Chapter 127 - Chapter 127: Feels Like Playing a Game

William gently put down the bearded man, took out two Glock 17s from his storage space, attached silencers, and tucked them under his left and right armpits. He then walked out of the tent and quietly crept towards the guards, using the fog as cover.

His current strength already exceeded that of a normal person by five or six times; he could snap a person's neck with one hand. He quietly approached behind two guards, and a mental scan revealed that both guards had guns tucked into their waistbands.

Since they weren't ordinary workers, William didn't need to hold back. He suddenly grabbed the necks of the two guards who had their backs to him, squeezed his fingers, and heard two distinct snaps. The two guards slumped down. Grabbing them by their collars, he dragged them into the makeshift house.

After hiding the bodies, William had just stepped out of the tent when a bald man with a gun rushed in. Upon seeing William, he immediately raised his gun and fired at him. The enclosed makeshift house was instantly filled with the "bang, bang, bang" of gunfire.

William, seeing the bald man raise his gun, dodged into the tent, drawing the Glock 17 from under his arm. He recognized the sound of a 1911 in the opponent's hand and silently counted the gunshots. He wasn't going to engage in a shootout with these desperate men. With mental scanning, William quickly realized that the bald man had run out of bullets and was frantically reloading.

Holding the Glock, he stepped out of the tent, smiled at the terrified bald man, and shot him in the head. With a "whoosh," a large spray of blood erupted from the back of the bald man's head, splattering several meters away.

The sudden gunshots caused everyone in the makeshift house to scream and panic. The pleasure-seekers frantically grabbed their clothes and ran out of the tent, crouching low as they rushed out.

William didn't bother with these ordinary workers. He scanned everyone on the scene with his mental power. As soon as he detected someone with a gun, he took them down. Twenty-odd seconds later, only the 20-plus terrified girls remained in the makeshift house, along with seven or eight burly men whose heads had been blown open.

Once William confirmed there was no more threat, he reloaded with a fresh magazine and cautiously scanned outside the makeshift house. The dense fog outside was perfect for William to ambush. Sensing no other armed thugs with his mental power, he quickly walked out of the makeshift house.

The makeshift house was too large a target, and such a structure certainly couldn't withstand an AK's spray. Just a few AKs focusing fire would surely turn him into a sieve, and there were also those 20-plus innocent girls in the room; they would 100% be caught in the crossfire if he engaged in a shootout.

William, this scoundrel, with his mental power, could scan and perceive everything within a range of tens to hundreds of meters even with his eyes closed. Using the fog and the surrounding construction buildings, sand piles, and earth pits as cover,

William, the shameless guy, kept ambushing from the shadows, picking off the Albanians who rushed over in a panic after hearing the gunshots from the makeshift house, without needing to engage in a direct shootout.

After blowing the heads off seven or eight people, the Albanians were terrified by William, the unseen ghost, and no one dared to charge anymore. They huddled together in groups of two or three, holding AKs and indiscriminately firing at places they perceived as dangerous.

This situation immediately made William duck behind a cement block. He didn't have the courage to go head-to-head with a dozen AKs. Lying on the ground, he didn't forget to put on body armor, and not just one, but two layers. He knew that current body armor couldn't stop AK rounds, so he felt a bit safer after putting on two layers.

His mental power wasn't invincible either; the scanning range hadn't reached 100 meters yet. At this distance, the AK's power was at its maximum. Getting hit by one shot would definitely incapacitate him immediately. Even with the system, William would be useless; he wasn't the Hulk, impervious to bullets.

The two sides were in a stalemate for a few minutes. William, lying behind the cement block, observed quietly for a few minutes. He noticed that all these guys were now squatting with their guns tens of meters away from him. After some thought, William took out several flashbangs from his storage space, pulled the pins, and threw four of them around himself.

When the Albanians saw movement from William's side, they again indiscriminately fired wildly around William, shouting words William didn't understand. A few bullets even hit the cement block William was lying behind, almost hitting him.

After waiting a few seconds, he suddenly heard someone scream, followed by shouts. It seemed some Albanians had been accidentally hit.

This brought a chuckle to William. Taking advantage of the thugs stopping fire to reload, he got up and crawled towards a few Albanians hiding behind a mining vehicle not far away. He needed to deal with these closest AK-wielding guys first.

After crawling for more than twenty meters, William stealthily hid behind a dirt mound.

After scanning again with his mental power, William pinpointed the positions of the three Albanians.

He circled the dirt mound and quietly snuck a few meters behind the three men.

Once he could roughly make out their figures, William took out several throwing knives and flung them at the three men's heads.

"Thud, thud, thud" – three bodies fell to the ground.

The three Albanians collapsed without making a sound.

William had more confidence in his throwing knives than in a gun.

He crept over to the three men, checked their three AKs, picked out the one in the best condition, and took five magazines.

Using the fog and the surrounding cover, he slowly advanced towards the other Albanians.

William moved very cautiously, sensing every few meters.

He didn't want to get shot; a single hit from an AK would incapacitate a man.

After sneaking for over ten meters, William sensed two groups of about ten people each, hunkering down with their guns not far from him.

These men seemed terrified by the sudden dense fog and William's elusive tactics.

Over 20 of their comrades had died, yet they hadn't even caught a glimpse of William, so these two groups were guarding two different directions, not daring to show their heads.

William saw that these men were holding their AKs and holding their ground, which left him with no good options.

He thought for a moment; over ten minutes had already passed, and the police should be arriving soon.

He didn't have much time left.

Thinking this, William no longer worried about Claude's advice to keep a low profile.

He took out two grenades from his storage space, pulled the pins, and held them in his hands.

After a mental count of one second, he threw them.

With the help of the Mage's Hand, the two grenades landed precisely in the center of the two groups.

Less than two seconds after hitting the ground, the two grenades exploded one after another with two loud booms, the close-range explosion of two military grenades directly flattening over a dozen of the enemy.

After confirming, with his mental power, that these dozen or so people were either dead or wounded, William slung the AK onto his back, drew two Glocks, and moved in.

He continuously fired at the still-living individuals, ensuring each one took a shot to the head before William finally relaxed.

Carefully sensing his surroundings with his mental power, and after confirming there were no Albanians left, he dispelled the fog.

With the AK on his back, he climbed the dirt slope and used binoculars to check if the police were approaching in the distance.

He wanted to see how much time he had left.

If he had plenty of time, he would go help the more than 20 girls.

If time was short, he would definitely slip away immediately.

To William's surprise, he didn't see any police, but he did see four SUVs rapidly approaching his position.
