"Kyle…don't go…"
The alpha called out to me, and I felt like my heart was breaking as I betrayed his trust and his words. But what was done was done, and I needed to keep moving forward.
A soft body rubbed against mine, and I looked down at Kuro.
"Human, I will accompany you this time as well."
Kuro told me, and I opened the small bottle for him to fit inside. The car deformed back into the black mass, and it filled the bottle.
"What about Emma and your presence as a cat here?"
I asked the creature, and Kuro just scoffed at my worried expression.
"Don't worry. That woman will not even know I am gone because I used my ability to make her forget about me for now."
Kuro assured me, and I did not feel reassured to hear those words. Memory manipulation was not something I was fond of.
But then again, it did have its uses, so I could not complain. I brought Kuro downstairs where Emma and the others were waiting for me.
