Chapter 1 - Whispers of an Old World

In this new world, countless kingdoms rise and fall. Some have endured through the ages, while others crumbled under the weight of time—shattered by endless conflicts and fading into scattered tribes. Now, they roam across the lands, surviving quietly, yet still believing that their time will come again.

Among the surviving kingdoms was Seedad — a realm strengthened by countless clans, loyal generals, and a brave army. Its people were skilled and determined, adapting with time and enduring every change that came their way.

Among the surviving kingdoms was also Teb — a realm that still stood, though drenched in blood. The Teb army often raided the scattered tribes, spreading fear through slaughter, cruelty, and relentless plunder. They forged a fearsome army, stripped of all humanity, trained only to conquer and destroy. Teb and Seedad stood close to each other, yet they were bitter enemies.

"Now, the strong have grown weak… and the weak have faded into nothing"

Basra — a border city of Seedad, beyond which stretches a vast desert. Life here is simple yet prosperous, and its people are honest and disciplined. The laws are strict, the lifestyle modest, and the air often shrouded in thick fog rolling in from the nearby desert — though never for long. Festivals are common here, filling the streets with color and music. The renowned Royal Lohari Company also resides in Basra, crafting fine armor, cannons, bows, and swords that are supplied throughout all of Seedad.

The two friends walked slowly, arms draped over each other's shoulders, talking softly as they made their way forward. One of them looked slightly intoxicated. Gripping his friend for support, he asked,

"Rohan! Are you planning to keep going or just fall asleep right here?"

Hearing this, Rohan laughs like a madman, suddenly flails his legs, falls down, and loses consciousness....

In the evening, the Jay family was worried about Rohan and kept watching his every move. Within the Jay family, Rohan's father and mother were particularly concerned about him. (The Jay family is huge, but Rohan's branch is just a small part of it.) Rohan's father Vey Jay was extremely angry his face was red with rage.

Vey Jay muttered to himself, "Has that fool wandered off again? Evening has come, and he still hasn't returned." His mother was worried too, her eyes full of concern. Suddenly, the door burst open with a loud bang. Vey Jay and his wife immediately turned their attention toward it.

To their surprise, Rohan's friend appeared, carrying him on her back and bringing him inside.

Vey Jay thundered, "Where have you two been all this time?"

Rohan's friend, Azon, spoke quickly, "Uncle, you've got it wrong—I wasn't with him. I just saw him and carried him here."

Vey Jay, seething with fury, growled, "You…!"

His mother intervened, saying, "Azon, take him inside."

Then she added softly, "Mother, don't be angry—he's just a kid."

"I'll break his leg!" Vey Jay roared, his face red with rage.

"All day long, what does he do? Just lie around like a donkey."
