Chapter 9 – The Choice of Hearts
The atmosphere in the castle had changed. After the festival, danger grew closer, and so did the tension between the women.
One night, the saintess approached Rale, her hands trembling.
"Rale-sama… I don't care if you're a demon. To me, you are the man who saved me. Please… let me stay at your side forever."
Later, the warrior princess challenged him to a duel under the moonlight. Their blades clashed, sparks flying, until she knocked him back and pressed her sword to his chest. Instead of striking, she leaned forward and kissed him.
"You belong to me. Remember that."
The elf mage appeared last, slipping into his chambers without permission. Her emerald eyes glittered with mischief.
"Love isn't about fate, Rale. It's about choosing… and I choose you. Even if the world calls you a villain."
Rale sat in silence after they left, his chest heavy. In his past life, he had no one. Now, three women loved him — fiercely, desperately.
But his choice was not just about love. For outside his walls, the Hero of Light stood waiting, sword raised, ready to end his existence.
The next chapter of his life would be decided not only by who he loved… but by whether he survived.
