The corridor suddenly felt… heavy.
The two boys felt their breathing slow.
Like something invisible was pressing against their chests.
Rowan's eyes glowed faintly blue.
"You're blocking my path."
"And I'm not in the mood to be patient."
"This… this incident—so what if you're impatient? What are you going to do?" Vincent sneered.
Before either of them could react, Rowan stepped forward—but then, from behind, a presence moved faster than thought.

The back of both boys' necks was struck. They collapsed instantly, unconscious on the ground.
"Imbeciles," Rowan muttered as he walked past them.
"They're still very young… look at what they worry about at this age."
