Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: Terrifying Evil of Humanity, Tiamat.

(The scene shifts between locations, heavy with the weight of impending doom)

Fuyuki Church.

Kotomine Kirei stood silently in the shadows, his usual placid demeanor shattered. A rare, genuine horror flickered in his eyes as he watched the revelations of the King's past—a history seemingly erased from all records. What is the truth behind this? He pondered, a deep unease settling in his soul. What game is being played?

Within Chaldea.

A stunned silence had fallen over the command room. The staff stared, dumbfounded, at the image of an utterly unscathed Gorgon. The sacrifices of Leonidas and Ushiwakamaru, so monumental and heroic, had amounted to nothing. A chilling question echoed in every mind: How can we possibly defeat an enemy like this? Is this a crisis we can even survive?

Dr. Romani Archaman's face had paled considerably. His eyes darted around the room, scanning the faces of the staff. A wave of relief washed over him when he confirmed no one was paying him any special attention. Too many slips... I've made too many mistakes, he thought, his internal panic barely contained. I might as well have 'King Solomon' tattooed on my forehead!

[The narrative on the screen continues]

The tide seemed to turn, albeit briefly, with the timely arrival of the Chain of Heaven, persuading the enraged Gorgon to retreat for the moment.

Back in Uruk, King Gilgamesh, ever the strategist, devised a plan to recruit the allied goddesses to humanity's cause. The first target: the fickle Goddess of Venus, Ishtar.

Their meeting at her temple was fraught with tension. Persuasion seemed futile against the goddess's capricious nature... until Fujimaru Ritsuka, in a moment of either sheer genius or desperation, produced a vast pile of glittering gems and threw them at her feet.

The Goddess of Venus was completely and utterly stunned. Her resolve crumbled, her thought processes short-circuited by the dazzling wealth. She was, quite simply, bribed.

(Outside the video, in Fuyuki, Tohsaka Rin's eyes turned a shade of emerald green. Losing all composure, she practically threw herself at the light screen, a wordless cry of avarice on her lips. The Red Archer beside her could only sigh in profound silence. This woman... she's truly hopeless...)

Next, the Sun Goddess appeared. To prevent her from bringing further ruin upon humanity, Fujimaru and his group confronted her. It was not through force, but through Ritsuka's raw, unwavering courage as a mere human, that he managed to touch the heart of the solar deity, convincing her to stand with them.

Yet, amidst these diplomatic victories, a new crisis emerged: King Gilgamesh, exhausted from his ceaseless labor, fell into a deep slumber on his throne—and awoke not in his palace, but in the Underworld.

To rescue their king, Fujimaru and Mash ventured into the land of the dead. There, they met Ereshkigal, the gloomy and powerful Goddess of the Underworld. The entity they initially encountered was but a shadow, a manifestation of her duty and loneliness.

Through Fujimaru's sincere words and unwavering spirit, they helped the goddess remember her true self. She emerged in her full glory, possessing the same face as Ishtar but with long, flowing golden hair and deep, ruby-like eyes. Clad in magnificent red velvet, she was both gorgeous and indestructible. This goddess, who deep down loved humanity dearly, also joined their cause.

Now, with three powerful goddesses on their side, they prepared for their final confrontation with Gorgon.

Saint Seiya World

"The myths of that world... they feel strangely familiar," Seiya murmured, watching the divine struggles unfold.

Having faced Hades, Poseidon, and Apollo themselves, the Saints understood the weight of battling gods, even if the power systems were different.

"Seiya, what's wrong?" Athena asked, noticing his pensive look as she held the Gold Cloth.

Seiya shook his head, offering a tender smile to the goddess he served. "It's nothing, Miss Saori..." he said, though his thoughts lingered on the parallels between their battles and the one unfolding on the screen.

[The Final Confrontation]

The battle against Gorgon reached its climax. Anna, the mysterious girl with the same Mystic Eyes as the goddess, found her own heart thrown into turmoil by their connection. Clutching her head in agony, she was quickly overwhelmed and defeated.

Gorgon roared, her voice shaking the very earth:

[I am Tiamat... The Primordial Goddess!]

But Anna, blood trickling from her lips, weakly raised her head and retorted:

[No...]

[The female monster of the Shapeless Isle... the hero-killer... That is you, Gorgon...]

[There's no way you can ever escape that island...]

Gorgon's eyes widened. A horrific memory—of becoming a monster and devouring her own two sisters—flashed before her eyes, reflected in her pupils. The psychological shock made her tremble uncontrollably.

In that moment of vulnerability, she loosened her grip. Anna seized the opportunity, swinging her scythe in a final, desperate arc towards Gorgon's chest.

A web of glowing cracks spread across Gorgon's body.

[Goodbye... other me...] Anna whispered as both she and Gorgon dissolved into motes of light and vanished from the battlefield.

A moment of fragile hope was shattered by an urgent transmission from Dr. Romani: the Singularity had not been resolved. The core threat remained.

Before anyone could process this, the environment itself began to scream. The distant ocean, once blue, was now a horrifying, spreading scarlet. Where this crimson tide touched, all life perished instantly, leaving behind a silent sea of death.

The mage Merlin, even as he was caught in a plot and began to fade, delivered his final, crucial message to Fujimaru Ritsuka:

[Tell this to King Gilgamesh...]

[Originally, only the Seven Crown-Level Beasts could oppose it... The Beast of Inhibition that devours human reason...]

[The Source of Life... Mother of Origins...]

[One of the Seven Evils of Humanity—the Beast of Original Sin...]

[Has already awakened...]

With those apocalyptic words, Merlin vanished into points of light.

And then, they saw it. Arising from the center of the scarlet sea was a figure thousands of meters tall. She had long, flowing blue hair, serene purple eyes, and a face of breathtaking beauty. This was only her upper half; her full height was unimaginable. This was Tiamat, the true enemy.

"Damn it! Isn't that the woman from the very beginning? It was her all along!"

"But she's... she's enormous!!!"

"She's... kind of beautiful, though..."

"Will you shut up?! This is about saving humanity, not your superficial aesthetic critiques!"

Panic and despair surged through the audiences of all worlds. This was no longer a battle against a goddess; it was a confrontation with the concept of annihilation itself. This was the true end of mankind.

[Return to Uruk - The Final Stand]

Returning to Uruk, Fujimaru and Mash were met with a scene of utter carnage. The city was being massacred by Lahmu, monstrous children of Tiamat. The air was filled with the sounds of despair—screams, the clash of weapons, and the roar of flames. Severed limbs and blood painted the streets; Uruk was drowning in a hell of its own making.

Rushing to the palace, Fujimaru reported Merlin's final words to a weary but resolute Gilgamesh.

Fujimaru, confused and terrified, asked:

[What are the Evils of Humanity?]

The ancient king's expression was grim. There was a fundamental difference in their understanding; this was a truth not yet known in Fujimaru's time.

[The Evils of Humanity, literally 'Human Stains,' refer to the calamities born to destroy humankind,]

Gilgamesh explained, his voice heavy with the weight of eons.

[Humanity grows, evolves, becomes stronger... and these Evils are like a cancer growing within that society, eating away at it from the inside.]

[But you must understand this, Fujimaru Ritsuka...]

The king's scarlet eyes bore into him.

[The evils of humanity are not the evil that seeks to destroy mankind. They are the evil that mankind itself must destroy!]

[Tiamat is one of these Seven Evils of Original Sin, Beast II: Tiamat of Regression.]

Now, they had to face the Creator Goddess of this primordial world. The mother of all life had become the embodiment of its end. The final battle for the fate of humanity had begun.
