Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – An Invincible Pull

Gil blinked. "Wait, seriously? Just like that?"

He'd complained a little, and suddenly he had a system and a starter pack?

"Too easy. If all I have to do is curse at the sky to get freebies, I'll be ruling this world in a week."

Excited, he asked, "System, if I keep swearing, do I get more Newcomer Packs?"

"Negative. Host may only receive one Newcomer Pack. To grow stronger, you must obtain mystery energy, convert it into exchange points, and redeem new abilities. No shortcuts."

"…Figures."

So much for cursing his way to the top.

"Fine then. Open the Newcomer Pack!"

"Reward: 1,000 exchange points."

Gil waited, grinning. Silence followed.

"…That's it?"

He nearly collapsed. Other transmigrators got legendary starter bundles. He got pocket change.

"What can 1,000 points even buy? A bowl of noodles?"

Still, the system itself was terrifying. Raising any power to max? If he had fire, he could roast Akainu. If he had light, he could blitz Kizaru. The possibilities made his blood surge.

"Ding-dong. Maxable ability detected. Raise to maximum?"

"Yes!"

"Ding. Congratulations, host. Gravitation has been raised to MAX."

BOOM!

The ground exploded around him. A crater a hundred meters wide opened beneath his feet, cracks racing outward like lightning.

Gil plummeted fifty meters straight down.

"…What the hell just happened?"

He realized with shock: it wasn't the earth pulling him down. It was his gravitation, now maxed out, dragging everything toward him.

And yet, his body felt no pain.

"Host, you spent 1,000 points to raise gravitation to maximum. Your attractive force upon the world has increased dramatically."

Gil's throat went dry. "…So what, I'm just going to keep sinking until I hit the planet's core?"

"Negative. You simply have not adapted yet. Gravitation can be expanded or withdrawn at will. Once you focus, you will be able to control it freely."

The system's calm voice echoed in his mind.

Of course, mastering this kind of power required practice.

Gil sat cross-legged at the bottom of the crater, eyes closed, feeling the flow of gravity all around him—especially the constant pull of the earth itself.

By noon, the sun burned overhead.

A dirt-streaked young man with short, messy hair crawled out of the pit. Gil took a deep breath of fresh air and, for the first time since arriving in this world, felt a flicker of peace.

"In the world of One Piece, anyone without strength is just cannon fodder. But now… I finally have power."

BOOM!

Without warning, the calm sea erupted as a massive Sea King launched out of the water, towering like a stadium-sized monster.

Gil smirked, raised his hand like a claw, and shouted:

"Universal Pull!"

The creature's eyes went wide as if a giant invisible hand had grabbed it. With a thunderous crash, the Sea King was ripped from the water and hurled toward the island like a fired cannonball.

The ground shook violently as the beast—fifty meters long—crashed onto shore, thrashing madly, desperate to escape. But once out of the water, even a Sea King was helpless.

"Heh. Looks like lunch is served."

Gil grinned, looking almost harmless despite the carnage.

He had decided to name his max-level gravitation technique Universal Pull, after the move from Naruto, though his version was on a whole different level. Gil could adjust the strength freely; if he wanted, he could probably drag down the moon itself without breaking a sweat.

To reel in this Sea King, he had used only a fraction of his strength—barely one-hundredth. Against someone like Akainu, he could crank it up to ten-thousand and crush him instantly.

And unlike other abilities, this technique had no cooldown, no cost, no limits.

Strictly speaking, Gil was already standing at the very peak of the One Piece world.

That was the power of his system.

Systems weren't just cheats—they were omnipotent. And this one obeyed him alone.

In short? Gilgamesh could conquer the seas any time he wanted.
