Chapter 115 - Chapter 115: Hancock's Sense of Crisis

By the reef.

Rayleigh mentioned taking Luffy to Marine Headquarters to send a signal. Bahr immediately recognized it as the "3D2Y" agreement and showed no interest.

What did interest him was Nami, who had been sent flying to a small Sky Island. She could use this time to learn some real skills.

Then Rayleigh mentioned needing a secluded training location afterward and hoped Hancock could arrange it. However, Hancock's mind was entirely on Bahr, so she barely paid attention and simply turned her face away indifferently.

It wasn't until Bahr spoke up that she relented, agreeing to let Rayleigh take the Straw Hat Boy to an uninhabited island affiliated with Amazon Lily.

The island was far from the main Kuja Island, surrounded by hidden reefs. Aside from occasional sea beasts, few ever set foot there—precisely the place where Luffy trained in the original story.

Once the arrangements were settled, Bahr turned to Miss Valentine. "Go tell Enel that if any of you are interested, you can sit in when this old man teaches Haki. Better than being bored on the ship."

With that, he glanced at Rayleigh. "No objections?"

Rayleigh chuckled, shaking his flask. "What I teach is just the basics. A few more listeners won't hurt."

Bahr said nothing more, taking Hancock's hand and leaving.

As for asking Rayleigh about Conqueror's Haki Coating… He already had Hancock by his side—a "teacher" who understood both theory and practice. Why bother seeking out some old man when he lacked the motivation to train anyway?

Rayleigh watched the two walk away, took a sip of his drink, and muttered with a low laugh, "This kid sure knows how to take advantage of what's right in front of him."

Luffy rubbed his stomach, looking at Rayleigh, then at Bahr's retreating figure, scratching his head in confusion. Everyone seemed to be talking about complicated things.

On the throne in Kuja Palace, Hancock curled her fingers, biting her nails, her snake-shaped earrings swaying slightly with her restless movements.

The scene from the beach kept replaying in her mind—Miss Valentine and Porche clinging to Bahr's arms, their intimate gestures like thorns piercing her heart.

"Lord Bahr said he'd go with them…" she murmured, her expression growing darker.

What if Lord Bahr really abandoned her for those women? The thought of life without him was unbearable.

She clenched her fists tightly, nails digging deep into her palms.

No. She was the First Wife. How could she lose to those unknown women? Amazon Lily had plenty of fine girls—surely they couldn't compare?

"Snake Princess."

A clear voice interrupted her thoughts. Hancock looked up to see a blonde woman kneeling on one knee in the hall—Margaret. Dressed in the Kuja tribe's signature crop top, her eyes were full of reverence.

Hancock rose slowly, bare feet stepping onto the cold floor as she circled Margaret halfway.

This child stood tall and proud, with a heroic air between her brows. As the tribe's most capable warrior, she might just barely be worthy of Lord Bahr.

"Margaret," she stopped, her tone carrying unquestionable authority. "I have a task for you."

"Your subordinate is at your command, Snake Princess," Margaret replied, bowing her head.

"From today onwards, you will serve Lord Bahr," Hancock said, observing Margaret's stunned expression before adding, "Personally and intimately."

Margaret froze for a moment. Amazon Lily had never had rules allowing women to serve men—the only men they'd ever seen were Straw Hat Boy and Bahr.

But their tribe's customs were simple: the Snake Princess's orders were absolute. Moreover, they revered strength and held no worldly reservations about matters between men and women.

"This subordinate is willing to obey the Snake Princess's arrangements," she immediately responded with a bow, her tone unwavering.

Hancock nodded in satisfaction, a calculating smile curling at her lips.

If Lord Bahr enjoyed having women by his side, then she, as the First Wife, would personally arrange it. The women of Amazon Lily were all superior to those outside—surely they could keep his heart.

"Follow me," she said, turning toward the inner chambers, her crimson cape sweeping gracefully behind her. "I'll take you to meet Lord Bahr."

Margaret rose and followed, her mind still somewhat bewildered but firmly remembering the Snake Princess's words: no matter what Lord Bahr commanded, she would carry it out with utmost dedication.

The Kuja Palace's bathhouse was far more luxurious than she had imagined. The floor was paved with white jade so polished it reflected like a mirror. A vast pool brimmed with steaming hot spring water, its surface dotted with pink petals. Faint incense wafted through the air, and even the walls were inlaid with smooth pearls, casting the entire Space in a warm, radiant glow.

Hancock strode in without hesitation. Through the mist, she saw Bahr lounging leisurely at the edge of the pool, water droplets trickling down the defined lines of his shoulders and neck.

"Lord Bahr," she instantly softened her tone, quickening her steps toward him.

Bahr glanced up at her, a smirk playing on his lips. "You're here. Care to join me?"

"Mhm!" The moment she responded, a blush spread across her cheeks, yet she showed no hesitation. Unfastening the sash at her waist, her red cape slipped from her shoulders, and she shed her garments before stepping barefoot into the pool, the water lapping at her delicate curves.

She moved directly behind Bahr, resting her hands lightly on his shoulders, her fingers kneading with just the right pressure. "This concubine has come to serve Lord Bahr."

Bahr exhaled in satisfaction, relishing the soft touch and gentle strength behind him, a smug thought crossing his mind.

Hancock truly was the epitome of a devoted lover. Once she set her heart on someone, she gave herself entirely, without reservation. Gone was the haughtiness of the Amazon Lily's empress—now she was like an obedient maid, eager to please and utterly submissive.

"Ah, Lord Bahr," Hancock murmured as she massaged his shoulders, "this concubine has brought someone with me."

Tilting her chin toward the bathhouse entrance, she called, "Margaret, come in."

Margaret entered promptly, kneeling on one knee at the pool's edge with a crisp greeting. "Lord Bahr."

Bahr arched a brow at Hancock, his gaze questioning. "What's the meaning of this? Bringing someone in while I'm bathing?"

Hancock's cheeks flushed slightly, but she spoke with unwavering confidence. "This concubine feared I alone might not serve Lord Bahr adequately, so I asked Margaret to assist... Does Lord Bahr find her acceptable? Are you satisfied?"

Bahr was genuinely taken aback.

He had previously coaxed Hancock into becoming the "First Wife," fully aware of her intensely possessive nature. Though she had been temporarily placated by his words, he never expected her to actively bring another woman to him.

This change was far too abrupt.

Noticing the confusion in his eyes, Hancock proactively explained, "As the First Wife, it is only natural for me to consider Bahr-sama's needs thoroughly. This is simply how things should be."

In her view, the First Wife must act the part—not only striving to please Bahr herself but also arranging everything for him. Only then could she firmly secure his heart, leaving no opportunity for outsiders to sneak in.

Bahr gave her a strange look before turning his gaze to Margaret, who still knelt on the floor.

Her short, neat golden hair curled slightly at the ends, exuding a spirited charm. She wore a form-fitting animal-hide swimsuit that accentuated her toned figure, paired with a matching miniskirt. A white cape draped over her shoulders, and a black-and-green striped snake coiled around her waist. Her right leg was clad in black-and-white striped leggings, with high-heeled boots completing the look. A quiver was strapped to her thigh, embodying the striking boldness unique to Kuja warriors.

"What do you think about this?" Bahr asked.

Margaret lifted her head, her gaze steady and unflinching. "This subordinate follows the Snake Princess's orders."

For Kuja warriors, the Empress's command was absolute law. Raised in the untamed wilderness, they had no concept of conventional boundaries between men and women.

Moreover, their tribe revered strength. Serving a man like Bahr was, in their eyes, an honor rather than a compromise.

Seeing her composure, Bahr hesitated no further. If the woman herself was this unreserved, why should he feign restraint? Besides, Margaret's striking presence—her toned physique accentuated by the animal hides—held a wild allure far removed from the delicate charm of other women.

He tilted his chin toward her. "Since you're here, come closer."

Hancock immediately brightened, eagerly beckoning Margaret. "Quickly, serve Bahr-sama well."

Watching Margaret step into the bath, Hancock secretly sighed in relief. Now, Bahr-sama would be surrounded only by her people—no outsider could ever slip in.

If this small "sacrifice" could keep Bahr-sama by her side, what did it matter? The position of First Wife was one she would never relinquish.
