Chapter 27 - Daily 2

Jiang Fang told her to step down and then called up several other students whose blade techniques had reached the 'Profound Realm' level to demonstrate. She then controlled her strength and sparred with each of them, allowing the others to feel the power of the 'Profound Realm' blade techniques.

Some of the surrounding students seemed to have gained something, their faces showing excitement. Some were deep in thought, as if they had gained some insight. Others frowned, as if they had no idea.

After Jiang Fang finished sparring with several students, she told them to step down, leaving only her on the field.

"I just explained the training methods for entering the 'Profound Realm' after your blade techniques reach 'Perfection'. The few students just now also demonstrated the effects of 'Profound Realm' blade techniques."

"To enter the 'Profound Realm', you must undergo diligent training and combat. Sparring with others, going to the Arena, going to the Trial Tower, are all good methods."

"However, the resources of the Arena and the Trial Tower are limited, and each person can only use them for a certain amount of time based on their ranking. Therefore, the most direct method is to spar with others, or go to Old Australia to find monsters to hone your blade techniques."

"Next, I'll call up a few students at the 'Perfection' realm to spar."

Jiang Fang called up the students one by one, letting them fight in pairs, and she gave them guidance.

Xu Feng watched intently, studying carefully, thinking about how to hone his swordsmanship to the level of 'Perfection'. Suddenly, he heard Jiang Fang calling him.

"Xu Feng, come up here."

Xu Feng gripped the Ice Soul Blade in his hand and walked to the center of the arena.

"Let me introduce everyone. This is Xu Feng, a new recruit who just joined the camp yesterday."

"He hasn't been a warrior for long, but he has a great talent for swordsmanship. Who wants to spar with him?"

"I will." A student stepped onto the stage with his blade.

"Peng Chen? Your swordsmanship is at the 'Perfection' level." Jiang Fang pondered for a moment, then looked at Xu Feng. "Very well, this is a good opportunity to see how far your swordsmanship has progressed."

Xu Feng and Peng Chen exchanged salutes and drew their blades, facing each other.

Jiang Fang called out softly, "Begin!"

Peng Chen moved forward, his blade thrusting towards Xu Feng's throat.

Xu Feng unleashed his blade's speed, parrying Peng Chen's blade and slashing towards his arm.

Peng Chen shifted his body, his blade spinning to deflect Xu Feng's, and then slashed horizontally towards Xu Feng's neck.

Xu Feng erupted with power, thrusting his blade directly into Peng Chen's. With a "clink," Peng Chen's blade flew out of his hand, slamming into his own legs.

Peng Chen hurriedly retreated, but found the blade suspended in mid-air, not flying towards him.

Xu Feng channeled his Spiritual Force, sending the blade in front of him, and smiled, "I concede."

Peng Chen took his blade back, exchanged a few polite words, and left the arena.

Jiang Fang frowned deeply, saying, "Xu Feng, this is a blade technique class. Relying on brute force won't improve your swordsmanship. Don't use more than three layers of speed and strength."

"Yes, Instructor," Xu Feng realized.

"Next one, spar with him."

Another student stepped forward, also at the 'Perfection' level in blade techniques.

After exchanging names, the two engaged in combat.

This time, Xu Feng wasn't as relaxed. His opponent's blade techniques forced him into a difficult situation. He did his best to respond, using his perception to finely judge his opponent's force application, predict the trajectory of their blade, and barely managed to hold on.

After a few minutes of fighting, Xu Feng finally spotted a flaw in his opponent's blade technique. His blade flashed, deflecting the opponent's blade and hitting the arm holding the blade.

"I concede," Xu Feng breathed a sigh of relief.

Jiang Fang was a little surprised. She said, "In your first battle, your swordsmanship was only at the 'Expert' level. Now, there's a hint of 'Perfection.' However, your weakness…"

She shook her head, not continuing. She then called out, "Another person, spar with him."

Xu Feng fought several people in a row, his swordsmanship improving rapidly. From initially having to give it his all, he gradually reached a stalemate, and finally, he gained a slight advantage.

"Such a swordsmanship cultivation talent, truly a genius!"

"The progress is too obvious."

"At this rate, he might even touch the threshold of the 'Profound Realm' in a few days."

"I feel like my swordsmanship has also improved a little by sparring with him."

The surrounding students were in an uproar, some eager to try and spar with Xu Feng.

Jiang Fang frowned but didn't say anything. She let everyone split up and fight freely, then moved among them, pointing out the shortcomings of those fighting and explaining how to improve and train.

At half past ten in the morning, the class ended.

"That's all for today's open class. Class dismissed," Jiang Fang announced, standing in the center of the training ground. "You all need to practice diligently after this, and strive to break through to the 'Profound Realm' level as soon as possible!"

"Thank you, Teacher!"

"Thank you, Instructor!"

The students bid farewell to their teacher one after another, gathering in small groups to find training grounds.

Jiang Fang spotted Xu Feng in the crowd and beckoned, "Xu Feng, come with me."

Xu Feng had fought dozens of matches that morning, with wins and losses, and felt his swordsmanship had improved significantly.

He walked over excitedly, "Teacher..."

"Call me Sister Fang." Jiang Fang cut him off. "Do you feel like your blade skills have improved a lot, that you've reached the 'Perfection' level?"

"Yes. I feel like my blade skills have improved a lot. Fighting with others is indeed the fastest way to improve."

Jiang Fang smiled slightly, "Your talent in blade skills is indeed amazing. In one morning, you went from 'Expert' to 'Perfection'. You truly deserve to be called a genius, capable of mastering the first three levels of the "Ninefold Thunderblade"."

She turned and walked upstairs, "Come with me, let me see the level of your movement techniques."

Xu Feng hurried to follow.

Jiang Fang led Xu Feng to the instructor's training area on the sixth floor, arriving at her own exclusive training ground.

The instructors' exclusive training grounds all had their own unique characteristics. The overall color scheme of Jiang Fang's training ground was dominated by fiery red patterns, even the weapon racks had fiery red stripes.

Several lines of words were also written on the wall beside the weapon rack.

"We're the vanguard…" Xu Feng murmured.

"Focus!" Jiang Fang called out to him, removing the Crimson Longblade from her back. Xu Feng quickly turned around.

"Body techniques and blade techniques are similar; they're also divided into four levels: 'Basic', 'Subtle', 'Perfect', and 'Profound Realm'. I'll attack you with blade techniques. You try your best to dodge with body techniques, but don't use Spiritual Force."

"Can I use my blade to block?"

Jiang Fang smiled. "You can try."

Xu Feng drew his blade and, with Spiritual Force, sent the scabbard to the weapon rack.

He assumed a defensive posture, his senses fully open, watching Jiang Fang closely. "I'm ready."

Jiang Fang moved with light steps, the Crimson Longblade appearing to slash and stab as she attacked Xu Feng. She was using the blade techniques from the Ninefold Thunderblade.

Xu Feng swung his blade to block, but felt like he was striking at nothing. He had anticipated this, and lightly shifted his body to evade the attack.

Jiang Fang's blade spun, continuing her assault. Xu Feng tried to block several times, but couldn't touch Jiang Fang's longblade.

He simply gave up on blocking and focused entirely on dodging with his footwork.

Jiang Fang's attacks accelerated. The blade's crimson light connected into a single sheet, like a red mist, or a sea of fire. Xu Feng focused his mind and dodged with all his might. His form flickered through the fire, like a phantom.

The speed of the crimson longblade increased, and the frequency of the attacks rose. The blade's light became a storm of flames. Xu Feng was like a falling leaf in this storm, and his dodges became increasingly difficult.

Finally, Xu Feng's dodging reached his limit. In a single instant, he was struck in several vital areas by the crimson longblade.

Jiang Fang withdrew her blade and stepped back, nodding in satisfaction. "Your footwork can be considered Perfect level. I already know how to arrange your training plan."

"Your swordsmanship is only at the Perfection level now, and needs more training. Starting tomorrow, you will practice swordsmanship with me in the morning and afternoon. You can arrange your time in the Gravity Room yourself."

"See you tomorrow, Fang."
