"It's all over the school forum! They're saying you threw and sponsored the party! " Ava shrieked her voice laced with panic.
Hazel's eyes widened in shock.
"But I didn't do it! " Hazel uttered, surprised.
"That two faced bitch!" Skylar cussed and hissed.
Hazel thought about Samantha's strange behavior last night and frowned. She clenched her fist.
"I don't know how she did it but it seems like she bribed everyone. Your pictures are all over the forum, even some fake invitation chats you supposedly had with students. Am sure she forged them!" Ava retorted with a scoff.
"Wait...I need to wash up first. You guys can go, I'll join you soon" Hazel mumbled and went into the bathroom.
Skylar and Ava left the room.
Hazel stepped out of the bathroom and put on a black tight fitted jean and an oversized grey hoodie. She packed her hair into a loose ponytail and put on her glasses, grabbing her backpack, she left the room.
Immediately she stepped into the class, most of the students began whispering, ignoring them, she lowered her gaze and head straight to her seat as she sat down.
"I can't wait to set my eyes on that bitch, let me show her how crazy I can be!" Skylar muttered, angrily.
"Don't do anything silly, Samantha might do worse again" Hazel mumbled, calmly.
A paper flew through the air and smacked Hazel on the head. She turned to see Matt lounging lazily at his desk, legs crossed, chewing gum and making weird popping sounds with it.
She recalled what had happened last night and frowned, ignoring him, she faced her front.
He continued throwing more papers until he gave up, a boy walked to where Hazel sat and dropped a piece of paper on the table.
"He said I should give it to you" The boy stuttered, nervously and flee.
Hazel took the paper and unfold it.
"No glasses, your hair down...those beautiful curves visible in that gown, I must say you look so sexy without this glasses and hoodie of yours. Why don't you let your hair down and take your glasses off now..?" Skylar read aloud and scoffed.
Ava who had also read the letter, giggled.
Hazel didn't even bother to stare back at him as she fixed her gaze on the white board.
Skylar snatched the piece of paper from Hazel's grip, then turned and gave Matt the middle finger, she showed him the paper, then tore it into pieces and shoved them into her mouth.
Matt frowned and gritted his teeth in anger. He was about to stand up but just then, Mrs Quinn stepped into the classroom, forcing him to sit back down.
At that moment, Samantha and her troops also stepped into the classroom too, Samantha glared at Hazel and gave her a wicked smile.
"Settle down please!" Mrs Quinn ordered, coldly and the class became quiet as a graveyard.
"I thought I strictly warned you, no partying outside the school! Don't you realize you're dragging the school's name through the mud? And the worst part? You actually went ahead and threw your party in a clubhouse!" Mrs Quinn retorted, angrily and sighed.
"Who thought it was a good idea to host that party?!" Mrs Quinn questioned, angrily but her gaze was fixed on Hazel like she already knew the answer.
Everyone stared at Hazel as though they were being controlled.
Hazel blinked, rapidly. She slowly stood up.
"It wasn't me... it was Samantha." Hazel blurted out, calmly.
"Me?! Why are you accusing me Hazel, we all know that it was you, besides it's still in the school's forum!" Samantha fired, pitifully.
"Tell Mrs Quinn that you made up those stuffs, the chats....the pictures..How can a middle class girl like me throw such a big party? I don't know what you're trying to achieve from this but I'll advice you to end it now" Hazel spoke, calmly.
Seeing Hazel's steady gaze which was fixed on her, Samantha shivered inwardly.
"Why are you trying to accuse me..?" Samantha muttered pitifully as she faked a sob.
The students began to glare hatefully at Hazel as they whispered to themselves.
Ava scoffed, clearly irritated while Skylar clenched her fist, tight.
What a drama queen!
Hazel frowned.
"Mrs Morgan? I believe you were the party holster...To my office now!" Mrs Quinn stated, sternly and left.
Hazel hung her backpack and walked out of the classroom but not without giving Samantha a cold glare in which she returned it back with a wicked smile.
•MRS QUINN'S OFFICE•
"Ma'am please you can't just suspend me from school all because of this...I didn't do it!" Hazel panicked.
"Go pack up your things, your guardian will be here any minute" Mrs Quinn muttered, dryly as she fixed her gaze on a newspaper.
"What? You called Riley? But I didn't do anything! Why won't you even try to find out the truth? Samantha's trying to set me up!" Hazel retorted, desperately.
Mrs Quinn slammed her palm hard on the table, her gaze dark and cold.
"Find out what truth? You should be lucky the management only gave you a suspension
letter instead of expelling you. Besides someone like you don't belong here. Kindly pack up and leave " Mrs Quinn uttered, coldly.
Hazel stood frozen in place, trying to process what Mrs Quinn had said.
The door creaked open, and a girl with a stack of books walked in quietly.
"Oh Reese darling, you can drop them on my table" Mrs Quinn uttered, sweetly.
Reese dropped the stack of books on the table, she had heard all what Mrs Quinn had said to Hazel which made her to feel slightly irritated at Mrs Quinn's kind gesture.
Hazel's eyes became dull and distant, she took a step back slowly, opened the door and left.
Reese strode towards the door but suddenly stopped then spun around to face Mrs Quinn.
"You know it's wrong to belittle and look down on people just because they're poor or come from a middle class family. And to think you're a teacher...." Reese spoke, coldly then huffed and left.
Mrs Quinn stared at the closed door for a moment, her face flushed with embarrassment.
