Satasha was now in Olympus, she was being dragged by two lightning soldiers and ahead of them was Hercules walking like a peacock bragging about his valour and showing off his might, he made sure to walk through the market seen by everyone what he had brought before reaching the palace. Satasha was feeling pain and tired, she didn't want to go back but she knew this is indefinite, the only thing that concerned her at the moment is how to get out of here, she was too powerless to resist and she cannot fight them all in the lion's lair.
They reached the palace and there stood Zeus with Perseus.
Hercules in smug tone "I have brought a gift your excellency"
Zeus merrily "An interesting gift, well done take her to the solitary"
Perseus was terrified when he heard this, he asked "Why the solitary?, She is a child!"
Zeus "Don't let your sentiment take over you, Child or not she is a very useful card and I am not letting her escape again, do you understand?!"
Perseus submitted "Yes my lord!"
Zeus left followed by Hercules. The soldiers took Satasha to the depth of the palace, it was dark and lit by torches all the way to the end of the tunnel that they walked through it to a small room with a heavy metal door; the door needed the two men to open, the room had no windows or bed just a chains. They chained her limbs and her neck with it, the chains were freezing and Satasha felt like she lost her sensation to the part that the chains were. Now they made sure she was chained up they closed the door, soon the room became pitch black. She couldn't see her hand if she put them infront of her eyes. She sat there facing the wall closing her eyes trying to hear anything, the only thing she heard was her heartbeat and that irritated her a lot.
Two weeks later the solitary room opened again. The door made an awful loud jangle noise that Satasha screamed when she heard it. The visitor was Hercules and he was holding a metal bowl, he threw it on the ground near Satasha who was laying there helpless. The sound of the metal hitting the ground made Satasha scream of pain, behind Hercules were light from the torches and that made Satasha cover her eyes.
Hercules "I have brought you food, eat it"
Satasha whispering "Please the lights "
Hercules "I can't hear you"
Satasha abit louder "The lights!, t's to bright I cannot see!"
Hercules laughed and his laughter made Satasha squeak from pain.
Hercules amused "I totally forgot to let a small ray of light to pay you a visit, I am impressed kid you haven't lost your ability to speak yet. You still sane!, Now eat this or you will have to wait another weeks till you can eat again!"
Satasha tried to sit up, she sat up hardly after falling on her face few times because her arms were shaking. She covered her eyes with her hand when she drew nearer to him and looked for the bowl in the other. When she reached it she immediately drew back to the dark corner and hid there eating, her whole body was trembling from weakness, she spilled more in the ground than she ate .
Hercules glaring disgustedly "Pathetic!"
He took the bowl from her and walked toward the door leaving it open. He knew that she isn't strong enough to carry her own weight to walk, he came back with a large nail and a hammer. He could have just make a hole in the heavy door with his power but he chose the old fashion way so he can enjoy torturing her with the loud sounds. Hercules placed the nail in the middle of the door and swung the hammer hardly hitting it.
Satasha let out shrikes of pain rolling and twisting her body by each loud bang, she was covering her ears shut with her hands but the sound was louder. She felt like the nail was drilled into her head, she couldn't do nothing but screaming and crying. Sakata was feeling her pain, he was weeping because of the sight of his mother and the pain she was experiencing, but most importantly he wept because he couldn't do anything but to watch. After fifteen minutes Hercules stopped and said "That should do"
He looked at her crying silently from the pain in the dark corner. He giggled amusingly at her pain "I hope I didn't bother you, I only made a hole so the light pass threw it, we don't want you to go blind" He smiled wickedly and closed the door shut behind him.
Satasha was now lying on the ground cold, tired, and aching from pain. She kept crying till she feel asleep.
Satasha opened her eyes several hours later looking at the ceiling. She felt like her head was swollen and her ears were bleeding, she looked at the door and saw a round hole in the door passing a ray of light. It was painful to look at in the beginning but she continued to look at it.
A three weeks passed with no food and no proper water to drink, she was drinking the drops of water that was leaking from the ceiling, she was so thin now that her ribs was showing almost no fat in her body left to degrade.
The door was opened again and there stood Hercules with a dog collar and chains. He chained her neck and limbs together and forced her to stand. She was too fragile to stand so he dragged her all the way to her old room. The sun was burning her eyes and skin, and the noises was making her ears bleeding. Once they reached the room he threw her on a chair, he tied her limbs, waist, and head in the chair. She looked around and saw all the furniture was now gone and it was replaced with four chairs, two on her left and two on her right and in the middle was a large tall item that was covered with a thick grey sheet. She guessed that it was a mirror, she noticed three figures standing behind Hercules , she couldn't see well who they were because her eyesight was still not used to the light, but she guessed the tall one must be Zeus and the other curly headed figure is Perseus, as the third figure she didn't know who it was, as the third figure drew nearer to her, she saw that this figure is a woman.
The woman spoke "Is this who you want me to take care of?"
Zeus nodded. Satasha knew this voice but the image of the person who this voice belongs to she couldn't tell for sure.
Hercules "This kid here is so feeble to resist anything or even speak, and I don't think that she could see properly"
Zeus "Excellent!, That would make her more obedient. Tatiana did you brought the book"
Tatiana "Yes, It's there on the chair"
Satasha remembered that she saw Tatiana year ago when she met Zeta for the first time. Satasha didn't like her arrogant look and rude personality. Tatiana brought the book next to Satasha and asked "Are you awake?"
Satasha opened her mouth slowly and whispered with lot of effort "Yes"
Tatiana "Good, you must stay awake during this process"
Satasha said nothing.
Tatiana "Do you know who I am?"
Satasha whispered "Yes"
Tatiana "Do you know your name?"
Satasha "Yes"
Tatiana smirked and asked Zeus "Shall I begin?"
Zeus nodded. He sat on one of the chairs and next to him was Perseus, Hercules stood next to the covered item waiting excitedly.
Tatiana opened the book and began to read some script in the ancient language, as soon as Tatiana began to read Satasha felt a sudden pain in her whole body and soon this pain was transferred to her head, she felt like her brain would explode of pain, she screamed agonised, her screams filled the whole palace the next few weeks. Everyone felt sorry for her but they didn't dare to release her. What ever Tatiana was reading it made Satasha experience hell on earth, as if her soul was being ripped out of her. Nothing could describe her pain and agony, she kept crying and screaming till she loses her consciousness.
Sakata was rolling and twisting from the pain he felt through his mother, he kept weeping and begging them to stop.
After several months of this crucial treatment as well as electrifying, skinning, stabbing her with sharp metal rods, and gutting her every now and then. Satasha lost the ability to think of anything and lost her emotions, she only knew pain and emptiness, she was losing her self.
After her screams died out when she started not to feel pain anymore Zeus came with victorious smiled on his face. He asked Tatiana "Is she ready?"
Tatiana excited "Let's find out!"
She brought a knife and stabbed Satasha's leg with it then she asked "Did you felt it?"
Satasha coldly "No"
Tatiana proudly "Good, now tell me do you know me?"
Satasha "Yes"
Tatiana "Will you do something for me?"
Satasha "Yes"
Tatiana smile at Zeus and asked "I will reveal to you the hidden object, It's a mirror. Now all I want from you is to keep looking at the mirror nothing but the mirror and blink only when feel so, do you understand?"
Satasha exhausted "Yes"
Tatiana pulled the sheet of the object revealing the mirror. Satasha did as she told, she stared at the mirror and only the mirror nothing else. Zeus patted Tatiana's shoulder proudly "That's my girl, good job!"
Tatiana blushed and they both left the room, Satasha sat there looking at the mirror for hours and the hours turned to days till she started to imagine her reflection moving and speaking out to her. She saw her self agonized from the pain, and her body twisting abnormally, sometimes she saw her self suiciding in several ways, occasionally she saw a figure standing next to her watching over her, or a reflection but not hers staring at her.
Satasha looked at the mirror for month, without eating or drinking anything. At first her mind was resisting but by time it became empty and soulless, she stared and stared till she started to lose her self, she couldn't recognise herself anymore. After six weeks Tatiana came back with Hercules and what was waiting for Satasha was not worse, they kept her in the upper room making experiments on her as if she was a lab rat the tested if she could endure pain till it's furthest level and her powers of healing. Tatiana kept torturing her by extracting her memories out of her, Hercules on the other hand was enjoying breaking her bones and stabbing her.
This state continued for fourteen months. Sakata couldn't take it anymore neither the pain he felt through his mother nor the sight of them torturing a teenager.
'Monsters' he described them
'Even monsters have feelings!'
On a spring day Satasha was in her room chained up as a dog sitting on the floor eating their leftovers like an animal.
Tatiana entered the room with Zeus, once Satasha saw them she trembled with fear and tried to push herself through the wall as if she could hide behind its bricks.
Zeus softly "Now now kid there is no need to be afraid!"
Satasha looked at him in disbelief.
Tatiana "I am going to ask you some questions if you answered them correctly, I won't do anything to you"
Satasha frightened "Promise?!"
Tatiana tried to smile warmly but ended up with creepy smirk "I promise!"
Satasha nodded looking afraid from Zeus to Tatiana and prepared to be punished brutally.
Tatiana "Tell me do you know my name or his?"
Satasha looked vaguely at them, she tried to remember but their names escaped her mind. She could swear she knew their names but she forgot them, she shook her head waiting to be punished but instead Tatiana said
"Good!. Now do you know where are we?!"
Satasha tried to remember but again her memories failed her, tears started to fall from her eyes looked afraid at them she shook her head.
Tatiana smiled evilly
"Very good, Now the most important question, do you know your name or what you are?!"
Satasha's tears fell hardly, she tried so hard to remember her name or who she is or how she ended up here or remember anything but she couldn't. Satasha panicked, she started to breath heavily crying and asking "Who am I?, What have you done to me?!"
Tatiana looked at Zeus proudly with her accomplishments, Zeus nodded proudly "Good job Tatiana, I am astonished!"
He looked toward the door and ordered "Bring him in!"
Hercules came with one of the red fox tribe man, he was all beaten up and his head was bleeding, Hercules pushed him in front of Zeus's feet, the man looked loathly at them and spat on the floor near by Zeus feet.
Zeus addressing Satasha "Now kid I will give you new room that is warm and has many dresses, I will also give you the permission to bathe and eat as much as you want!"
Satasha looked happily at this news, she wiped her tears and looked at him gratefully.
Zeus wickedly "Only if you kill this man right here and now"
Satasha looked at the man as if he was a golden prize, she smiled brightly and stood up. Her body was so thin that her skeleton was obviously defined, there were many bruises and scars on her whole body and she was wearing an over sized grey shirt that was tore in many spots, and had blood spots everywhere, her eyes were now more prominent with black lids. She walked at him heavily barely carrying herself but she couldn't lose this offer, she stood infront of the kneeling man who was now pleading for salvation. Hercules gave her a small knife. She took it looking at the man's eyes she saw his soul, enviously she stabbed his forehead, the man fell on his side on the floor but he was still alive, she kicked him and he lay motionless on his back, stabbed his chest and pulled the knife down to his stomach, pushing her tiny hand in his chest she pulled his heart out. Happily standing with his heart in her hand like a prize and the knife in the other, she lifted her hand so Zeus can see well what she has.
Zeus smiled gently patting her head "Good lad, Tatiana give this lad what she deserves!"
Satasha "Can I bathe, eat, and have many dresses?!"
Zeus "You can have it all!"
Satasha smiled brightly, she sold her self and soul for food, dresses, and new prison.
Satasha kept killing whoever Zeus told her to for the next three months, she killed for him in this period forty people from all ages, genders and tribes. She was now called the shadow phoenix because of her methods in killing her victims, she comes at night with her smoking black sward and leaving them chopped to parts.
This was now Satasha a pet dog for Zeus who controlled her to assassinate whoever objected him, and torturing her when ever she regain her conscious or her memories.
Satasha suffered with him the worse she could have imagined and the worst that she didn't remember even her name, losing her soul and her emotions, nothing remained except an empty vessel with powers beyond Zeus himself under his control.
Sakata lost his mind and patience, seeing but can't prevent, living like a ghost in the past and his thoughts hooked with his father trying to escape the torture but failing every time, he didn't want to see his mother like this anymore. They have turned her into a monster, a monster without a soul nor emotions.
In the end of autumn Satasha was sitting in her room looking at the the moon through the window trying to remember her name, She was frustrated and sad
'What is my name ?'
She kept repeating 'It started with the letter S but what was it?!'
Suddenly someone opened the door panting "Satasha, let us leave!"
Satasha turned around and saw Zeta with Perseus. She recognized Zeta but didn't remember his name or how she knew him. Satasha "Who is Satasha?!"
Zeta panting "That is your name!, Now come, let us go!"
Satasha remained where she was not moving an inch frightened "I cannot, he will kill me if I escaped!"
Zeta assuring "He won't if we didn't get caught!"
He walked toward her and sat opposite her, She looked at him trying hardly to remember him but failed.
Zeta held her hands gently "I will save you from them if only you came with me, they won't harm you ever again, I won't let them, your brother won't let them. Your brother, Lily, Mika, and me we will protect you no matter what!. I won't let them take you away again I promise!"
Satasha's tears started to fall, she didn't know why but she felt comfortable and she felt his warmth. She hugged him tightly "I cannot remember anything, they kept torturing me and making me kill people, I don't want to do this anymore!, Help me please!"
Zeta hugged her and patted her back gently. He didn't know what to say, he looked at Perseus who sympathized her.
Satasha stopped crying and looked dimly at the window, she lost her self again and revealing her evil side, she whispered "You should have saved me long time ago, but instead you stood there and did nothing!. None of you did anything!"
With her powers she made Zeta's chest contracting forcefully, Zeta drew short breaths, he pushed her away but she was still crushing him from the inside, Zeta crawled on the floor from pain and she stood up looking at his pain with enjoyment. She liked how he was suffering, he was losing his consciousness until he gasped breathing normally, he looked up and saw Perseus holding Satasha's unconscious body.
Zeta got up on his feet hardly "You were right, she isn't the Satasha we know!"
