"Wei Wei." Yan Hong Yu smiled when he saw his granddaughter walking over. He reached out to hold her hand before turning to his son-in-law. "Let's go into my office and talk." His eyes shifted to Ning Yuan briefly before he turned to Ning Li Ming with a look. "Wei Wei…" His eyes turned gentler as he looked at his granddaughter. "Come with me."
"Oh." Ning Wei nodded.
Seeing the two heading towards the office, Ning Yuan subconsciously took a step forward, wanting to follow them. The slight tug on her left arm made her pause.
Ning Yuan turned around and gave her father a questioning look.
"Where are you heading?" Ning Li Ming asked. "Go and look for your mother and your little brother."
"Dad, why can't I go and listen as well?"
"The Old Man had something to discuss," Ning Li Ming said. "Be obedient." He patted his daughter's head. "You know his temper. He won't be happy if you come with me." He released his daughter's arm and left, leaving Ning Yuan alone in the hallway.
