Chapter 1 - Set Up by a Jerk and a Scheming Girl

In the pitch-black, shadowy room, the noise was relentless. Tears slowly trickled down the tightly shut eyes of Anna.

She never imagined that her boyfriend of two years would send her to a stranger's bed!

Her eyes stayed closed, her face filled with despair.

Her clothes were torn apart, and hot, heavy tears slid down her cheeks, but she didn't dare cry out loud.

After forcing herself to stand, she ran out without even looking back at the man who had stolen her innocence.

As soon as Anna left, a tall woman stepped into the doorway.

Her face was covered with striking, heavy makeup, and as she watched Anna's fading figure, her eyes were full of mockery.

Back then, her mother had been George's mistress, and she herself was the illegitimate daughter everyone despised. Meanwhile, Anna was the respected young lady.

But things had flipped. After Anna's mother was thrown out, George married her mother, Grace.

Now she was the official young lady of the Ives family, while Anna was left with nothing, ike a stray dog!

She had even paid Daniel, Anna's boyfriend, half a million to send Anna to Zach's bed.

Zach, the only son of the White family, came from one of the city's most prestigious families.

If she could tie herself to him, endless wealth and luxury would be hers!

Unfortunately, Zach might have been a notorious playboy, but he liked his partners virgin.

That was why she planned this scheme, sacrificing Anna's purity to secure her own future.

The room was dark and filled with a strange, sharp smell. Tina quietly made her way to the bed, slipping out of her clothes and sliding under the blanket.

No sooner had she settled in than the man beside her stirred awake. Feeling the presence of a woman, his long, dark eyes flashed with danger.

His brows furrowed as he turned toward her. In an instant, he flipped over, his hand clamping tightly around her throat, his voice low and cold.

"Who are you?"

Tina froze.

Wasn't the man supposed to be Zach, the young master of the White family? Why was it Harry instead?

Harry, the current head of the Luke family, was someone even a hundred White families couldn't compare to.

He was a man who could control the world with just a flick of his hand.

Nine months later.

Because of her huge belly carrying triplets, Anna had to get a C-section earlier than expected.

The delivery room echoed with the cries of a newborn, while Anna lay unconscious on the hospital bed, her face pale and drained.

A nurse carried out a baby boy, where Tina was waiting.

"Miss, here's the child. But the mother was carrying triplets. There are still two more inside."

Tina looked down at the wrinkled little baby in her arms with slight disgust. But the thought of marrying into a wealthy family because of him softened her face.

A cruel glint flashed in her eyes as she smirked and said, "Make sure the other two are… taken care of quietly."

---

Five years later, at the airport.

Anna was dragging a big suitcase with one hand while talking on her phone with the other.

Beside her were two adorable children, a boy and a girl.

The boy held his sister's hand protectively, his face calm and cautious.

The little girl's face, however, was full of innocence. She tugged on her brother's hand and asked sweetly,

"Brother, when are we going to see Great-Grandma?" Natalie's eyes sparkled with excitement.

Kyle smiled knowingly. He understood exactly what his little sister was thinking.

Even though their great-grandmother was old, her cooking was still the best. Every time their mom took them to visit, there was always delicious food waiting.

"Before we got on the plane, I called Great-Grandma. She said she's already prepared everything, so tomorrow we'll have plenty to eat," Kyle reassured her.

Hearing about the food, Natalie's face instantly lit up with joy.

Meanwhile, Anna stood nearby, her expression dark with anger.

Her hands tightened slightly, and her voice lowered, "Don't bother. My marriage is none of your business!"

Even though the phone wasn't on speaker, the furious voice on the other end was loud enough to hear: "Anna, I'm your father, George! Your mother passed away early, so I have the final say in your marriage!"

Hearing him mention her mother, a wave of rage surged through Anna.

Years ago, George had divorced her mother for his mistress, Grace, and abandoned her mother with nothing.

Heartbroken, her mother passed away within a few short years.

Anna had grown up with her mother, and after she died, it was her grandmother who raised her alone.

George never once stepped in. And now, he dared to call and claim he had arranged her marriage?

"You have no right to mention my mother!" Anna replied coldly.

"Anna, if you don't show up at the Ives family's house tonight, don't expect to see your grandmother again!" George threatened.

Anna froze. She never expected him to stoop so low as to use her grandmother to threaten her!

Her grandmother's health had been weak for years, but because Anna had been working overseas in a demanding job, she could only send money back and visit during holidays.

This time, her company's expansion into the local market brought her back as the international fashion chief, finally giving her the chance to look after her grandmother while bringing her two kids along.

"You…" Anna started, but the call suddenly cut off.

Her hand trembled as she gripped the phone tightly, her anger showing before she could hide it.

Just then, she bumped into a tall, imposing figure.

Quickly regaining her balance, she immediately apologized, "I'm sorry, I didn't see where I was going."

After stepping back, Anna finally saw the man clearly.

He was dressed in a sleek black suit that highlighted his tall, lean frame.

Her eyes moved upward from his narrow waist until they landed on his face.

His features were strikingly handsome, his nose sharp, his lips pressed into a firm line, carrying a faint edge.

His deep, distant eyes locked onto hers with a touch of impatience.

Anna realized she had been too distracted with her call and had accidentally bumped into him.

Judging by his cold demeanor, he was clearly annoyed. She quickly apologized again.

"I'm really sorry, sir. I was on the phone and wasn't paying attention," she said sincerely.

Harry squinted slightly, studying the woman in front of him.

She wore a beige wool coat, her face bare without makeup, her slightly wavy hair tied high in a ponytail. She looked fresh and pure.

Beside her stood two children, and Harry's gaze lingered on the boy.

The child's face carried an uncanny resemblance to his own, especially those eyes…
