In just a few days, she had lost every last bit of confidence. She understood her own feelings clearly, yet she had no clue what Blaze was thinking.
"What are you afraid of? Let's go!" Marylin grabbed Cecilia firmly and swaggered toward the courtyard.
The villa's staff recognized Cecilia. Even though she hadn't appeared for quite some time, they respectfully opened the door for her and arranged slippers neatly in the foyer.
As expected, Marylin was shocked by the wall lined with high heels, her mouth dropping open. It took her a long moment to recover. "Sister, are you all this extravagant?"
Cecilia felt a little embarrassed and smiled, her cheeks turning red. "They're just for show. I really only wear one pair."
"Where's your room? And the walk-in closet?"
