Chapter 16 - "Mystery Not Solved"

Once upon a time,

there was a girl named Sukaina and a boy named Ali.

They were both university students living in Pakistan. Coming from wealthy families, they met while studying for their bachelor's degrees.

At first, they were simply classmates. But as time passed, they began to like each other. Their friendship slowly turned into love, and soon, they started dating.

Eventually, their families met.

Both families were happy with their relationship, and Sukaina and Ali became engaged.

Sukaina had no idea that the man she loved was hiding a deeply troubled side of himself.

After their marriage, everything seemed normal at first.

But only one month later, something happened that Sukaina could never forget.

One day, she asked Ali for a cup of coffee.

he waited.

And waited...

When she finally received the coffee, Ali became furious.

"How long did it take you to bring this?"

Before Sukaina could even respond, he poured the hot coffee onto her hand.

She cried out in pain.

Then he smashed the cup.

That was only the beginning....

Soon,

Ali began physically abusing her. He would hurt her, then apologize, beg for forgiveness, and promise that he would never do it again.

Sukaina believed him.

But after every apology, the same behavior returned.

The cycle continued.

Hurt. Apology. Forgiveness. Then hurt again.

Eventually, Sukaina and Ali had a son named Zohan.

Zohan was only three years old, but he was already witnessing things no child should ever have to see.

One day, his parents were fighting again.

While Sukaina and Ali screamed at each other in the living room, little Zohan sat beside the table, crying quietly.

He watched his parents.

Then, suddenly, he stood up.

Without saying a word, he began walking upstairs.

He reached the top floor and stood near the wall.

Then he jumped.

His parents were still arguing when something caught their attention through the glass wall.

They saw their little boy lying below.

Everything changed in an instant.

They ran toward him.

Blood was pouring from his injuries, and the bleeding would not stop.

They rushed Zohan to the hospital.

The doctors warned them that his chances of survival were low.

But somehow, against the odds,

Zohan survived.

Yet the pain inside him did not disappear.

As he grew older, disturbing behavior began appearing at school.

He started bullying other children.

One day, he pulled a little girl's hair just to annoy her.

Then he began troubling other children as well.

Eventually, things became more serious.

One day, Zohan took a sharp pencil and struck another child hard in the stomach.

The injury was severe enough that the child needed stitches.

The parents complained to the school.

His behavior continued.

One day, his teacher saw him pushing another child.

"Stop it!" she shouted.

Zohan responded disrespectfully.

When the teacher warned him again, he raised his middle finger at her.

The school called his mother.

Sukaina arrived and immediately began explaining her own painful story.

She talked about her husband's family, her problems, and everything she had suffered.

She cried as she spoke.

But instead of accepting responsibility for Zohan's behavior, she blamed everything around her.

Eventually, the school could no longer tolerate the situation.

Zohan was expelled.

The family returned home.

But things did not become peaceful.

A few days later, Sukaina began arguing with Ali again.

Zohan was sitting beside his father while Ali lovingly spent time with him.

Suddenly, Sukaina entered the room and began shouting without any clear reason.

She grabbed Zohan and tried to pull him away.

In the chaos, a glass of juice fell from Ali's hands.

Sukaina became even more furious.

She started screaming and eventually forced her parents-in-law out of the house.

When Ali returned, he looked around in confusion.

"Mom and Dad? Where are they?"

"I threw them out," Sukaina replied.

Ali stared at her.

"Are you in your senses?"

"Yes. I threw them out."

Ali began shouting.

Terrified, Zohan ran into the kitchen and hid.

After some time, Ali decided to leave the house with his son.

He went searching for Zohan.

But when he entered the kitchen, he found his little boy holding a knife.

Before Ali could stop him, Zohan hurt himself.

Ali screamed and immediately rushed toward him.

The injury was serious, and Zohan's skin had been badly damaged.

He was taken to the hospital and rushed into the emergency room.

Once again, doctors fought to save him.

And once again...

Zohan survived.

It was difficult to understand how a child so young could already attempt to hurt himself twice.

But Zohan was only four years old now.

He had been surrounded by violence, screaming, fear, and emotional instability since he was very young.

His behavior continued to worry everyone.

When he entered another school, he initially behaved well.

But after some time, he approached a little girl and said,

"Press my neck."

His disturbing behavior returned.

He began bullying other children again.

His teachers struggled to control him, and he eventually began receiving treatment.

A doctor advised the family that whenever Zohan became extremely angry, certain triggers should be kept away from him, including chocolates.

But then someone entered his life who made a difference.

Her name was Alia.

Alia was one of his teachers.

Instead of simply punishing Zohan, she tried to understand him.

She cared for him.

She stayed patient with him.

And slowly, she helped him learn how to control his emotions.

With her support, Zohan began changing.

Little by little, he started leaving his painful past behind.

He grew older.

He became stronger.

And eventually, his father insisted that he continue his education and move forward with his life.

Years passed.

The troubled little boy who once lived surrounded by chaos had grown into a handsome and charming young man.

But his past had left scars that could never completely disappear.

Then, one day, someone new entered his life.

Her name was Gul.

Gul had come into the military as a doctor.

Zohan met her there.

At first, they simply talked.

Then they became friends.

And slowly, something beautiful happened.

They fell in love.

For the first time, Zohan experienced a relationship that was not built on fear, anger, or violence.

It was built on care.

Trust.

And understanding.

Eventually, Zohan and Gul got married.

Today, Zohan is happy.

He loves Gul, and he is finally living the life he once could never imagine.

But there is still one painful part of his past that remains unresolved.

His mother, Sukaina, never truly changed.

Even though Zohan's father continued caring for him, the problems between his parents continued affecting their family.

The emotional damage left behind by his childhood remained difficult to erase.

And whenever Zohan struggled with the memories of his past, his former teacher Alia was still there to support him.

Even when schools refused to admit him because of his history, Alia spoke for him.

She believed he deserved another chance.

And eventually, he was given that chance.

His teacher helped change his path.

His father stood by him.

And Zohan himself chose to keep moving forward.

Today, he smiles.

He loves Gul.

He has a future.

But one question still remains unanswered...

How could a three-year-old child become so broken that he tried to hurt himself twice?

Was it his nature?

Was it the environment he grew up in?

Or was it the pain he witnessed before he was even old enough to understand it?

Perhaps the answer lies somewhere between all three.

The mystery remains unsolved.
