The ground trembled with every step Harris took. He was no longer the man who had stood smugly behind the counter of a dusty pharmacy. His body had become a grotesque tapestry of flesh and armor, veins pulsing with sickly green light. The Kryptonite gem embedded in his chest beat like a second heart, radiating waves of poisonous energy.
Kara gasped, stumbling against the table. The glow of the crystal cut into her strength, leeching her power with every pulse. "That… thing… it's killing me…" she whispered, her voice faint.
I moved to shield her, standing firm as the monster loomed over us. Even through the Faiz Gear, I could feel it—the oppressive weight of his mutated aura. My armor hummed, Photon Streams flickering as though straining under the pressure.
Harris spread his claws wide, laughing. "Do you feel it, Rider? The future of humanity, perfected! Meta-human cells… human will… and the power of the Gene Memory! This is the new evolution of human and the new race."
His chest flared. Green lightning burst outward, tearing through the floor like roots. I leapt, pulling Kara into my arms, barely clearing the shockwave. The table shattered behind us, steel twisted as though it were paper.
"You're insane." I spat, setting Kara gently against the wall. Her eyes burned with pain, but she still managed a faint smile.
"Where are you guys running? Come here." Harris open his hands towards us and our bodies suddenly lift from the ground and fly towards him. He then hold us by chocking the neck.
Ryotaro then kicked his chest and slash across the hand holding Kara. Kara then fired the laser beam from her eyes and knocked him away from them.
"Go," she whispered. "I'll… hold on. You stop him."
I nodded, rising. The Faiz Axel Watch still gleamed at my wrist, but my body was already screaming from the earlier battle. Axel Form alone wouldn't cut it. Not against this.
The monster lunged, claws raking across the floor. I slid under, drawing the Faiz Edge, photon blade igniting with a hiss. Sparks erupted as I slashed across his arm. But the wound sealed instantly, flesh knitting back together with sickening speed.
Harris laughed, swinging backhanded. The impact slammed into my chest, hurling me across the chamber. My armor cracked, pain lancing through my ribs.
I staggered to my feet, coughing. "Damn it…"
He wasn't just strong. The Meta-human cells combined with Gene Memory made him invincible. Every strike I landed was meaningless. Kara's groans echoed in my ears. She was suffering just from being near him.
I clenched my fists. If I lost here, she wouldn't survive.
"System!" I shouted. My voice rang in the silence. "Retrieve—Faiz Blaster Gear!"
Then the air shimmered. A silver briefcase materialized before me, descending with a heavy thud. My heart leapt.
I reached down, fingers brushing over the familiar code lock. The lid snapped open, revealing the shining scarlet-and-silver form of the Faiz Blaster. Sleek, heavy, radiating overwhelming power.
Harris paused, his monstrous grin faltering but nonchalant."What… is that?"
I didn't answer. I lifted the Faiz Phone. The phone slid into the Blaster slot with a metallic click and inputting the code.
-Awakening!
"5-5-5… ENTER."
-STANDING BY!
Energy roared to life, crimson Photon Streams blazing brighter than ever before. The armor transformed in a storm of light. Panels shifted, locking into place. Photon conduits expanded, glowing with a steady scarlet burn. A high-pitched whine filled the chamber as my form stabilized.
I stood, reborn, as Kamen Rider Faiz Blaster Form.
The ground shook under the surge of power. Kara shielded her eyes, her lips curving into a faint smile. "You… look amazing…"
I leveled the Faiz Blaster, its weight reassuring in my hands. Harris snarled, green kryptonite glow intensifying.
"Power? I AM power!" he roared, charging.
His claws crashed down, but I met them head-on. Photon Streams flared as the Blaster locked into Blade Mode, a glowing energy edge extending along its barrel. Sparks erupted as I parried his strike, slashing across his chest. This time, the wound burned, Kryptonite veins blackening around it.
"Your experiments end here!" I shouted, surging forward. My strikes rained down, every blow amplified by the Blaster's energy. Harris staggered, roaring, but still fought back with brutal force. His Kryptonite aura seared my armor, every impact rattling my bones.
He raised both claws, preparing to crush me. Ryotaro inputting some codes and the jet behind him take him to the sky.
-FAIZ BLASTER—TAKE OFF!"
Ryotaro then slash him from all kind of directions. Harris then make the debris float around him like a shield. Ryotaro then press the enter button and the blade shining with red Photon energy.
-EXCEED CHARGE!
Photon energy condensed, flooding the weapon. The Blaster roared, panels opening as crimson light spiraled outward.
I leveled the barrel, energy screaming at the tip. "This ends now!"
Harris started to panic and run out of the pharmacy place.
A beam of pure crimson light slashing into his chest. The Kryptonite gem cracked, shrieking with unstable energy. Harris screamed, body writhing as the beam consumed him. The ground split, crimson shockwaves tearing the lab apart.
Then, with a final howl, his body detonated in a storm of light and shards. The Kryptonite gem shattered, fragments dissolving into dust.
Kara slumped against the wall, relief flooding her face. "You… you did it…"
Suddenly, the monster get up again with difficulty but the injuries are starting to heal and his body is hot like a sun, steams are coming out from the monster body.
"Hahahahaha.....you can't kill me. You are only making my body adapt. My body is perfect."
"If we can't kill you, we will make you wish you are dead." Kara then gut punch him. And start to use combo attack against his head. She then clapped his head with both of her hands and slammed him to the ground. She then started to punch out with all her strength. The ground tremble and the nearby building started to shake from her punches.
Ryotaro just watches the situation and walks slowly towards the enraged Kryptonian who started to get better with the sun rises. Ryotaro then pat her shoulder and said.
"Let stop here. I need to remove the Gene Memory from his body and transformed him back."
"Okay. Now, I feel a lot better." With that Kara kicked him out.
Ryotaro then whisper in his mind.
'System, how should I remove the Memory?'
[Host only need to place the hand near the Memory slot area. Leave the rest to me, host.]
Ryotaro exhale and place his hand. The Gene Memory then slowly coming out from the monster's body and the monster's body becomes to change back into something weaker. He then asked the system how to change back these monsters into human again. When he knows what to do, he tells Kara to gather all of the monsters near him.
"So, this is the last one. What are you going to do?" Kara asked with curious expression.
Ryotaro then transformed himself into Kamen Rider Joker using LostDriver. He then inserted the Gene Memory into the Maximum slot.
-Gene!
-Maximum Drive!
Power rippled outward, not destructive but restorative. Streams of light spread through the chamber, touching the fallen monsters one by one. Their twisted forms convulsed, then shrank. Flesh peeled away, revealing the humans buried beneath the mutations. One by one, they collapsed, unconscious but breathing.
Ryotaro deactivated the Driver, his body returning to normal with a weary sigh.The monsters were people again. Kara was safe.
I stumbled toward her, offering a hand. She smiled faintly, slipping her fingers into mine.
"Come on," I said, voice rough but steady. "You need to get back home. Your sister is very worried about you."
"What about you, Ryotaro?"
"I am waiting for the police and Justice League's members to arrive."
"Okay. We will chat later. Bye bye." With that Kara flew towards her home and Ryotaro watching her going back muttered silently.
"What a long night?"
