Cursed Star (Purple)
Introduction: An Uma Musume bearing the Curse of the Arc de Triomphe. How many G1 races has she won to date, and how many years has she spent galloping across the turf? There is no such thing as an eternal Uma Musume, and she is no exception.
Having shouldered the Cursed Star, this Uma Musume has entered her decline.
Every time she competes, her overall attributes will drop by one rank. However, as long as she refrains from racing, this period of decline might be sustained for a long while.

"System, you're definitely messing with me..."
Seeing this panel and the newly added skill, even Dream Weaver couldn't help but mutter the words aloud in a low, frustrated breath.
In her last scenario, the skills granted were at least double-edged.
While "Blueblood" had trapped her in the Northern family curse, it had objectively broken through her limits and accelerated her training efficiency.
But this "Cursed Star" was an entirely negative skill!
This was the first time Dream Weaver had encountered a skill with zero upside, further convincing her that the system was playing a prank on her. She re-read the effect, calculating the cost in her head.
"Every race drops my stats by a full rank. Win one, and my Speed and Stamina hit A+. Two races, and they're B+. If I win three... I'll be down to a mere C+."
"And that's not even accounting for Power and Wit!"
The thought of winning three consecutive races only to have her Power and Intelligence rot away to E-rank—returning her to the level of a fresh debutante—made her shudder.
"It looks like winning five G1 races is out of the question."
"You're trying a bit too hard to bump up the difficulty, aren't you, System?" she sighed. Even with her experience, winning a G1 with those physical stats would be an impossible dream.
Still, the mission had to be completed.
Combining the requirements of the two-phase task, she calculated that in the absolute limit, she would need to win three G1s herself. It was daunting, but not impossible.
If luck was on her side and the Uma Musume she trained won enough G1 titles, she might not even need to step onto the track herself.
"But it's never that easy..."
She shook her head.
While the level of competition she usually faced in scenario worlds was top-tier, G1-caliber Uma Musume weren't exactly a dime a dozen.
If she looked away from the high-stakes world of the Classic Triple Crown or the Autumn and Spring Tenno Sho, she knew that true G1 talent was rare.
Even at the talent-dense Central Tracen Academy, being scouted as a "potential G1 champion" was a massive compliment for a newcomer.
Furthermore, training an Uma Musume required a trainer's license.
Once she secured one, she'd have to fight off a sea of other trainers to sign a girl with championship potential. The sheer exhaustion of the task ahead left her feeling drained.
Just as she was wallowing in the thought of how long this might take, a voice chirped from behind her.
"Sorry! Kept you waiting, Dream!"
Hearing her name, Dream Weaver instinctively turned around, only to find nothing there. Just as she thought she was hearing things, something hard poked her in the chest.
"Down here! I'm down here! Why do you always lose me?!"
Dream Weaver looked down to see a girl in a broad-brimmed hat.
She had long chestnut hair with a distinctive white streak in her bangs.
She looked a bit like an Uma Musume, but since her ears were hidden, it was hard to be sure. Currently, she was poking Dream Weaver with a folding fan.
Dream Weaver knit her brows, an odd sense of recognition washing over her.
She racked her brain and finally remembered seeing this girl at a Northern family New Year's gathering. Back then, the girl had spent the whole time insisting she was the Chairwoman of Central Tracen.
"You're... that Northern Taste girl who loves pretending to be the Chairwoman, right?"
The girl gave her a look of utter exasperation and gave her another jab with the fan.
"How many times are you going to tell that joke before you're satisfied? I told you, I'm not 'claiming' to be the Chairwoman, I am the Chairwoman! And when we're out in public, you should call me Yayoi Akikawa!"
"No way."
Dream Weaver raised a hand, gesturing mockingly at Northern Taste's—or rather, Yayoi Akikawa's—height.
"Can a literal child actually be a Chairwoman?"
"Hmph! My body might look small, but my wisdom is that of a full-fledged adult! Even you should be calling me 'Big Sister,' Dream!"
Northern Taste tilted her head back and snapped her fan open, looking quite pleased with herself. Dream Weaver cocked her head and asked another skeptical question.
"But if you really are the Chairwoman..."
"Shouldn't I be calling you 'Auntie' instead?"
Northern Taste froze. The smug grin turned into a mask of stone.
After a several-second reboot, she abruptly changed the subject, pulling two sheets of paper out of nowhere and shoving them toward Dream Weaver.
"Anyway! I've hand-picked two Uma Musume worth watching. They're currently without a trainer, and they seem to really look up to you, so I brought their files over personally!"
Dream Weaver took the papers. "Wait, I'm already a Tracen trainer?"
The system is pretty efficient, she thought. At least it saved me from having to actually sit for an exam.
"What are you talking about? With your status, you don't need an exam to be a trainer."
"Even at Central Tracen, you're the only Uma Musume with those kinds of achievements."
Dream Weaver didn't catch the rest of Northern Taste's chatter; her mind was already glued to the documents in her hands.
"Hishi Miracle," she whispered, looking at the somewhat plump Uma Musume in the first photo.
Then, her eyes drifted to the second profile.
"And..."
"Liberty Island."
