Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : A New world part 1

Millicas Gremory — that is my name. But my friends and family just call me Millicas. And guess what? Today I turn five, well in this life anyway but who who would have thought I would be reborn as a young master of a devil family and i don't mean metaphorically I literally was Reincarnated as a devil, pretty neat huh.

I never understood the concept of celebrating birthday in my previous life afterall it's simply means you're a year closer to the end but I was starting to appreciate them in this life.

While thinking that I made my way towards the banquet hall, walking through the familiar

corridors of the Gremory estate. On my right, the walls were lined with lavish paintings, ornate decorations I'd seen hundreds of times. On my left, standing quietly as if she were part of the house itself, was a woman with a voluptuous figure, long silver hair cascading down her back, and red eyes that seemed to pierce through the air. She was wearing a maid's uniform, perfectly neat.

This was my personal maid, Grafiya. Hahaha… thank Kami for giving me such a beautiful attendant.Starting today, I silently promised to myself, I would believe in him completely.

Finally, the long corridor ended at a ridiculously ornate door, literally gold and diamond. Who even designed these things? The weight of its grandeur almost made me stagger. Grafiya crouched slightly to match my eye level and gave my outfit a last-minute inspection.

"There's no need to be nervous," she said softly. "I would be with you throughout the party".

"Of course, Grafiya-nee," I said.

She smiled. "I told you to call me Grafiya in public, eh?"

"I don't want to," I replied, grinning.

"Well, no more time to waste. Let's go."

The door swung open.

Immediately, every eye in the hall turned toward me. A few familiar faces, but most were strangers. And then I saw her—my mother, coming toward me to escort me to the center of the hall. Behind her, my grandmother and grandfather followed, and then… my aunt Rias Gremory. She was only a year older than me, but she always lost her mind whenever I called her that.

"Ah, my boy! You look so adorable and handsome I could just eat you up!" my mother exclaimed, scooping me up into a hug. My mother… what can I say? She was a doting parent on steroids. You have no idea the kind of antics I had to endure daily. Born after years of trying, she had a bit too much energy at times, but I loved her all the same.

"Ara Ara, that's enough Valeriel-san Let others meet the star of the day," my grandmother said.

My grandmother… she looked like a young supermodel. I could barely believe she was my grandmother. By appearance, she could easily match my mother in beauty, and in some ways, might even surpass her. I know it sounds inappropriate for a grandson to think this, but it's true.

From the corner of my eyes, I could see Rias pouting, holding a small, exquisite gift box in her hands. "Open it, Millicas! I bought it for you!" she insisted, bouncing slightly on her toes.

"I'll open it after the party," I said politely. "It's not good manners to open gifts right now."

Rias pouted harder, but my grandfather laughed. "Go on, open it. Otherwise, she won't stop. She spent quite a bit of her pocket money on it."

I opened the box carefully, half-expecting a deed to an island or something equally ridiculous given the way my family is used to spending money. Instead, nestled inside was a crimson bracelet, it had runes inscribe all around it and a dark crimson glem at the centre, it's was beautiful.

I looked at Rias. "It's beautiful."

Her eyes lit up. "You like it?"

"Yeah. Very beautiful."

My mother smiled knowingly. I had thought I'd controlled my expression, but it betrayed me anyway. Well… what harm was there in showing happiness among family?

As we chatted and laughed, a familiar voice reached my ears. I turned to see Lady and Lord Sitri, accompanied by their daughter, Sona Sitri.

Lady Sitri and Sona were familiar faces. We'd visited their home many times, and they had come to ours. My grandmother and Lady Sitri were close friends, and Sona had always been like a childhood friend to Rias and me. Lord Sitri… I'd only seen him once before, from a distance. Usually it's either lady sitri or serafall who used to visit our estate.

"The pleasure is mine, Lord Sitri. And you, Lady Sitri… you seem to keep getting younger every time I see you," I said.

Sona rolled her eyes. "Stop being weird, Millicas."

"Hahaha, you really know how to make a lady feel special," Lady Sitri said with a laugh. I worry for my daughter and the other young ladies already."

Lord Thaddeus nodded approvingly. "Indeed. To show such etiquette at such a young age… Lord Gremory, you are blessed with remarkable children and grandchildren."

My grandfather waved dismissively. "Surely you jest, Lord Sitri. Both your daughters are truly exceptional in their own right. Serafall-sama inherited the title of Leviathan, and I hear young Sona has already manifested the Sitri bloodline ability."

"Still it's pale in comparison to the deed of millicas afterall millicas is the first devil to be born with 3 bloodline abilities" lord thaddeus

Said to my grandfather

Laughter and conversation flowed naturally as the two patriarchs exchanged pleasantries, their voices carrying the weight of centuries of friendship and rivalry.

Meanwhile, Mother leaned closer, her smile warm. "Come now, Millicas. Let's let the men talk. Why don't we go and greet the other guests together?"

And just like that, I was swept further into the endless parade of greetings, handshakes, and thinly veiled negotiations masquerading as well-wishes.
