Chapter 41 - The Lannister Family Feast

In Casterly Rock in the Westerlands, the Lannister family was gathered for a meal. The tall Tywin Lannister sat at an angle in his chair, not eating, staring silently at the letter in his hand.

1. Both sides spread rumors that the King and Cersei had quarreled and the Queen had angrily returned to the Westerlands with the children.

2. Secretly execute Cersei, Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen.

3. Tywin Lannister will forgive the treasury 800,000 gold dragons of debt and privately compensate Robert with 1,500,000 gold dragons.

4. Hand over the Demon Mountain.

News has arrived from King's Landing: Cersei's confidants in the Red Keep have been secretly executed by Robert. The confidants received the message and went to Dragonstone. Someone saw Witt also leave King's Landing alone on a smuggling ship. After that, these Cersei confidants never returned, and no one on Dragonstone has seen them either. This is Robert's warning to Tywin.

"Handing over the Mountain is no problem. Amory Lodge, who fought alongside the Mountain, has escaped this time, since his reputation isn't as great as the Mountain's! Moreover, it was the Westerlands who spread the word about the Mountain. The Mountain has offended too many people, and they want to use this incident to get rid of him through Dorne. But if they lose one good dog, they can just raise another. The Westerlands will also send Amory Lodge to find him."

Now, the second point is a bit of a dilemma. Renly is still waiting in Lannister Harbor. If I don't execute the four, once Renly returns, Witt will personally come to Casterly Rock, which would be a huge problem. Casterly Rock might even be lost. And if I don't execute the four, Robert will send troops too…"

Tywin glanced at the children out of the corner of his eye, his hand habitually touching the gray-black pocket watch, feeling the lion relief engraved on it with his thumb.

Jaime, the eldest son, and Tyrion, the youngest son, dared not speak and ate their meal in silence. Cersei, the daughter, was helping Myrcella and Tommen eat. The maid who usually looked after the children was not there.

The dining room was very quiet, with only the ticking of the clock and the clinking of cutlery.

"When are we going back to King's Landing?" It's so quiet, but there are always people talking. Joffrey doesn't like quiet.

Tywin raised his head and glanced sideways at the blond, blue-eyed Joffrey.

Tyrion looked into his father's eyes and thought:

[If Uncle Kevan Lannister were here, he definitely would—well, never mind, Uncle Kevan's family has been saying they're busy hosting Renly in Lannister Harbor and haven't come to Casterly Rock for a week, which is bad luck.]

Seeing that no one responded, Joffrey continued:

"Every time the fishermen from the port below come back from fishing, the air here smells of fish."

Tywin placed his hands on the armrests of the chair, staring intently at Joffrey without blinking, his pale green eyes having shrunk to their smallest size.

"Ahem~" James coughed.

"See? Even Uncle Jaime can't stand this smell. Is this how the Kingsguard are?"

Cersei continued feeding Tommen with a cold smile, completely oblivious to what was happening here. Tywin Lannister was still staring at Joffrey, his eyes already bloodshot.

Upon seeing this, Tyrion Lannister immediately got up and dragged Joffrey away.

Joffrey, being young and weaker than Tyrion, struggled, shouting, "You dwarf, let me go! Get away! Monster!"

Tywin grabbed the plate in front of him, slammed it onto Jaime's head, smashed it to pieces, and then turned and left with the letter in his hand.

Two guards came in, one sitting down and the other on the right, and dragged Joffrey away.

"You lowly soldiers dare to grab me? I am a prince, my father is the king, I will have my father cut off your heads!"

Once they were a distance away, Tyrion spoke: "How long has it been? At this rate, I'm going to have a nervous breakdown!"

"What can we do now that things have come to this?" James said bitterly, picking up the broken pieces of the plate from his body and placing them on the dining table.

"You almost started a war! And did you even consider how your father felt? He had to be both a grandfather and a maternal grandfather."

Tyrion was angry, but his tone remained calm.

"My dear sister, I can't believe you two were caught red-handed by Robert, and you even dared to admit it in front of Robert and his brother! What were you thinking at the time?"

"It's all the fault of those two bastards, Witt and Renly!" Cersei roared.

Tyrion, hearing his sister's words, didn't want to talk to her anymore and turned to Jaime, saying:

"After deducting debts and compensation, the total is 2.3 million gold coins. My father has almost lost all his hair during this time! Let's eat quickly, or we might have to eat wood next month."

"It's not that bad. I've checked the family accounts. Paying it off in 10 years is no problem." James had a small cut on his head from the plate, and blood was flowing down his cheek. He didn't wipe it away, but just used his hands to clean the plate fragments off his body bit by bit.

"My brother is worth 500,000 gold dragons, that's a whopping 2.3 million gold dragons! Give me that money to find women and have children, and I can produce an army to crush Westeros!" Tyrion could no longer bear it and went back to his bedroom alone.

In a corner of the ruins of Dragon's Lair in King's Landing, the rubble had long been cleared away, and a three-story building had been constructed using the existing stone. Colorful magic circles flashed on the outer wall of the courtyard from time to time, and there were no gates or guards on the wall.

Everyone knows that this is the magic school established by the kingdom's chief archmage, Witt. On a table under the eaves of the three-story building, there is a booklet, ink, and a pen. Witt posted a notice on the wall stating that anyone who writes their name in the booklet, regardless of their status, will be accepted as an apprentice at the magic school.

Some wanted to go in and befriend Witt and Renly, while others thought they had extraordinary talent and wanted to learn magic. But once they reached the entrance, they would enter an illusion, and when they came to their senses, they would have already reached the foot of Dragon's Lair Hill. Climbing over the wall was even more impossible. Everyone remembered that the corpse on the wall two years ago was almost burned to ashes but was still crackling with electricity.

So now, whether nobles or commoners, people in King's Landing just watch from afar, or bet on how many unlucky souls will walk down Dragon's Lair today, and what kind of grotesque things that little girl from school has drawn on their faces.

In the school's backyard, Victor was lying on a rocking chair in the pergola reading a book, but actually he was looking at his own attribute panel.

Name: Wit Baratheon

Age: 16

Dragonborn: Fus-Ro-Dah, Unyielding Power 3/3 (Ancient Mastery)

Remaining Dragon Souls: 4

Looking at his attribute panel, Witt recalled the results of his exploration of this broken system:

Skills are divided into 5 levels: Novice, Apprentice, Intermediate, Expert, and Master. Upgrading requires learning and practice, which took 15 years. Other transmigrators would have several children by then.

Its vitality is 5.5 times that of an adult, meaning it can withstand a beating. It can wear down 5 people in a back-and-forth fight and still have half a life left. Even if its heart is pierced, it won't die instantly. Even if its limbs are severed, it will bleed less and can grow back with intermediate regeneration techniques. I didn't dare to try the following or beheading scenarios.

Endurance allows you to maintain your physical fitness for longer periods; running together can exhaust several people.

The combination of life and endurance brings an average of seven times the strength of an adult, as demonstrated by weightlifting.

In the Dragonborn sub-panel, the dragon shouts of the three dragon souls are roughly the same power as in the game. However, by learning and researching dragon language incantations, their power will increase, with the highest level being Ancient Mastery, which allows the dragon shouts to reach the power of the ancient dragonborn in the game.
