"Hurry, this way. I can sense the exit gate. It's not too far away."
I yelled at Kuro, who was following me at a moderate pace. The poor monster was huffing as tiredness began to settle in.
"I-I am trying to follow you, but it's not easy."
Kuro complained. Unlike me, he did not have enough power to recover, and I felt frustrated. But then, I knew what I could do.
"Turn into a cat. I will carry you out of here."
I told Kuro, and he looked surprised. But he wasted no time giving me any bullshit reason why he should not do that and turned into a cat.
I grabbed him in my arms and ran toward the exit.
A lot of monsters noticed me running past them, but they had no time to stop me. They were all busy trying to run away before the dungeon's collapse as well.
The exit shook as I approached it, and I managed to barely get out before the whole dungeon collapsed behind me. Kuro let out a yelp in my arms before he shivered.
