Chapter 258 - Don’t Look! - 258

"Hahahahaha!"

Symboli Rudolf burst into a wave of hearty laughter upon hearing that. She pressed a hand to her forehead, shaking it as she addressed Dream Weaver.

"My apologies, but isn't this the perfect moment for a line like, 'How dare you show such disrespect before European Uma Musume Racing'?"

Though she managed to rein in her laughter, the grin she couldn't quite suppress made it clear that Symboli Rudolf greatly appreciated Dream Weaver's response.

It wasn't just the terrifying strength she possessed; it was this fearless fighting spirit, this refusal to be cowed even by European Uma Musume Racing, that made Symboli Rudolf hold Dream Weaver in such high esteem.

After her laugh subsided, she gestured for everyone to take a seat on the sofa.

Then, standing at the focal point of the trio's attention, she spread her arms wide and declared in a loud voice.

"Then let it begin in earnest! Our rebellion!"

Shiragawa, sitting obediently to the side, parted her lips slightly as if she wanted to say something, but quickly swallowed her words under the force of Rudolf's impassioned speech.

"In order to drag European Uma Musume Racing down from its pedestal, we must shatter the shackles it has imposed upon the world—the so-called declaration that only Uma Musume born in Europe or trained there can win the Triple Crown."

"And our first battle, naturally, will be the Satsuki Sho, eight months from now, in early April of next year."

"After that confrontation with Richard earlier, there's no way we can stay hidden any longer. Even if he can't personally sway the big shots of European Uma Musume Racing, the public opinion stirred up by the journalists present will do the job for him."

"That means the Satsuki Sho will undoubtedly see Uma Musume dispatched from Europe to stop us."

At this point, a trace of a sneer flickered across Symboli Rudolf's lips as she barked loudly to the three present.

"But just as Dream Weaver said, let them come!"

"The more attention European Uma Musume Racing gives us, the greater the wave we can stir in people's hearts. They want to intercept us? Why can't we use them as stepping stones?!"

"A championship won under the relentless pursuit and blockade of European Uma Musume Racing is a true championship, one that will capture everyone's gaze!"

"When that time comes, the whole world will have no choice but to look at us, to look at you!"

Symboli Rudolf reached a hand out towards Dream Weaver.

Her fervent declaration had brought a flush to her cheeks, and a few beads of sweat, born from excitement, traced paths down her fair skin over her slender neck, adding a captivating brilliance to her already exquisite features.

Staring into those purple eyes that seemed to glow, Dream Weaver was momentarily stunned.

She had never seen this side of Symboli Rudolf before.

The student council president she knew was someone who worked hard for the Uma Musume, who fought for scholarships for those from poor families, who would dig through school rosters over an Uma Musume's nonsensical ramblings.

Combined with the stories circulating around Tracen Academy, the real Symboli Rudolf, in Dream Weaver's eyes, had always seemed more like a worrywart, joke-cracking uncle-next-door.

But this Symboli Rudolf was so vibrant and radiant, exuding a sharpness that commanded attention, holding a will strong enough to turn the whole world upside down as she reached out to Dream Weaver.

It was as if she was saying, 'Let's go smash European Uma Musume Racing to pieces.'

Yet, Dream Weaver thought, this version of Symboli Rudolf wasn't so bad either.

Gazing into those eyes, now sparkling with excitement, she replied earnestly.

"Alright!"

Hearing this, Symboli Rudolf showed a satisfied smile. Without pausing for breath, she continued.

"Does anything require my assistance now? There are still eight months until the Satsuki Sho. Whether it's logistics or training plans, the team I've assembled can handle it."

Dream Weaver didn't stand on ceremony either. After a moment's thought, she replied.

"I don't plan on looking for a trainer, but wouldn't it be troublesome to enter races without one later? Is there any way around that?"

Based on her prior observations, she really had no desire to find a trainer here at Tracen, where almost everyone treated European Uma Musume Racing's methods as the gospel truth.

But now she was a student of Tracen Academy.

Unlike her last script world, as a scion of an independent noble family with elders to help coordinate, trying to enter a prestigious race like a Triple Crown leg as a student without a trainer would be hard to justify.

Back in her first script world, Dream Weaver hadn't managed to find a trainer either, but she'd had Dancing Brave backing her then.

This time, with no such support, she really didn't know how to convince anyone else.

Symboli Rudolf agreed without a moment's hesitation.

"That's not a problem. My team includes several trainers from Tracen Academy. If you prefer not to interact with them, you can just register under one of them nominally."

Hearing this, Dream Weaver relaxed slightly and remarked with some feeling.

"Your team really does have all sorts of talents, doesn't it…"

Seeming pleased by the praise, the swish of Symboli Rudolf's tail grew a bit more pronounced, but she kept her expression composed and said with an air of nonchalance.

"I'm not some foolish, clumsy horse-wolf who acts on impulse. Of course, I made the necessary preparations before launching this rebellion."

"Not just trainers and logistics—I even have influence in the press corps. I'll have them time their coverage to build momentum for you."

As if wanting to show off something to Dream Weaver, Symboli Rudolf went on to list several other resources her team possessed.

But Dream Weaver didn't really catch most of them.

After hearing Rudolf's first sentence, she had twitched the corner of her mouth. For some reason, she had a feeling that the 'fool' mentioned was probably herself.

Symboli Rudolf chattered on for a good long while about personnel arrangements before finally realizing she'd gotten a bit off-track.

Giving a light cough, she addressed the three.

"But it's still early days before the Satsuki Sho. The most important thing right now is to improve your own strength. I'll have the team prepare customized training plans later."

"You debuted this year too, right, Mr. C.B? I'll have them create a training plan for you as well."

"While I have confidence in Dream Weaver, facing the full force of European Uma Musume Racing's pursuit is another matter. Having one more person contesting the Triple Crown races will increase our chances of success."

After finishing, Rudolf glanced up at the clock and, satisfied that matters for the day were settled, nodded.

She left Dream Weaver and Shiragawa her contact information before declaring the meeting adjourned.
