Now, on Shenhe's field stood four monsters: one Xyz Monster, [Exosister Mikailis], along with [Exosister Sophia], [Exosister Stella], and [Exosister Elis]—three Level 4 monsters.
Judging by the current field and hand size, Shenhe held an overwhelming advantage.
Yun Jin was completely outmatched... and moreover, it seemed Shenhe had gathered the materials for yet another Xyz Summon!
"I overlay [Exosister Stella] and [Exosister Elis] to perform an Xyz Summon! Come forth—[Exosister Asophiel]!"
As Shenhe's voice rang out, [Exosister Stella] and [Exosister Elis], both Level 4 monsters, merged together. A light of icy blue brilliance flared across Shenhe's field.
A blonde, twin-tailed girl clad in a white military-style uniform and holding a long bow of pale blue and white appeared beside Shenhe. At the tip of Asophiel's bow fluttered two white feathers glowing with a pure, sacred light.

"I activate [Exosister Asophiel]'s effect! I detach one Xyz Material, then target one monster on my opponent's field—return it to their hand!"
"I detach [Exosister Elis]... and target the Defense Position [Performapal Kaleidoscorp]! Return it to the hand!"
Shenhe successfully activated [Exosister Asophiel]'s effect.
Asophiel drew her right hand back, gathering a massive surge of blue energy. The energy condensed into a shining arrow of light, which she loosed straight toward Yun Jin's [Performapal Kaleidoscorp]!
The arrow pierced through Kaleidoscorp's body, turning it back into a card—then carried it along its flight path, sending [Performapal Kaleidoscorp] back to Yun Jin's hand.

"My goodness!"
"Another Xyz Monster!? [Exosister Asophiel]!"
"Even though her Attack isn't as high as [Exosister Mikailis], her effect's amazing!"
"She can send an opponent's monster straight back to the hand!"
"Without even needing to battle—what a clever move!"
"That means... Boss Yun's completely at a disadvantage now!"
"Xyz Summons really are efficient... Pendulum Summons, not so much."
"Yeah... Xyz Monsters are so flexible! You can choose what you need on the spot—and they all have solid Attack power!"

After activating [Exosister Asophiel]'s effect and returning Yun Jin's [Performapal Kaleidoscorp] to her hand, Yun Jin was left with only one monster on her field:

The onlookers were filled with concern for Yun Jin. The scales of victory had nearly tipped entirely toward Shenhe.
The strength of Shenhe's Deck was immense—almost celestial. She continually Special Summoned monsters from her hand and Deck, performed Xyz Summons, then used her Xyz Monsters' effects to clear Yun Jin's field piece by piece—tearing down her defenses step by step.
Shenhe's relentless offense left Yun Jin completely unable to counter. Pendulum Summoning simply consumed too many cards; just setting up the scales required two already!
As the audience wondered whether Shenhe was about to enter her Battle Phase, Shenhe spoke:
"I overlay [Exosister Asophiel] and [Exosister Mikailis]—using both Rank 4 Xyz Monsters!"

"What!? Even Xyz Monsters can be used for another Xyz Summon!?"
"I've never seen a card like that—not even in the anime!"
"I wonder what kind of Xyz Monster Shenhe will summon next!"
"I can't wait!!!"
"Looks like Yun Jin's done for..."
"An Xyz Monster summoned from other Xyz Monsters must be incredibly strong!"
"Yeah! I can't wait to see what Shenhe brings out!"
Everyone had expected Shenhe to move into the Battle Phase, but instead, she performed yet another Xyz Summon.
Most of the spectators had never seen Xyz Monsters used as materials before, and their curiosity soared as they waited to see what Shenhe would summon next.

[Exosister Asophiel] and [Exosister Mikailis]—the two Xyz Monsters stepped forward, joining hands.
Suddenly, a radiant holy light blazed before Shenhe. A sacred chorus echoed from somewhere unseen.
The Xyz Materials, [Exosister Asophiel] and [Exosister Mikailis], did not vanish but instead merged together as a united duo!
