Chapter 3 - The Tale of Ye Tian: Rise and Idiocy

The Tale of Ye Tian: Rise and Idiocy

"Again you!!"

The booming voice echoed across the endless white void.

The divine figure's radiant eyes were wide with disbelief. "How… HOW did you die so quickly?! Even after I gave you cheats, a top-tier clan background, and a hidden master in a mystical ring—you still died!"

Adrian scratched his cheek, avoiding the god's furious gaze. "…Yeah, that's me. Dead again."

The god's aura flickered dangerously. "You are the first mortal in history to waste such an opportunity so thoroughly!"

"Hey, hey, calm down." Adrian raised both hands. "If you want to know how I messed up, you've gotta go back… about a year and a half. Let me explain."

##The Birth of Ye Tian

After my first death-by-truck, I opened my eyes in a completely new body.

I was **Ye Tian**, third young master of the mighty Ye Clan—the top dog of that realm.

This clan was no joke. They were arrogant, yes, but they had every right to be. Each disciple was born with terrifying talent. Their bloodline practically screamed, *"We are destined to dominate."*

And me? I was the son of the patriarch himself.

Everyone in the clan adored me. Some feared me. Most envied me. And honestly? I ate it up.

At first, I thought maybe this was just another spoiled rich kid start. But then I learned about my talents. Oh boy.

Void Spiritual Root. Life Spiritual Root. And on top of that… Chaos Physique.

When my grumpy ring master told me what that meant, I almost fainted. "Kid," he said, stroking his long beard, "your talent is so ridiculous that if you still fail at cultivation, I'll personally dig a hole and bury you myself."

Naturally, I was ecstatic. I strutted around the clan like a peacock on steroids. Everyone bowed their heads when I passed. Elders showered me with gifts. Cousins envied me. Jade beauties lined up just to talk to me.

I thought: *Damn. This is it. I've won the isekai lottery.*

##Arrogance 101

My cultivation soared.

Techniques? I could learn them overnight. Dao comprehension? Easy. People whispered behind my back that I was destined to surpass even the patriarch one day.

And why wouldn't they? Every duel I fought, I won. Every young master from rival sects I faced, I humiliated. *Face-slapping them became a daily hobby.*

"Third Young Master Ye Tian has crushed the genius of the Zhao Clan!"

"Ye Tian has taken another fiancée from the Liu Clan!"

"Ye Tian is unstoppable!"

The rumors spread, and so did my ego.

I collected jade beauties like rare trading cards. My official fiancée was the top-tier beauty of the realm—cold, elegant, untouchable. Did she mind that I kept entertaining other women? Not really. She knew my worth.

At first, I thought: *So this is the harem protagonist lifestyle. Amazing.*

Except… unlike those protagonists in novels, I didn't have to crawl through betrayal, bloodshed, or countless hardships to reach this point. My cheat powers carried me forward effortlessly.

I didn't struggle. I didn't suffer. I just enjoyed.

"Ha!" I laughed one night, surrounded by dancers. "Those other harem MCs had it rough! Losers! Look at me—I got everything without breaking a sweat!"

My ring master groaned. "Brat, pride comes before the fall. Remember this."

But of course, I didn't listen.

The Beauty Beyond the World

Then I saw her.

One day, while visiting a neutral city, I came across a woman unlike any I had ever seen.

Her beauty was indescribable. Skin like snow, eyes like galaxies, presence like a goddess descended to the mortal world. When she walked, time seemed to slow. When she looked, hearts stopped.

I was instantly obsessed.

"Who… who is she?" I asked, breathless.

"Do not," my ring master hissed. His eyes narrowed with rare seriousness. "That one… is dangerous."

My instincts screamed the same thing. She didn't belong here. She was far, far above this world.

But my ego… oh, my ego refused to listen.

"She's beautiful," I muttered. "She'll be mine."

The next few days, I tried everything. Gifting treasures. Writing poetry. Displaying my cultivation strength. None of it moved her.

She didn't even glance at me.

That rejection stung my pride.

So I made the biggest mistake of my life.

I tried to force her.

## Death by Immortal

The moment I reached for her, reality itself trembled.

Her eyes snapped open, and power surged around her—power so vast that the heavens themselves seemed to kneel.

My master screamed in my mind. "IDIOT! SHE'S FROM THE IMMORTAL REALM!"

It was too late.

One flick of her finger, and my chaos physique shattered.

My body turned to dust before I even realized what happened.

Back in the White Void

"…And that's how I died," I finished, shrugging sheepishly.

The god stared at me in pure disbelief. His aura crackled with fury.

"I gave you void root. Life root. Chaos physique. A top clan. A master-in-ring. And still—you managed to die chasing women?! Unbelievable!"

Adrian coughed. "To be fair… she was insanely hot."

The god's voice thundered. "Your INSTINCT told you not to approach her! Even your master warned you! Yet you listened to your EGO and LUST instead!"

Adrian scratched his head. "…Yeah. My bad."

The god groaned, covering his face with both hands. "Never in my existence have I seen a mortal so shamelessly waste his gifts. Do you realize—had you been careful—you could have ruled that entire realm within decades?"

"Eh." Adrian shrugged. "Sounds boring compared to… you know… the thrill of the chase."

The god nearly fainted.

After a long silence, he finally spoke again. His voice was cold, sharp.

"Normally, you would be cast into the cycle of samsara. Reborn with no memory. Just another soul drifting in eternity."

Adrian's chest tightened. "…So that's it? Game over?"

The god's eyes flickered. He hesitated. "…But you are still *that man's* son. As much as I wish to let you rot, I owe him this much. I will give you… one last chance."

Adrian blinked. "Seriously? Third time's the charm?"

The god glared. "Do not mistake this for kindness. This is your FINAL chance. If you squander it… you will be discarded, just like any other wasted soul."

"Okay, okay. I'll be careful this time." Adrian grinned nervously. "So what's the cheat package? Dragon bloodline? Immortal sugar mommy? Overpowered system?"

The god's lips twitched. "…Cheats? After how you squandered the last ones? Absolutely not."

Adrian froze. "Wait, wait, hold on—"

"You will receive *something,*" the god admitted grudgingly. "But nowhere near what you enjoyed before. And first… you will not be sent into the world you expect."

"Huh?"

"I cannot send you there yet. You are unworthy. So instead… you shall be cast into a trash world. A place where humanity is extinct, monsters rule, and survival is not guaranteed."

Adrian paled. "A… a trash world?!"

The god smirked faintly, perhaps the first real smile he had shown. "Yes. If you survive there… if you prove yourself worthy… then, and only then, will you move to the true stage."

Before Adrian could protest, the god raised his hand.

Light exploded.

The white void dissolved.

Adrian's body disintegrated once more, his screams echoing into the darkness.
