Chapter 1 - Darkest Night

When I was younger, I often felt pity for the moon. It seemed so lonely that I couldn't help but wish I could fly up and be with it one day.

However, I never thought my life would end up mirroring the moon's solitude. Acia gazed upward, feeling disheartened by her inability to escape the palace.

Her wicked uncle had taken her to a shabby palace, stripping her of everything;her family was gone.

"Mommy, I can't sleep," Acia said to her mother, playfully pouting. The stunning resemblance between acia and her mother clearly indicated that acia will grow up to look like her.

"My little Acia, you need to learn to do things on your own," her mother whispered, gently stroking her head.

"You are always with me mommy I don't have to worry about anything" acia smiled

"But Mommy, why is Daddy always so busy?" she asked, a hint of suspicion in her voice.

" your father is busy running the kingdom and cannot be around" queen arola smiled patting her head

Despite this acia felt sad. Her mother comforted her.

"mommy tell me about the three realms"Acia said to her mother.

Acia let me first start with the immortal realm where I lived before. The Immortal Realm, where my people, the fairies, reside, is a land of wonder and magic. The vampires, with their mysterious powers, walk among us, as do the angels, with their divine presence. The nymphs, gentle and ethereal, tend to the natural world, while the demons, with their mischievous grins, often test the boundaries of our realm. And we have other creatures like the phoenixes, with their fiery splendor, the goblins, with their cunning tricks, and the merfolk, with their shimmering scales.

"While your father realm" queen arola continued, the human realm, a domain where mortal men and women lead their lives with finite existence, one can witness the majestic presence of dragons, wandering powerfully with gleaming scales under the sun. It is a realm filled with wonder and a sense of delicacy, where life is transitory yet invaluable. Though dragons perceive humans as lesser beings in their eyes, this realm holds a blend of magnificence and vulnerability.

"And then, there's the Werewolves Realm, a domain of shape-shifters, they believe in the moon goddess blessing. The strength of a werewolf is in it's pack that's while they stands unified but sometimes a threat to the other two realms"

"Each realm has its own beauty, its own dangers, and its own secrets. Queen arola said with bright eyes.

As a fairy, I've had the privilege of walking among the immortals, of witnessing the magic that unfolds in the shadows. But I've also seen the beauty of the human world, with its mortal struggles and triumphs. And I've felt the call of the wild, the allure of the Werewolves Realm, where the moon's power courses through the veins of its inhabitants."

"daddy will be home soon that's all for tonight" . Queen arola said

Before long they both heard footsteps and the king entered, The king,in his late forties, exuded a sense of matured elegance. His piercing blue eyes, though slightly weathered by time, still sparkled with a hint of youthful vigor. His once-chiseled features, now subtly softened by age, spoke of a man who had been remarkably handsome in his youth. The faint lines etched on his face, a testament to years of wisdom and experience, only added to his distinguished demeanor.

"Who missed me?" he asked with a big smile.

"Daddy!" Acia exclaimed as she ran to hug him. " He hugged her back tightly to keep her from falling, kissed her twice, and then lifted her up to take her to bed.

King Derek, known for his kindness, rules the human realm. He looks after his subjects and defends them against night creatures and evil immortals. He has fostered friendly relations among the three realms.

He wed Princess Arola, a fairy and the princess of the fairy realm. Their love story is remarkable, as many opposed their union, including the council, which refused to allow their marriage due to her immortality. Despite the significant resistance, he remained determined and married her. Over time, the council came to accept their union because Queen Arola is so compassionate and deeply cares for her people.

"Guess what," King Frederick said to his daughter with a smile.

"What is it?" she asked.

"A pen! You want to give me a pen?" She shouted.

"Papa, you always give me a royal pen for my birthday".she pouted her lips

"No, this one is different," King Frederick replied, showing her a pendant.

"It looks beautiful," she said, gazing at it in awe.

"This pendant has been passed down through generations, and now you're old enough to have it."

"But Papa, I'm still your little girl," she smiled.

"No, you're not a little kid anymore—you're eight years old now." Queen arola said

Acia smiled as she admired the butterfly-shaped pendant, feeling an inexplicable attraction to it.

"But why are you giving it to me now, Dad?

It's yours, so remember to take it with you when you're alone, King," Derek said. "Make sure you keep it safe." Although her mother was smiling, there was a hidden sadness beneath her cheerful exterior.

Suddenly, two guards burst in after the door was slammed shut. "I apologize for interrupting, Your Majesty, but it's time," one of the guards informed the king.

"Wait, your father has something to take care of," he said quickly to her.

"It's not safe, husband. Let me come with you," Arola whispered.

"It's dangerous, so you need to stay with our child," he replied.

She responded gently, "No, I can use magic. Please let me go with you."

"Stay hidden under the bed and don't come out, even if you hear noises," King Derek turned to acia and said firmly.

Although little Acia didn't understand what was happening, she sensed that something was wrong.

Even though little Acia didn't fully understand what was happening, she sensed that something was wrong.

"Acia, no matter what, make sure you have this pendant with you." Her father gave her a serious smile and kissed her forehead, while her mother added, "Remember, we love you."

Her parents cherished her because she had always been obedient since she was very young, even when other kids would cry and misbehave; she consistently followed the rules.

Clutching the pendant, Acia obediently crawled under the bed. She stayed there, scared, as she heard voices in her room. Remembering her mother's advice to keep the pendant safe, Acia held it tightly against her.

Acia trembled as she held the pedant as if her life depended on it. She looked under the bed, she heard the man's voice.

She knew something was wrong, why were they looking everywhere, she thought. The man held the flashlight and he shone it in her eyes, but strangely the man kept looking but didn't seem to notice her.

"Which superpower saved her"she wondered

She about to move when her hand hit one of the boxes under the bed

"What's that" one of the man said

Acia closed her eyes in panic she knows she us doomed this time
