet of sorts. Just like those typical spy movies but it's the reality and all."
Rebecca blinked as if she is wondering if she's hearing it right. "Ok let me get this straight. I will be there, as some guest of sorts and with my acting skills it would work to collect information in-directly from the person and Hina will manage to steal what so ever information that is supposed to be in some file. Am I getting that right?"
"Ting ting! You got that right!" Miss Lucy exclaimed.
"When even is this mission?" I asked
"Hmm, next week. So you both will be having training on that type on scenario for the next few days." She replied back with almost a lot of joy radiating from while Rebecca and I couldn't help but groan.
It seems this is what fate decided to throw at our faces and now we have to deal with it because it seems that Miss Lucy doesn't seem to back down from the idea of us having our first mission.
-After a week.
"…Do I seriously need to wear a dress? This fancy to top it off" Rebecca complained as she looked at the royal blue gown and heels to match the look. As for the hairstyle, it was a bun with a small rose accessory on it.
I honestly couldn't help but laugh at her salty face. Which made Rebecca's mood more salty? "Laugh it all you want…" She grumbled as she looked at my attire which seemed like something out of a spy movie but more realistic and darker because leather doesn't seem like the best thing for stealing information as my face was also covered.
"I almost envy you, looking so cool while I dress like a princess." Rebecca said as she looked at her gown again.
"Come on now, it's a banquet. You have to dress like that because that guy seems to be rich. On top, your acting skills will shine!" I exclaimed, trying to lift her mood up. "There should be good food as well."
Rebecca nodded, her salty face disappearing at the mention of food. Food fixes everything at this point.
"Either way, let's give it our best as it is our first ever mission!" I said, almost with too much enthusiasm from my voice to which Rebecca chuckled before nodding.
"Yeah, we should give it our best and eat those good food of course." She replied back.
"Don't forget to maintain your manner and remain a proper 'lady'." I joked knowing how much of a chaotic person Rebecca is.
"Yeah yeah, I get that much." She stood up. "Now, let's get going and make this a success." I nodded as I stood up as well.
Time for our first mission with the possibility of chaos happening or not.
-Outside the banquet hall.
"You know what to do, right?" I asked Rebecca who was now acting all lady like. It honestly feels so weird seeing her be like that as I've always seen her be all... Chaotic?
She nodded in response with a huge grin on her face. "Heck yeah, I am gonna make sure I will be the most charming woman for that guy."
I chuckled at that. It was really weird that the client was so sure that there would at least one woman going on in this mission, which he was correct after all; that he literally told the type of the guy he needed information on and that's how Miss Lucy managed to make Rebecca into the perfect lady in that man's eye, almost irresistible for him.
"I have, of course been turned into a proper lady through that hellish training and my acting is top notch." Rebecca paused. "And I hope that you don't get caught. Let's see how good your stealth is because Miss Lucy keeps on telling me to LEARN from you!"
I grinned as she half complained at the end. "That's because it is great. Mine's perfect and you're sloppy. Not my fault." I retorted back and Rebecca huffed in annoyance.
"Either way, it's time to part ways. Hope you obtain the files." She told as she walked to the door.
"I will! don't worry, You just get as much information from that man if he approaches you!" I called out and Rebecca nodded before entering the hall.
Now... It's my turn to do some information hunting.

[2] I guarantee you that Miss Lucy gets headache's around these two.
