War!
The war between the Knights of Favonius and the Fatui escalated into a white-hot phase the moment the two armies clashed.
Due to Mondstadt's early preparations, Klee's bombs ambushed the enemy in the initial stages of the war, causing heavy losses and severely damaging their morale.
However, the Fatui, clearly well-trained, quickly adjusted their soldiers' mindsets under the command of their officers, launching coordinated attacks in small teams.
A complete Fatui advance squad consists of six members: a Geochanter Bracer, a Pyroslinger Bracer, a Hydrogunner Legionnaire, a Cryogunner Legionnaire, an Anemoboxer Vanguard, and an Electrohammer Vanguard.
Two heavy fighters, two heavy tanks, one ADC, and one support – the configuration is extremely rational. More importantly, the elemental weapons wielded by these six individuals are all different, encompassing a full six elements.
Therefore, the more coordinated a Fatui squad is, the stronger it becomes, as they can adapt to different enemies with six elements, causing various elemental reaction DMG to maximize the DMG dealt to the enemy.
Even a Vision holder, if encountered alone by a complete Fatui advance squad, could very likely be overwhelmed.
The battlefield at the main gate outside Mondstadt was filled with the radiance of elemental power, with elements in extreme disarray.
This level of combat is actually not friendly to most Knights of Favonius who cannot wield elemental power; those who truly shine are Mondstadt's high-tier combatants.
Lisa, the Witch of Purple Rose, should be considered Mondstadt's strongest mage. She stood on Mondstadt's city wall, summoning a lightning-flashing lantern towards the Fatui outside the city. The lantern enveloped an area, continuously releasing powerful lightning within it.
After summoning the lantern, Lisa's hands continuously generated spherical lightning bolts, firing them at the Fatui. If she saw Fatui gathered together, Lisa would also, after charging and chanting, summon lightning to strike them.
Lightning, by its very nature, is one of the most offense-focused elements. If one were unfortunate enough to be struck by Lisa's lightning, even if they didn't die, their body would be severely paralyzed, rendering them unable to fight.
At the same time, Lisa's apprentice, the future Knight of Boreas, the wolf-boy Razor, also rode out to meet the enemy. With a roar, a giant Electro Wolf appeared on his body, both protecting him and assisting him in coordinated attacks, frantically slashing at the invading foes.
However, looking at Razor's appearance, it somewhat resembled a mini-version of Susanoo... Outside Mondstadt, besides the valiantly performing Razor, there was another individual with the might of a thousand men: Noelle, the maid of the Knights of Favonius.
Noelle, with her innate divine strength combined with her Geo Vision, is a character who has maxed out both strength and defense. She summoned a protective Geo armor, brandished her greatsword, and plunged into the Fatui-filled battlefield, charging in and out seven times, like a humanoid Gundam.
The concentrated attacks of the Fatui advance squad bounced off her indestructible breastplate like mere tickles. Seeing more and more Fatui surround her, Noelle directly channeled Geo elemental power, condensing the strength of bedrock onto her weapon, instantly doubling the length of her greatsword.
Subsequently, Noelle's signature Death Spin, a merciless whirlwind of destruction, reappeared, cruelly harvesting the lives of the Fatui soldiers.
In addition, Amber's unerring archery and continuously deployed Baron Bunnies always managed to resolve critical situations at crucial moments.

Every Knight is contributing their strength to protect Mondstadt.
As for the Spark Knight Klee... you actually want to send a child of a few years old to the battlefield? Do you think Teyvat is the Naruto World?
Using her homemade bombs to attack people is already the limit of what Jean can tolerate; if Klee were to personally go to the battlefield to bomb people, she would never agree, even if it meant her death.
Therefore, Klee was the only member of the Knights of Favonius who did not go to the battlefield tonight... As the battle outside Mondstadt entered a stalemate, the Knights of Favonius, who were initially at an advantage, gradually began to show signs of fatigue. In contrast, the Fatui, relying on their numerical and weapon advantages, fought with increasing ferocity.
There was no other way; currently, there are only a few Vision holders in the Knights of Favonius who can wield elemental power. Although Jean temporarily brought in the six-star Pyro Archon Bennett, the chuunibyou Princess Fischl, and the astrologist Mona, who is so poor she can barely afford food, to assist.
But facing the surging tide of Fatui soldiers, it was clearly a drop in the bucket. After all, the elemental power wielded by Vision holders is not inexhaustible; every bit used is one less, and there's simply no time to recover.
It's like a mage without a blue buff; even if not a mage, a person's stamina is limited.
What's more, there was another battlefield on the side gate of Mondstadt, which forced Jean to divert some troops to defend the side gate. In this situation, it only worsened the already understaffed Knights of Favonius.
It must be said that the Fatui's two-pronged attack strategy was the optimal solution for the Knights of Favonius' current predicament.
Soon, the Knights of Favonius members outside Mondstadt, under friendly cover, re-entered Mondstadt, preparing to fight by relying on the sturdy and tall city walls.
Inside Mondstadt, Barbara, the Deaconess of the Church of Favonius and Acting Grand Master Jean's younger sister, was urgently treating the wounded. Barbara even used her singing to lift the spirits of the patients.
Indeed, for ordinary Knights of Favonius without Visions, this level of combat was still too strenuous. Not to mention the risk of being affected by unknown AOE, the chaotic elements outside Mondstadt alone were enough to make ordinary people feel physiologically uncomfortable.
Barbara saw her sister return to Mondstadt covered in blood and thought she was injured. She quickly ran over and asked, "Sis... Acting Grand Master Jean, are you injured? Where are you hurt? I'll heal you."
Jean just shook her head and said, "I'm fine, this is all enemy blood. The enemy is too numerous; we can't continue to fight head-on. We'll rely on the city walls and conduct a defensive battle.
Barbara, how are the wounded?"
Barbara's face first showed a sigh of relief, then she said with a dejected expression, "Twelve Knights have died, and twenty-six Knights have sustained injuries of varying degrees, six of whom are seriously wounded and have lost the ability to fight again."
