"You've been gone for so long! You have to tell me more!" Mike beamed while the dragons beside Kemal were keeping a disinterested expression.
"I've been through a lot. Maybe it's not appropriate to mention it now?" He suggested knowing there's multiple ears paying more attention to their words than they ever would.
"How have you been! What about your new boyfriends! I'm surprised that you out of all people would get one, let alone two!" Prince Kioshi beamed innocently while Kemal smiled knowing the two dragons eagerly awaited his response.
"Oh that's too personal to say around people.." He could practically feel their tails drop.
SO NOSY!
"What about you? Any lovers?" Kemal smiled but Mike shook his head. "No, I've been mainly looking for.. You know." The prince lowered his voice all hush hush like while Kemal smirked.
He grew up so much! Maybe I shouldn't have sheltered him so. Should I let him stay here?
While pondering his next move he slowly turned his head towards the direction of the wall making not just Mike turn with him but also the dragon men beside him.
"What are we looking at!" Prince Kioshi beamed while Kemal shook his head. "I thought I saw him."
"Who?" Katil asked. "I don't know." Kemal quickly dismissed. "So secretive.." Kier commented.
"So curious!" Mike grinned. "So clingy." Kier spat. "Indecent." His brother glared.
Okay now what's with the slander!
"He-" Kemal suddenly flinched when something slightly heavy was put on his head.
With hands and arms extended Prince Kioshi placed his jeweled crown on top of his friend's head. "I got this for you!"
There was an undeniable sparkle filling Kemal's eyes, his hands were shaking as he reached towards his new headwear. "For.. Me.." He gasped out his hands shuddering at the touch of the gold.
A real.. CROWN!!!
"Yes! I knew you'd like it!!" Mike clasped his hands together in a more royal manner while his friend before him was smiling from ear to ear. "I remember how much you love them, I could get you more! Maybe a few dresses!"
At that suggestion Kemal's heart exploded with a thousand praises and prayers. "I shall consider." He wasn't about to unravel his more feminine side to the hulkiest men he's ever met.
"I wish I could give you all of my jewels too but I'm not certain how to take these off." Mike hummed while tugging at his necklace when suddenly the other patted his chest with a smile. "Try not to lose the clothes on your back over me."
"I did it for someone else already!"
"That's nice." Kemal sweetly responded, assuming he was joking.
Prince Kioshi got up. "Well I have to prepare now for the awakening!"
With their final waves the prince ran off the twins immediately stationing themselves to sit on both of Kemal's sides.
With a chuckle he leaned forth on the table pushing aside a glass of water.
PAUSE, WHAT DID HE SAY!? MIKE!

"I wonder what they were talking about… I guess the crown was for him."
"You know them?" The blondie questioned.
"Something along those lines." Mikel suggested.
"So you know a rich guy! Awesome!"
His eyes suddenly twitched at the mention of wealth.
He quickly reached out to cover the blonde's lips when he saw a large Pegasus fly by. It landed among the royals sniffing out the area before galloping through.
Whispers emerged from the crowds.
"Is that the missing son? Returning home so casually.."
Their words did not deter the grown pegasus from detransforming back into his usual form.
"Hey, if I may ask." Mikel whispered. "I noticed that there's a few people with their eyes fully covered, why is that?"
Can they not see?
"That's a more complicated matter." Sun tilted his head in thought. "From what I know it is to cover their eyes."
Really.
"But eyes carry different meanings, lack of pupils can equal either power or lack of."
"How can it equal both?" He questioned an obvious loophole. "Your pupils, they are a nice middle ground over how much control you have. If it's gone it means you lack it."
"Lack of control?" He looked at the two dragons besides Kemal. "You're telling me they're out of control?"
"Something along those lines, they aren't gonna go savage and bite everyone's head off, but their powers are so to speak a mess."
"A mess? They look pretty fine to me.." Although their bodies seemed naturally larger than everyone he had seen.
"That's because that's what they chose to display." The blonde pointed. "They look very human right? Just a tail and wings poking out. It looks quite cosmetic."
"They're still royals, remember that. They have to look as normal as possible, but their magic needs space, it needs to spread across their bodies. But there's barely any room for it."
"So they force themselves to look this appealing?"
"Yes, aren't they all?" Sun beamed.
"Even you?" Mikel smirked.
"What about me!?" He gasped, clearly offended.
"Oh nothing, just a handsome strong man, what was it? Blonde over brunettes? Muscles over hips? Forest over dirt?"
The man's face flushed red. "Why do you remember that.."
"Hard not to. So you know so much?" Mikel rolled his eyes.
"Your sun knows everything! Its watchful eye sees everything."
"Then what's with that depressed couple over there."
The blonde tilted his head to follow the man's eyes. "Ah yes, their son just recently went missing. That big black head is a well known fire warrior, no surprises there that he would be invited. His wife seems extra depressed."
"If I may ask." Mikel interrupted. "Define wife."
The blonde suddenly burst out laughing. "You don't know what wife means! Oh man, you really are a mess!"
Just answer..
"The wife is the side that births the children and therefore in return they get an easy life with no more worries."
"Wo…man…" Mikel sounded out without being too obvious. "Woah man?"
"Wooo..mannn.." He repeated.
"I don't get it." Sun shrugged.
I guess women really aren't in this world, then who's Lynn?
He was about to mention the mysterious woman's name when he suddenly realised something. "You said people can't detect us? How."
"Gems!" He beamed.
"Go on.."
Sun suddenly tilted his head. "Why do you know so little.."
"Why do you know so much?" Mikel retorted knowing it really wasn't exactly a smart choice of words.
"Gems, you use them to take someone else's ability and then benefit from it yourself!"
Sun explained holding out a ruby gem but Mikel could feel himself get tired.
Knowledge is power but why does it have to be so boring! I should've read those crappy novels with him when I had the chance, he's definitely laughing at me from there..
Just as he was wallowing in his own self pity he raised his head only to lock eyes with Kemal.
His body tenses up and he quickly ducked behind the wall confusing the other. "Relax, no one can see us."
Mikel held onto his chest, his heart pounding wildly. Why was he so scared?
