The Mist ninja continuously used water-style jutsu to attack the barrier, flooding the area around the village. The water level rose above the protective shield. The Uzumaki clan members trapped inside began to despair, and the younger children started to cry.
The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist stood on the water's surface, watching their subordinates attack the barrier, lamenting the boredom of the mission.
Suddenly, Juzo Biwa heard something. "Did you guys hear that?" he asked.
Fuguki Suikazan pricked up his ears but heard nothing. He frowned. "Are you sure you heard something?"
Juzo nodded seriously.
Fuguki clapped his hands and said loudly, "Everyone, be on your guard! We might have trouble."
The Mist ninja were all elites. They immediately became alert.
In the next instant, An Yan appeared above the Uzushio barrier. The Mist ninja all went on the defensive. His appearance was too sudden, too silent.
An Yan ignored the surrounding ninja and looked at the protected village. "Good, I made it in time," he said to himself.
Fuguki stepped forward. "Who are you? You dare to come alone?"
An Yan didn't answer. If I answer just because you ask, wouldn't I lose face?
He just held out his hand, and a bright red staff appeared in it.
He twirled the staff and lightly tapped the water's surface.
The next moment, flames engulfed the world. Before the Mist ninja could react, they were in another dimension.
In the fiery domain of the Fire Talisman, eighteen ANBU ninja were already waiting. The moment the Mist ninja were teleported, before they could even react, they were assaulted by kunai, swords, and various ninjutsu. In an instant, seven or eight of them were killed.
The remaining, stronger Mist ninja reacted and began to fight back. But this was a fire-elemental domain. The power of their water-style jutsu was greatly diminished.
While their subordinates fought, the Seven Swordsmen stood still. They maintained their composure, not panicking even after being pulled into a domain. They were analyzing their surroundings.

The seven swords were drawn simultaneously. The glint of chakra-infused steel outshone the flames.
An Yan formed a one-handed seal and cast a genjutsu: Demonic Illusion: Scattered Thoughts.
Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?
Under the power of his immense spiritual energy, the Seven Swordsmen were momentarily dazed.
Chakra flowed through Sakumo's short sword, its blade pulsing with an unstable aura. With a single charge, he cut down one of them.
A cold sweat broke out on Juzo's forehead. An expert's skill is obvious from their first move. As a fellow swordsman, he could see the terrifying skill in Sakumo's single strike.
The length of Sakumo's chakra blade was variable, making his attack range unpredictable. Combined with An Yan's genjutsu, a misjudgment of his attack range was fatal.
The now six swordsmen had no time to think. Sakumo had already attacked again.
He moved like a phantom, his short sword stabbing at Raiga Kurosuki's throat.
Raiga quickly raised his swords to block, but Sakumo's blade changed its trajectory, a white light flashing.
Swish! Raiga's right arm was severed at the shoulder, blood spraying three meters.
He stumbled back, fear creeping into his heart. "You bastard...!"
He counterattacked with his left thunder sword, but Sakumo had already vanished, attacking another swordsman.
An Yan wasn't idle either. He struck at Fuguki with his staff while entering his Focus state. He formed a one-handed seal and cast a continuous stream of genjutsu, completely messing with their sense of time.

This genjutsu was useless in daily life, but deadly in battle.
Under An Yan's control, the Seven Swordsmen were always in a one-on-one situation with Sakumo. The rest of the time, they were dazed, unable to coordinate an attack.
Sakumo was an assassin-type ninja who was very good at seizing opportunities. After two or three charges, the Seven Swordsmen had become two.
Sakumo had killed four, and An Yan had clubbed one to death—the loudmouthed Juzo Biwa.

The Samehada could instantly absorb a large amount of an enemy's chakra, and the Shibuki was covered in explosive tags. Both were dangerous, which was why they had survived.
But that was all. After Sakumo stopped his attack, An Yan planted his staff in the ground, spread his arms, and formed a Wind Style: Rasengan in each hand.
Seeing this, Sakumo immediately left for another part of the battlefield.
An Yan brought his hands together and whispered, "Wind Tunnel."
A giant tornado formed instantly, sucking the two of them in.
Fuguki swung his Samehada, trying to absorb the Wind Tunnel, but the sword didn't react. He glanced at it and saw two sealing tags stuck to it.
"Sōdesu ne." (Is that so?)
Fuguki and Jinpachi were sucked into the vortex and shredded into a bloody rain by the wind blades. Fuguki had struggled a bit before he died, but Jinpachi had no means to even try.
As blood rained down from the sky, An Yan calmly opened his umbrella, not a single drop touching him.
Elegance is timeless.
With their leaders dead, the remaining Mist ninja did not lose morale. Instead, they became even more ferocious, fighting with a ruthless, self-sacrificing fervor.
Two of the weaker ANBU were almost killed. Sakumo saved them at the last moment.
An Yan stood in the rear, acting as the medical ninja, treating the injured ANBU. For those with missing limbs, he would first see if the original could be reattached. If not, he would open a sealing scroll, cut a piece from a White Zetsu, and perform an on-the-spot organ transplant.
