The barefoot giant's eyes flickered, but he shook his head slightly.

Hong stood alone atop the Planet Tower, spear in hand, overlooking the city.
"My comprehension of the Law of Light is nearly perfect. The threshold of Time is right before me, yet I still can't achieve enlightenment."
His gaze sharpened.
Taking a deep breath, he roared:
"Blood Sword!"
"Do you dare come out and fight me?!"
The shout, empowered by the strength of a ninth-level stellar warrior, spread like a Category 20 hurricane throughout the city and across the surrounding wilderness.
"Since it's the final day..."
"Radiance, I shall decide life and death with you!"
From the far side of the city, a blood-red streak of light shot into the sky, heading toward the Planet Tower.
At the same time, in World Zone One, Luo Feng also set off to challenge the world-zone champion, the super genius Wulun.
Across every world zone, the final day had become a stage for battles among supreme geniuses.
Only World Zone Eleven was different.
The enormous Glass City stood empty.
A lone black-haired man in white battle robes sat atop the tallest building, supporting his chin with both hands and waiting in boredom for the competition to end.
"I wonder how things are going over there."

The red-haired youth's face remained resolute. His blood-red sword unleashed hundreds of sword rays across the sky.

The sound of metal striking metal echoed endlessly.
Hong's Aurora Silver Star Spear thrust and swept continuously. Empowered by his domain, he pushed his speed to its limit.
"Haha! To meet an opponent like you on the final day of the preliminaries—I have no regrets!"
"Light!"
With a thrust, Hong's figure blurred.
The surrounding light twisted.
In an instant, more than a dozen afterimages appeared and charged forward.
"Perfect timing!"
Facing Hong's full eruption of the Law of Light, Blood Sword showed no fear.
Instead, his fighting spirit soared.
A single slash erupted, brilliant as a rocket streaking through the heavens, instantly covering Hong's attack range.
Boom!
The crimson sword rainbow collided with the golden spear.
A violent explosion followed.
Hong's body flew backward like a meteor.
He smashed straight through the Planet Tower.
Rumble!
After crashing through multiple structures, he struck the ground, creating a crater over two hundred meters wide.
Whoosh!
Blood Sword immediately pursued.
His sword descended toward Hong's face with chilling killing intent.
Before the blade arrived, the sword-light had already fallen.
Boom!
Hong thrust his spear forward despite his grievous injuries, charging straight back.
Bang!
At the moment Blood Sword's attack struck Hong, Hong's spear, accelerated by the Law of Light, pierced straight through Blood Sword's head.
A long weapon has its advantages.
"Attacking after but arriving first?!"
"No... Time! Time itself changed!"
As Blood Sword died, he transmitted one final message:
"Radiance... if we meet again in the arena stage, I will kill you."
Watching Blood Sword's body fall, Hong used his spear to support his battered body.
Then suddenly—
A strange wind blew past.
Wind had no form.
Yet infused with killing intent, it felt colder than a blade.
"Sorry. I'll take advantage of your hard work."
A mocking voice emerged from the wind.
A purple figure flashed by.
Although Hong sensed the danger, his heavily injured body could no longer keep up.
He barely managed to move.
Even so, a golden streak of light followed relentlessly and pierced his head.
Pfft!
With a final explosion, Hong—the current points leader—died in battle.
