Vivian stayed silent for a moment, as if he was searching for the right words.
His eyes were calm, but there was something deep inside them, like he was looking far away, somewhere only he could see.
"I don't know how I continued," he said slowly. "Even now… when I try to remember that feeling… it feels like a dream."
He paused for a moment, his gaze lowering slightly.
"But at the same time… it was real."
His voice became quieter, more thoughtful.
"It was such a strange state… something that is very hard to believe. Even for me… it still feels unreal."
He took a slow breath.
"And what feels even more strange…" he continued, "…is that I didn't die. I stayed in the same place… without moving at all… for four long years."
Charlotte's brows slowly frowned as she listened.
She had never heard this before.
He had never told her where he went, or what he experienced. And she had never asked. She simply trusted him.
