A story that was inspired by a video game, a game that was all about survival, exploration and overall graphics, but it also had a side that completely changed the way people saw the video game and it was seen as more of a.. "Story game", it is an unknown story or a story that was abandoned. I will continue the story.
The story begins with a man living in his house alone with barely enough resources, he was poor and broke and could not afford even much food. Although he is a consistent person, jogging and exercising everyday, training his body and mind by using his phone, which is the only thing that he bought. He used his phone to learn things he never knew about, he couldn't even afford school so he wasn't taught properly, he had to teach himself the ways of life and improvement, his determination was one of a kind.
The reason the man lives alone is because his mother abandoned him long ago, leaving him with a house that is barely surviving with a few money to grow up and invest with, and his father.. He does not know, it was said by his mother that his father went missing. The man had to live without parents for years, he barely survived and he's even surprised at how he is still standing.
He never had friends, he was hated by his old school mates when he was a kid so he was used to it, the only thing that was great about him that his schoolmates saw was his talent, they used his talent as an advantage during Exams or quizzes, or even in sports tournaments.
He was gifted, but he never understood that and so he couldn't use that "Gift" well, he had trouble understanding certain things and couldn't respond to people. He was an introvert.
-Isaiah-
His father named him, Isaiah, he said it was a great name and a name that would carry his faith, a name that would be powerful in the long future, a name that the world would be grateful for. No one understood what he meant, but he said one thing. He told his fellow friends and relatives.. "This child, when he grows up, will conquer and alter the world. He is my future and my gift."
Isaiah was pissed at how his father left him that easily though, despite saying all of that Isaiah was disappointed in his father and ignored his sayings.
He always wondered what it would feel like talking to his father again, experiencing the things he never got to with his father. He actually never has seen his own fathers face which makes him wonder if he even is alive or real.
--- The Foundation ---
Isaiah continued his life, repeated in a cycle that he's slowly getting tired of, he's trying his best and going all out on trying to improve himself and trying to find a way out of his situation, he did everything but nothing came up into his mind. He was close to committing suicide.
Although he knew he had a talent but hadn't experienced it yet and so he kept living, trying to figure out his own self and his past, trying to connect moments that could possibly lead to his answers.
He tried everything to find his hidden talent, trying out sports, martial arts or anything. A thing he noticed was his crazy stamina and footwork, he's agile and quick and had good leg control.
--- Saturday morning, at 7:20AM ---
Isaiah went jogging as usual, taking his normal route to a nearby park that led to a store. He grabbed some resources and went back to the park, but then saw something interesting.. A group of Men that were wearing unique armor, sorta like a mercenary you could say? He saw them threatening a kid and asking him questions. There were cars around the park but they were scavenging around.
He hid around the bushes, behind the trees to get closer, but then the group of men started to get farther, they made the kid a hostage and brought them to a place that wouldn't be seen by others. Although, Isaiah was worried and hid behind the houses and found them.
"Kid, where is the activator?" "If ya don't hand that activator then you staying with us." "That thing isn't good for you kid, hand it." "Give it and you can survive" "Hey relax guys, why don't we try and recruit him? I can sense potential within him."
Isaiah heard conversations about some sort of "Activator", it sounded weird but it sounded like something important, possibly an item that could be deadly to the country, well after all why would armed men scavenge the area? Isaiah asked himself
"Are these people even from the army? Or atleast, justified?"
He repositioned himself in little corners where he could see clearly, he checked the armed men, observing every movement and checking for open places. He went quickly to another corner and quickly chokes one, he silently walks and brings his body to the trash bin.
Isaiah took his armor, it was quite durable and felt light. He went back and returned, pretending to be a part of the group although he looked a bit off, nobody noticed him that much.
--- The Faculty ---
Isaiah observed the armed men, checking on the kid and finally riding the vehicle, they drove while having the kid as their hostage. Isaiah had to be really careful and aware, he had to be prepared and ready for an attack because he could be caught in any moment, his armor is not even fixed and not worn properly.
--- 7:50AM ---
The vehicle had reached a laboratory looking place, it was quite small, like an ordinary house with a price of 20k. They went inside and it was normal, Isaiah felt weird and noticed something was wrong, but he went along. He started to observe the areas, looking for any hidden stuff or traps, he kept an eye on the kid.
A few minutes later while awaiting an event, he heard a conversation.
He moved a bit closer to the conversation, there were over three men talking together, it was something about the kid and was pointing to him, it seems he was the subject of the conversation.
"How long will the experiment take? We have to make it quick and find the activator." "There's a high chance he dies, since he is only young it's expected for him not to be able to withstand such output power, are you sure about this Sir?"
Isaiah thought to himself, "what experiment?" well it did involve something about dying and so he had to take action. He couldn't watch someone die in front of him. But I wonder, why is he doing this?
After a while, they moved to another place and Isaiah silently walked with them, trying not to be suspicious. He went to talk to other Men and remove suspicious actions.
--- The Experiment ---
Isaiah tried to get closer but couldn't draw suspicion, he waited until something happened. But suddenly they went into a room and the door shut, leaving the kid and the 5 mercenaries alone, it seems that they were starting the experiment.
Isaiah was panicking, he didn't know what to do, although he did see a guard earlier that was controlling the doors through the system, he ran back to the place and silently moved through each room.
He went behind the guard silently and attacked, but the guard survived and shot him with bullets "Hey!? Who are you? Stand your ground!" Isaiah used his armor to block off his bullets, ricocheting each one.
He then quickly moved to attack and punched him multiple times, before finally choking him till unconscious, he moved his body to a cabinet and strapped him around with wires, then hijacked the system allowing him to open the doors.
Although this type of army or group wasn't so dumb, they added a fingerprint that matched the exact same as the guard, and when Isaiah opened those doors, it also made an alarm.
Isaiah quickly took the gun and equipment from the guard, as well as some tools inside the cabinet, he had to be ready at any cost, he took 2 smoke grenades, 2 flashbangs and 2 grenades, he also took some ammo, he then hid behind the door and kicked it open, but then was surprised by what he heard.
It was gunshots from over 6 mercenaries, they were prepared and ready to shoot.
--- The Battle ---
Isaiah quickly had a thought, he used a flashbang to create an opening for him, with that moment he quickly moved out, he charged into the group before the effect of the flashbang was removed.
Isaiah moved towards the mercenaries, he grabbed a knife and sliced a guard neatly, Isaiah then grabbed a shield behind and used it to defend himself, while taking the guards gun.
He started shooting towards the group and in every direction, before the flashbang was gone he threw the body of the guard towards a mercenary and collided, it was like Isaiah was using him as an offensive shield, he then turned around and shot every other mercenary.
Isaiah successfully shot the mercenaries and laid them down, although he was injured in his right shoulder, he used some bandages and tight wraps to stop the bleeding, his armor could only survive over 5-8 bullets, and his shield wasn't durable.
Isaiah's armor was damaged, it had only a bit of time left till it would survive, he then took another mercenary's armor and used it, he quickly then took a keycard from the guard and ran off to the room.
But when he stepped up onto the room, he was greeted with a wide opening, a turret, 2 rooms on each side, and 2 mercenaries on each opening of the room. He quickly hid behind crates to avoid damage, he quickly thinks and throws a smoke grenade so the turret wouldn't be able to find him.
Isaiah quickly dashes into the smoke, then swiftly moving through side to side and charges into a mercenary with his arms on his head like a charging bull. He charges himself with full body weight onto the mercenary to avoid being detected by the turret, he then smashes the other mercenary's head onto the wall to knock him out.
Isaiah smashed the mercenary's head through the electric box, it dealt massive damage and knocked him out neatly, although the other mercenary starting shooting Isaiah, but Isaiah charged in once again weaving and moving his head as if dodging punches, he jumps and released punches unto the mercenary till knocked out.
Isaiah wasn't damaged much, since he renewed his armor he survived the gunshots, he took the rifle from the mercenary and started shooting towards the smoke, trying to eliminate anything from the next room.
Isaiah quickly moved to the next room and had his gun up, he was ready for any attack, he moved side to side and to positions where he could defend himself, he looked for any type of trap wires and grabbed any source of information he could.
He silently walked towards another room, but accidentally stepped on a tripwire. He couldn't escape it because the system tripwire will activate right after a single step, so he took the damage but the armor reduced it.
Isaiah quickly hid behind a counter, and used some bandages to cover up his injured foot, he took off his shoes and started wrapping his leg, but he heard footsteps running outside the room.
He then used his final smoke grenade and threw it to the group of mercenaries, along with a grenade and ran off to the next room.
--- Redemption for Marley ---
He stumbled across a locked door, and he heard screams inside. He took a wrench and started wrecking the door and punched it till it broke. He saw 2 scientists and 2 elite mercenaries that were guarding them. Isaiah quickly shot everywhere and broke the test tube, the scientist tried to put the kid into a huge test tube with liquid substances.
Isaiah threw his final flashbang and swiftly weaved around, he targeted a mercenary first and stabbed him through the neck, and he used his shield for defense and started shooting the scientists, although he was punched from the back by another mercenary and attacked him repeatedly. They started exchanging punches.
Isaiah said while exchanging punches "Hey! Kid, what's your name? Grab that mercenary's gun and shoot this guy!"
The kid quickly reacted and shot the mercenary, breaking his armor but not being able to damage him, the mercenary quickly switched targets and ran off to the kid, but then Isaiah charged once again, using his whole body to stop the mercenary and punched him, without his elite armor he is doomed, glass shattered and pierced his face.
Isaiah punched him, till blood was dripping, he was knocked out and couldn't move. "What was your name kid?" He responded, nervously "Marley.. Who are you?"
Isaiah smiled, he stood up and stretched "I'm just some random guy who's here to save you, I don't even know what's happening but experimenting on kids is wrong, let's escape out of here yea? Come, I know the way out." They ran off, going back to the exit of the laboratory quickly, but there were more problems awaiting.
