"Spirit Sorcerer? Like the Kannagi and Nagi Families you mentioned before?"
Luo Shu looked somewhat surprised at Nia. It wasn't like he hadn't collaborated with Ayano Kannagi before - was Eriri suited for similar abilities?
But Eriri's powers didn't seem related to Ayano Kannagi's, did they?
"The names are merely the same, but their essences are completely different."
Nia climbed up from the sofa, sat properly, and picked up a cookie from the table:
"It's like flour and biscuits - one is in its natural state, the other a processed product."
"Of course, the most straightforward comparison would be that the so-called Spirit Sorcerers in this world have relatively low ceilings."
As she spoke, Nia licked the cookie crumbs from her fingers while watching Raziel's pages turn automatically:
"Whether it's the Nagi Family in Hong Kong, or Japan's Kannagi and Tsuchimikado Families - fundamentally, they aren't Spirit Sorcerers, but rather Spirit Contractors."
"Their power doesn't come from personal cultivation, but relies on bloodline contracts, borrowing power from spirits using physical and mental energy."
"While they possess various elemental resistances, the physical constitution of these Spirit Contractors isn't particularly strong, nor does their lifespan extend much. They could only be considered nature's agents to a certain degree."
"Because of this, these Spirit Contractors have an upper limit to their power. This limit is represented by the so-called Contractors of the Spirit Kings - the first-generation contractors of the high spirits."
"Unlike these Spirit Contractors, the Spirit Sorcerer Class provided by Raziel is essentially an imitation and enhancement of high spirits and Spirit Contractors."
"It begins with Common Rank Balancer adjusting their power equilibrium, progresses to Excellent Rank Faceless Spirit diluting their attributes, then Elite Rank Mimic acquiring various elemental spirit powers, and finally Hero Rank Harmoniser, who combine Spirit powers to obtain stronger, more suitable abilities."
"Ultimately, the Demigod Rank Spirit Sorcerer becomes the finished product - theoretically an artificial high spirit~!"
"According to Raziel's conclusions, this Class could theoretically form a sustainable cultivation system. Once the original practitioner Eriri reaches Hero Rank, she'd be capable of independently producing advancement materials for Balancers and Faceless Spirits."
"Additionally, corresponding advancement materials could be obtained by modulating Abyss materials."
"This inheritable Class represents a genuine ticket to power, unlike Spirit Contractors who rely entirely on bloodline inheritance."
"Hmph, this is a Class I painstakingly researched and completed. By any measure, it's far superior to those third-rate bloodline theories~"
Watching Nia Honjo proudly place her hands on her hips, Luo Shu couldn't help but stroke his chin:
"You've even deduced the Demigod Rank? Viewed this way, it does seem quite suitable for Eriri's Class."
Hearing this, Nia's expression stiffened slightly as she muttered quietly:
"The Demigod part isn't actually complete... I only managed to deduce half of it from the Hero Rank Harmoniser."
"Besides, with so many tasks - investigating spirits while searching for suitable Classes for Eriri - it's impossible to complete everything in just a few minutes, right?"
At this, Luo Shu couldn't suppress a chuckle: "Alright, alright, I know you've worked hard. I just assumed you'd completed it when you mentioned the Demigod Class name."
"Well, just deducing the name didn't consume too much power..."
Nia scratched her head, then added somewhat ruefully:
"But having figured out so much at once, I've indeed depleted quite a bit of my Spiritual Power. For the next three... no, five days, it'd be best not to use Raziel's power."
As she spoke, Nia seemed to consider something, then opened Raziel, tore out a blank page, folded it, and handed it to Luo Shu:
"Here, take this."
Accepting the blank page, Luo Shu gave Nia a surprised look.
He wasn't sure if it was his imagination, but Nia's complexion seemed paler.
"What's this?"
"It's a replica of Raziel. Didn't I mention before? About sharing part of Raziel's power with you. Well, this is the most direct manifestation of that."
Nia Honjo pointed at the blank page in Luo Shu's hand and said:
"I've bestowed a portion of my Sephira Crystal's power onto this blank page, allowing it to replicate Raziel's abilities to some extent."
"Of course, you'll have to supply all the energy consumption yourself, and since you're not the true holder, your power expenditure should be about two to three times mine."
"But considering that a Calamity Priest's Spiritual Power as a Hero Rank unique Class is already twenty times greater than mine... well, the difference probably doesn't matter much?"
Nia scratched her cheek, hesitated for a moment, then continued:
"Anyway, it's best not to let your Spiritual Power drop too low. That would dull your senses and weaken your danger perception. In this world where Abyss Descents are frequent, that's extremely dangerous."
"While I'm resting these few days, you can use this blank page for investigations. Just remember not to seek too much information at once."
"As for extracting the Calamity Jade Seal from Conan... wait five days until I've recovered, then I'll help investigate. That thing's authority level is too high - even an overdrawn blank page probably wouldn't reveal much."
"Alright, that covers everything, so..."
As she spoke, Nia glanced at Luo Shu, then flopped onto the sofa, smiling as she beckoned to him:
"Before sleeping, want to have a go on the sofa?"
'Who wants to do it with you on the sofa...' Luo Shu glared darkly at Nia, then glanced toward the kitchen to confirm no one was watching before sighing:
"I'll go tidy up your garrison quarters."
"Much obliged~"
Nia waved her hand, collapsed on the sofa, and within seconds, steady breathing could be heard.
Falling asleep instantly... Luo Shu looked on somewhat enviously. His current constitution required less than two hours of sleep. Though he felt energetic, old habits made him feel perpetually sleep-deprived.
Shaking his head without comment, Luo Shu turned and strode toward the garrison's teleportation gate.
Just before stepping through, Nia's voice suddenly called from behind:
"Oops, almost forgot something important before dozing off."
"Hmm?" Luo Shu turned back questioningly.
At that moment, Nia grinned from her sprawled position on the sofa:
"If you want Eriri to complete her Class, the fastest method is obtaining technical support from the Aldegia Kingdom."
"Currently, the easiest way to acquire this technology is through that kingdom's man-crazy first princess, La Folia Rihavein~"
With a wink at Luo Shu, she added:
"Good luck, Luo Shu-kun! I'm rooting for you~"
'Rooting for me, my foot...'
Luo Shu's face twitched at the thought.
