Chapter 3 – Whispers at School
By the third week, school felt different. When Andrei walked through the gates, whispers followed.
"Is that… Andrei Van?" "No way, he used to be so skinny!" "He's kinda hot now…"
A pair of girls in his class blushed as he passed. Andrei ignored them, scrolling on his phone. He
wasn't here for attention.
But his classmates kept staring.
"Look at his shoulders." "He grew taller, right?"
From the back, the bullies who once mocked him froze. Andrei's Green Dragon Eyes flickered,
releasing a chilling aura.
Goosebumps swept the room.
"What the hell was that?!" one whispered.
The bullies quickly looked away, pale-faced.
At the front of the class sat her—the most beautiful girl in school, famous for her looks. She
sneaked a glance at Andrei, cheeks heating.
"…That's not the same Andrei from before," she whispered to herself.
Her own Sword Saint System chimed in her mind.
[Observation: The boy has been chosen as well.]
Her heart skipped. So… he's a player too.
Andrei? He kept scrolling his phone, acting like nothing had changed.
