During lunch break, the front desk received an unexpected surprise.
A young delivery man pulled up with a truckload of roses outside the company building, holding up a delivery slip.
"Flower delivery for Cecilia Spark. Please sign here."
Curious female employees quickly gathered around, whispering and giggling. No matter how much they pried, the courier kept his lips sealed.
"So romantic! My husband wouldn't even buy me half that many roses. Miss Spark is really blessed!"
"Someone must be chasing her! Which rich bachelor is it?"
"Didn't the boss pay for everyone's breakfast this morning too? Damn, he's got money to burn…"
Cecilia happened to walk by just then. Hearing the gossip, she frowned and turned back toward the front desk.
"It's work hours. Don't you all have better things to do than drool over flowers?"
"Miss Spark! You have a delivery!" the receptionist said brightly, handing her the clipboard and pointing toward the truck overflowing with roses downstairs.
