As the two of them talked, Noreen was dragged ashore by Girard.
At that moment, Noreen lay there like a limp ragdoll, her body soaked and weak as she was tossed down at Nevaeh's feet.
"Is she okay?" Nevaeh asked, concern lacing her voice.
Girard replied calmly, "She's fine. Just swallowed a bit of water and fainted from the scare. She'll wake up soon."
Nevaeh nodded, relief washing over her. She was about to say something else when a cold breeze blew past, making her shiver and sneeze softly.
Before she could brush it off, Cassius, sitting right beside her, immediately reached out, his hand wrapping around her arm. Without a word, he guided her into the car.
Once they were inside, Frank approached, holding out a few neatly folded sets of clothes. "Young Master, I brought the clothes for you and Young Mistress."
He handed one bag to Nevaeh before Cassius closed the door behind them.
His deep voice carried a faint command. "Change into these. You'll catch a cold otherwise."
